We use it nearly everyday. I have never really enjoyed cooking, but needed to start eating healthy again and this little unit has made all the difference in the world. Easy prep, relatively easy cleaning, plenty of capacity. If you are a cook extraordinaire and love being in the kitchen, maybe not needed, but for those of us that just want fresher meals that we can throw together in 25 minutes with minimal fuss, this thing rocks. Fair warning, you will likely burn a few things as you figure out how to use it, lol, but still totally worth it and there is a really nice guide to get you going on all kinds of foods.

Living in an apartment with little to no counter space, this is a gem of an appliance. I love this air fryer oven so much this is my second one. Unfortunately though Best Buy no longer carries the 13 function version which I had first. It's very easy and versatile to use, even my kids love using this thing. No regrets here!

I am not sure we have ever had a family kitchen appliance that we have used more. This thing does it all. We cook in it, reheat in it, crisp things in it, air fry in it. It's amazing and is used multiple times every day in our house. Worth every penny! And, the fact that it tips up for storage is just the icing on a very good cake!

We finally got around to using this.. We have done simple things such as heating up things.. and we have made full blown frozen pizza in it. Heats evenly and seems to cook within the "time on the box" consistently. Setup was easy but there are a LOT of functions so read the manual. it IS a fair bit larger than toaster ovens so take that into account.. Also I was not a fan of how it looks tilted "up for storage" so we left it down. cleaning it [and its internals] is easy and the "sear plate" is very non stick so hot water and a soapy sponge does the trick.

I've been looking to upgrade both my toaster oven and air fryer and have been eyeing this Ninja model for a while. Once the price dropped, I purchased it immediately. At first, I thought it would be too big, but the flip-up function was an easy solution. I'm happy with the quality of the cooking from the air fryer; much better than the basket kind I had before. Watch out, the oven gets really hot on the top, but otherwise, the temp is regulated very well.

    Minor complaints

I've been using the Ninja Foodi FT301 for the past couple of months and I am generally happy with its results. However, I do have some complaints: A. The handle for opening the front door is oddly located on the side (left side). If the fingers of your left hand are sticky or greasy from handling the food that you're cooking, then you have to reach across and awkwardly open/close the door with your right hand. Also, once or twice when I was first getting used to the unit, by habit, I tried to close the hot door by pushing it up with my fingers at the conventional top-center position. Yeow! This is probably part of the learning curve for all new users but I see this as a safety hazard for guests and especially guests that are children (since they have skin that is more sensitive to burns). Fortunately, I rarely have small children around so it is not a deal breaker for me. A handle mounted in the traditional center position would have been much more safe and practical. B. They cheaped out on the buttons. You have to use soooo many combinations of button presses and dial knob adjustments to get the unit to do what you want. For instance, to toast a pair of frozen waffles: 1. Press Power button or the dial to turn unit on. 2. Dial the knob until the "Toast" indicator lights up (the default setting for Toast is "4 Slices, 3 Shade"). 3. Press the "Time/Slices" button to adjust the number of slices. 4. Dial the knob to "2 Slices". 5. Press the "Temp/Shade" button if you want your waffles a bit more or a bit less toasty than default. 6. Dial the knob to the value of "Shade" desired (1-7). 7. Push the dial knob in to start toasting. If the waffles did not come out toasty enough for your liking, you'll have to go through steps 5-7 again. 8. Press the Power button to turn the unit off (optional because the unit will eventually power itself down after a certain amount of idle time). I wish that the unit had a full array of function buttons (Toast, Bake, Broil, etc.) similar to a microwave oven. This would have made it that much easier to use (especially for guests since the procedures are non-intuitive) but since additional buttons cost money (25 cents/button?) they elected not to do it. Of course, once you get used to it, operating the unit becomes second nature but it's more lengthy than it could be and as I said before, not user friendly to guests who don't want to spend time reading the manual or puzzling out the button and dial combinations. C. After the unit completes its function (toasting, baking, etc.), the display says "HOT" to warn that all surfaces are currently hot. That's a good safety feature. What I don't like is that the fan continues to run, to actively cool the unit down until it's safe to "FLIP" the unit up for space saving. Since my cabinets are too low to allow the unit to be flipped up, I do not need this feature. While running the fan does not eat as much power as running the heating elements, it still uses up electricity, increasing the unit's carbon footprint. I was perfectly happy with the way my old toaster oven passively cooled itself. They should have included a way to disable active cooling.

Nice product. Toaster works very well. The air fry option isn't quite where the old air fryer was but it's nice to have everything in one unit. I wish it had more handle area since we are all right handed and tend to grab the very hot door to close it. Also the fan blows for a long time after it's completed whatever task which I assume is to cool it off but not sure. Haven't used the flip option but it will be nice to save counter space when I need to. I think all the crumbs will fall to the back though.

Cooks food quickly. Air frying and toasting work well. Just need to get used to it and monitor closely at first, as you can easily overcook things. The only downside is that you need to mess with the sear plate (ie: have it in or remove it) depending on what you're doing. As others have noted, make sure to keep the sear plate and crumb tray clean, else when you flip it up, anything on them will fall/flow to the back of the toaster. Really like the recaptured counter space when flipped up. Great price when on a deal of the day. We also got one for our daughter, as she liked ours so much. Hopefully it holds up better than he multiple toaster ovens before it!

Was expecting so much more from a NINJA PRODUCT!! Wish it were a bit taller DONT know how a whole chicken would ever fit, I don’t find myself folding it upright so much but like the ability to if I need the space. Pain to clean the inside of oven and the wire fry basket, which I thought would be great for crisping without having to flip but still have to flip. Not sure exactly how long I will be able to use it or be keeping due to the build up on the inside.

I love this Ninja Countertop Broiler! It browns and toasts evenly and quickly. Easy to use control panel. A cooling fan and light inside. And, it can flip up and out of the way, so I get my work & prep space back! It makes excellant baked potatoes, vegetable casseroles, bagels, pizza, etc., without heating up my whole house. Can't wait to try Chicken! Best idea, ever!

We recently decided to upgrade our old basic toaster oven. We have other Ninja appliances we love and this had good reviews plus it is multiple appliances in one! We are now able to get rid of our clunky air fryer that we pull out of the cabinet only when using since this has it built in. We’ve successfully made full dinners, pizzas, toast bagels, and used the air fryer to make some homemade crab cakes. The plus is that it folds up to give us back our countertop space. Highly recommend!

The sear plate is what takes this tonthe next level. I never use the basket, airfrying with the sear tray allows the food to brown really well, and for regular baking or air baking it serves as a full size baking sheet. I cook everything in this oven. Super quick preheat, easy to use. Just remember if you use the basket to airfry keep the sear plate on the bottom or any drips from your food will go onto the hest elements and smoke. Love the flip feature. Easy to use, but would prefer a second knob to change modes instead to pushing buttons and using 1 knob for everything.
