It vacuum fine the floors and carpet. It's light weight and easy to move around. But once I start the stairs or clean the car with the attachments the air suction is very weak. It almost does nothing. I have to use the high power just to get it something clean but that drains the battery very quickly. Very disappointed. My old $100 Shark did a better job. Not keeping this.

The suction is good but it’s quite heavy to maneuver.

Cordless vacuum is a big plus over corded. The battery only lasts about 30 minutes, so plan to have an extra. Priced them out at about $75. Otherwise, another quality Shark product.

Got for a gift for my son.. Shane is in an apartment and the size is just right, and was able to do the both rooms . Only had a week but he says it works great.. So far..

It cleans great and is very easy to use. The only down to this vaccum is, where the head and the base meet it does not lay flat enough to go under my couch.

The Shark Cordless Vertex Pro Vacuum is a keeper. In the box you get the vacuum, handle extension, crevis tool, pet muli-tool, brush, manual, and power adapter. Put the unit together, charge the battery for a few hours, and you are ready to start vacuuming like you have never done before. This is a powerful stick vacuum that does multiple floor types. To start with, the vacuum utilizes Sharks Duo Clean Powerfins. Basically, it utilizes a 2 roller setup. The front roller is very soft and designed to pick up just about anything. This is a self-cleaning roller that continuously clears itself of string, rubber bands, thread, pet hair, and anything else that often wraps around vacuum rollers. The back roller has the rubber-like Powerfins which stay in constant contact with the floor, ensuring that nothing is left behind. It then sucks the dirt through the filters and the debris chamber. It has a very powerful multi-speed motor allowing you to clean big and small messes. The control panel lets you shift from hard-surface to carpet cleaning mode, adjust the suction level, turn the power off and on, and displays the percentage of battery remaining. The vacuum can be used with or without the extension handle, allowing to be used as a stick or handheld vacuum. The rollers can be quickly detached and replaced with one of the accessory attachments. Using the vacuum is easy. Hit the power button, put your foot on the roller assembly and tilt the handle. The rollers start up and off you go. As the type of surface changes, pressing the appropriate button changes how it is cleaning. Pressing a button on the handle extension allows it to bend up to 180 degrees so you slide the roller attachment under your beds, tables, and cabinets without having to kneel on the floor. When you are done with the vacuum, that same button lets you fold the unit in half for easy storage. Things I like about the vacuum: It is not very heavy. I like the display and button layout. It does a great job of picking up dirt, dust and other debris on the floor. It has the self cleaning roller. It works on all floor types. It is very good for cleaning under things. The removable extension handle and attachments make it, extremely flexible functionaly. It is cordless and has good battery life, allowing you to clean your whole home without recharging. The battery is removable so it can be charged while the vacuum is in storage. Things I don't like: When cleaning small rugs with a long nap, the vacuum tends to suck up the rug and jam it in the rollers. Because the vacuum is designed to fold in half for storage, the vacuum is unable to stand upright without being held or propped against something. Every time you stop cleaning, you either have to lay it down, prop it up, or fold it in half. Last thing is that there is no way to store the attachments on the vacuum when they are not in use. Final thoughts: This is a very good vacuum. If they were to fix the balance issues so it could stand upright on it's own, I would give it 5 stars. As it is right now, I have to give it 4 stars.

These new Shark cordless vacuums are outstanding! I’ve purchased 4 of them in the last year for our various locations and family!

The plastic piece on the hinged wand fell apart so it no longer bends. I’m unable to fold to store it properly or bend the wand to easily maneuver under items. Removing and replacing the canister is awkward and lid gets dusty and gross every time you empty. Hair is constantly getting wrapped around the useless fins. Very disappointing product for the price.

Don't waste your money! Within a few months, it started clogging up and spitting out more debris than it sucked up. Now it barely works, less than year later and I have taken it apart dozens of times to pull out anything stuck. My $30 Dustbuster works better than this expensive piece of junk.
