Best small appliance I own.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont think i have ever owned anything as versatile as this appliance. It does everything so well! If you like making snacks (nuggets, bagel bites, mini pizzas, wings, etc) get one of these ASAP! Not to mention you save electricity and time by using this instead of the oven!

You need this in your life
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is amazing. It’s insane how many different things you can cook with this. I love being able to cook one whole meal in an appliance. In the picture I have broccoli and cauliflower roasting on top. I got a small rack on Amazon underneath to cook tofu and on the very bottom of the pot, I had quinoa cooking. I can’t say enough good things about thisb

Great accessory to the kitchen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will be honest; I love to cook and I have been looking to try out a pressure cooker. This just so happens to be a multi-purpose device. Which opens the door to so much more that just pressure cooking. The design is great. I know in the past the ninja devices like this had multiple lids. One for pressure cooking and one for air frying. This has one lid which frees up a lot of space. I love the layout and controls to switch between air frying, pressure cooking, and steam crisp. Its very simple. This device can do so much and I haven’t even scratched the surface. I will note that it is quite heavy and large. That’s probably the only negative I have to say about it thus far. Size and weight. As far as how it cooks. I have used the air fryer feature multiple times and it is absolutely amazing! I would much rather use this than a microwave. The food comes out just like it was fried in a deep fryer minus the grease and mess. I will admit, the roast and vegetables that I made in the pictures and followed the recipe for in the included booklet, did not turn out as I had hoped. That being said, I believe it was my fault for not following the times referenced in the recipe book well enough. I also think I filled the container to full. The roast was cooked using the steam and crisp setting which obviously I have not yet mastered. Last night I prepared and cooked a whole chicken using the pressure cooker and it turned out amazing. It was a combination of using the pressure cooker as well as the air fryer to crisp the skin and everyone loved it! Cleanup is very easy. You basically take the pot and whatever accessories you are using inside for your cook and wash them with soap and water. Sometimes I will get something on the outside of the multicooker and wipe it down with a wet cloth. Its very easy to clean and maintain. I would highly recommend this multicooker for anyone who is looking to add another tool to the arsenal.

Cooking with ease!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Ninja pressure cooker/air fryer combination is amazing. This was purchased for my adult son and he has found it most helpful from cooking a full meal to air frying mozzarella sticks.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great. Directions are a little hard to understand but once you get a hang of how you use the MANY options you will not need them. The steam valve is loose but apparently that’s how it’s suppose to be. My first time using it I made tuna burgers.

The all in one multicooker that does it right.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing I thought when this became available was, ok, another pressure cooker. Fortunately I discovered, the Ninja Foodi really does so much more. If you could only have one cooking appliance, this would be it. With a heating element and circulating fan built into the smart lid that doesn't need to be exchanged when steaming, just streamlines the whole process and minimizes the need for extra storage space. I found the user interface to be very intuitive and easy to use with both a 3 position lever, a dial, and a few buttons for time and temp. The steam and bake function was impressive with homemade cinnamon buns coming out just the way you'd expect, crispy on top and moist in the center. Steam and crisp with broccoli was a bit worrisome, took it out a little early, thought it might burn. It also releases quite a bit of steam while cooking, I wouldn't put it in an area with cabinets above. I pressure cooked hard boiled eggs, chicken broth, and pulled pork with perfect results. I actually used air fryer mode for the pulled pork to finish it off, nice not to dirty more pans. Sweet potato fries came out nice and crispy on air fryer mode. The fan is quite loud on air fry, more so than other appliances I have for this function. I like how the ceramic coated 6.5qt pot is very easy to clean, nothing sticks to it. I thought it might be an issue cleaning the lid after frying, but it seems the fan pushes the liquid down preventing splatter. After steaming, I noticed a lot of condensation collects around the rim when you open the lid. I'm happy they thought of it and included a small cup where it all drains into. I had a couple of issues to report. First, the included rack is small and the handles infringe on space. They illustrate how you can flip the rack to cook 2 different things, but I found it sits too high and any food would be too close to the lid element. Steaming vegetables requires too much time because of the required preheating to build up steam, faster to cook on a pan or on pressure cook. The included recipe book is scant and doesn't offer anything of interest, but it's nice for reference for approximate cook times for the various settings. Overall, I like the usefulness this 14 in 1 cooker adds to my kitchen. It's worth having in place of any of it's competition.

