Turns out, it's a pain to use. When it works, it works well - I'll give it that. The issue is, you have to spend as much time cleaning, filling, re-cleaning, coddling the machine as you do actually cleaning. In particular, the dirty water tank is VERY sensitive. When empty, even if there's a piece of hair left on the top - it will complain. Stay clear IMO.

Posted .Hi Amir, Thank you for your honest review of the S5 Cordless Floor Washer. Like a mop, the head needs to be cleaned periodically, dirty water needs to be emptied and clean water needs to be filled. With that said, everything is contained on the machine, the time savings from not needing to sweep or vacuum first followed by wet mopping, we find that the S5 is a great time saver overall. With a small amount of time needed for basic maintenance it should perform well. Didn't get the added warranty from BB, so seeing what I can do through the manufacturer. Also, feels like the process to clean/maintain the vacuum is more then the job it does cleaning the floors.

Between the dog bringing in every piece of mud and dirt and the kids shoes, I was overwhelmed. What used to be sweep, mop, re-sweep and sometimes wipe, has turned into a one step process. I am more than impressed, and it will not disappoint. If you've been holding back, don't wait any longer like I did!

However, after that, it often fails to detect the dirty water tank. This has become very frustrating, especially after I empty the tank. The unit won’t mop or vacuum if it can’t detect the dirty water tank attached. It’s like the old TVs, where I had to tap it a few times for it to recognize the tank.