Ninja Does it Again !
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Confession here, this is not my first Ninja Foodie. I have had the previous model for about 2 years now. The previous model had two lids. One that is stationary and another for pressure cooking that you used for that purpose only. To be honest, when I first got it, it was amazing ! I was able to get rid of my older air fryer and one of my older crockpots. I loved it because I could do all these great things all in one unit! So now! I got this new one with the Smart Lid. My daughter will be the benefactor for my old one now, she always loved it. This smart lid on the new one is great, single lid with all the pieces built in, it has the fan for air fry and also the locking for pressure cooking! It’s much more convenient than the older model and much easier to store. Let’s be clear, this thing isn’t light, its heavy. It’s over 20lbs so keep that in mind. Its not something you just keep in your roundabout cabinet and pull out. We keep ours in our pantry. So this unit does 14 different functions! We primarily use ours 3-4 ways primarily. First and foremost, we use the AirFryer. It’s amazing what the airfryer has done for things like frozen food cooking. If you like tater tots or frozen breaded fish or shrimp, there is nothing like the airfryer setting. You can’t put them in your oven and get this result. It’s like frying without the oil but gives you a result that is more tasty and cooked properly than an oven. Secondly, the pressure cooking setting is amazing as well as the slow cook option. My wife started a pot of Beef Bourgeon. Unfortunately we didn’t start it until after about 1pm. We put the unit on Slow Cook Hi and let it go about 4 hours. Once that time was up, we knew we wanted to eat within the next hour or two. I switched the unit to pressure cook and set it for only 30min. Remember that when you cook on pressure, you have a 10 or so minute buildup of the pressure prior to the cook time starting. Once done, the unit will slowly release pressure. You can force this by using the valve on top to release the pressure. We slowly did this to enable us to open the lid and wow…now the meat was falling apart and the potatoes, mushrooms and carrots were perfectly tender but held their texture. We are going to do a small whole chicken this week on the Steam/Crisp mode where we can steam and convection cook the chicken but crisp up that skin via the convection. A couple of notes, in the previous Foodi, there was a nonstick basket which was nice because it made it easier to pull the entire basket out. In this newer model it has been replaced with a “Cook and Crisp Plate”. While this is good, in usage, it just doesn’t seem as functionally useful as the basket. Maybe that is my personal opinion but I actually prefer the basket. Overall, this is a Rockstar. The fact that it is a single smartlid now is the perfect new version. Remember that you literally can replace your airfryer, crockpot and pressure cooker with one unit that actually does those things and 11 more ! I highly recommend this unit, it is super easy to clean and use and once you use it a few times, it’s amazing how you start to think of many things that you cook and how this unit will not only make them easier but be able to do them in a single device.

All in one goodness
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have used pressure cookers, and air fryers, and have owned both for years. Never occurred to us that a device could take the best of both worlds and combine them to make something better than either individual device at their respective jobs. This does just that, combines two different appliances and makes both obsolete. It excels at everything we have thrown at it from quick air frying chicken nuggets for the kids to pressure-cooking full-blown meals, and the nice mix of the two called steam and crisp. We used the steam and crisp mode for an included recipe for a roast and vegetable meal with gravy that was sublime and look forward to trying many more meals that were not possible with our old cooker. Speaking of which, this is the same capacity of our old cooker but because it is shorter and wider it has more usable space inside which makes a big difference for cooking. We can fit for example a bigger roast in this because of that different footprint which is wonderful. I appreciate that it has a single lid for both tasks rather than using a separate one for each like previous designs. It makes storage and use much simpler particularly because it is very large and heavy. Thankfully it is nice looking making leaving it out on the counter much more approachable. On screen controls are easy to use and responsive, and the selective use of conventional buttons for important things like temperature are welcome. It is easy to use, clean and understand making it much more friendly than our old one. There is still a slight learning curve for each of its functions but once you get the hang of it, it all makes sense. If you want to reduce the number of small appliances in your home, need to replace one, or simply want better quality food out of it then get this. Rejoice in good food that is easy to make and save time in the process!

This is definitely their best Pressure Cooker yet!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Ninja products. Of all the ones I've had, I've only ever had a bad experience with maybe one of their products, but Customer Support has been great, throughout. I currently have a Ninja Coffee Maker, Foodi 8qt Deluxe Pressure cooker, Foodi Deluxe grill and a Foodi blender. I had seen Ninja's new pressure cooker FINALLY has an all-in-one design. Having to keep up with the pressure cooking lid on my old one was getting old, haha (not to mention even more storage space). Unboxing this one was a treat, as are all Ninja products. Hope you like tape! Seriously tho, getting it out of the box isn't a bad experience and I've always gotten some weird satisfaction from peeling off all the plastic-like tape from all the various parts that holds the unit together during shipment. I've always loved this about Ninja products and have never had an issue with residue or anything being left behind. Once unboxed and set-up, dang...this this is super nice to look at. I think I will actually leave this one out on the island "on display". :-) And I'm happy to report that function is just as good as form! I've thrown all my recipes at it that I've used on my 8qt Deluxe without a hitch and no issues with running out of room in the pot, either. The only difference I've noticed between this 6.5qt one and my other larger one is just the depth of the pot. It's a bit smaller, but not significantly. I've tried Hibachi Fried Rice (one of our favorites to make!), Sesame Chicken, Multi-Layer lasagna (using a spring-form pan) and my absolute go-to...RIBS in this unit for review testing. ALL of my recipes came out the same, if not even slightly better than they have in the past with my other model. If I only had one issue with this one is the fact that due to the lost depth of the 6.5 qt, I can only due one rack of ribs at a time...MAYBE two racks if they are both on the smaller side. My other one could do 2 full-sized racks at 2.5 to 3 lb per rack. So, I'll be using this one as my primary one for cooking and my old, bigger one exclusively for ribs. Also, functionality of this new Foodi Pressure Cooker is 14-in-1 as advertised, but I don't expect to use every single option available. The pressure cooker has your typical Hi/Lo option with the amount of time. Beyond that, you also have the AirFry/Stovetop options for Sear/Saute, Steam, Sous Vide (which I probably will never use), Slow Cook (Great for Chilli!) and Yogurt (not a function I'll use). The Hibachi Rice worked fantastic with the dual Pressure Cook/Stovetop combo. All-in-all, I give this a 5/5 stars. This will be a new staple appliance in my kitchen.

An awesome multi cooker for the kitchen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ninja Foodi 14-1. Yeah, 14 different cooking methods packaged into a 6.5-quart sized tankard. Setup was easy, unpack the cooker, unlock the lid and remove the cooking pot. Unfortunately, it’s hand wash only, so good luck on messy meal days. The footprint is rather large, and it needs room to vent safely and in my tiny apartment kitchen, it gets a bit challenging, but for what it does, I can’t ding it. Operation is very easy, three buttons, a knob and a lever (The lid lock mechanism also is the mode selector), the instruction book and recipe book are vital to operating it because the recipe book has all the tables (so don’t loose it!) and since this is my first pressure cooker, definitely read up on the operation manual so you don’t blow yourself up. The first test was cooking rice, and with the pressure cooker mode it made some of the best rice I have ever had, and though I messed up the venting process, venting it manually is easy with the switch … knob thing. The second cooking test was the air fryer mode, and this mode blew away my old air fryer, the chicken crisped nicely, and the French fries were thoroughly cooked. I have a lot more to try with this machine but if you’re looking for an appliance that does a lot, this one sure impressed me enough. (I mean it does Sou-vide if you have the vac bags for it, and that impressed me.)

Fantastic!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am late to the air fryer craze, but the Ninja Foodii has great reviews on multiple platforms so I tried it. It’s wonderful! It can do so many different things, i.e. air fry, bake, steam and crisp, cook multiple foods at once, dehydrate, among others. I made frozen cod and mahi fillets using the air fryer function tonight. Took 15 minutes. Perfect fish. Cooked well, yet tender, not dry. Chicken comes out perfect. I even roasted a whole 5 pound one. The pot cleans up easily and is a healthy version of ceramic. I didn’t want toxic chemicals or teflon. I just couldn’t imagine one machine could do so much. Never thought I needed one, but I love it! It is a bit heavy, but I love it so much that I decided to keep it right on the kitchen counter.
