    Ninja Makes Prep Easy

In the past, I'd always consider the Ninja brand to be on the more "inexpensive" side, and not quite up to the quality or performance of other 'well-known' brands of small kitchen appliances. Yet, over the years, with every new Ninja product I try, that previous opinion continues to change. Now, with this Ninja Professional XL Food Processor, I'm impressed once again. It's a real power-house in the kitchen! *A word of caution - Make sure to read over the Quick Start Guide and Safety & User Instructions before using this appliance. Be very careful when handling and cleaning the blades. They are sharp! I was particularly curious about the 'Auto-IQ' feature. How all that works, and if it in fact did work, or was simply marketing "hype." The pre-set buttons really do make using this food processor so easy. And I will say, even more fun too! It sorta takes the 'guess work' out of the equation, so you can't really go wrong. Which is another reason I recommend reading over the included literature. My husband used the chopping blade to create his "famous" salsa, which he likes to dribble over his eggs and country potatoes in the morning. While I tried out the slicing disc to cut some zucchini and yellow squash which I baked in the oven, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with my favorite seasoning. Oh, so good! It was wonderful having all the veggies the same thickness so they would be evenly done. The food processor is a bit loud, but that's to be expected. Cleanup was relatively simple. Just be careful when washing the blades (as I'd previously cautioned), and it's probably a good idea to hand dry them instead of letting them 'air dry.' Although you can, I never wash these types of small kitchen appliance "parts" in the dishwasher. But that's merely my preference. A handy booklet of '10 Quick & Easy Recipes' is included, to get you started. I'm definitely looking forward to experimenting, and trying out what else this Ninja food processor is capable of. Most especially, for making bread dough, which is something that I've not made (by hand) in many years. But there's nothing like freshly baked homemade bread lathered in butter. Yum! Also, you'll find on the inside top flap of the box, some more info letting you know where to go online for helpful tips, tricks and recipes. Pretty cool. I'd suggest registering your new Ninja, as well. Plus, there's even a storage 'box' for the blades included along with the appliance, which is a really nice bonus. Well done, Ninja! This Professional XL Food Processor is almost like having your own personal sous chef in the kitchen!

I'm starting off with, I am no Julia Childs. So when I tell you this machine makes me want to get in the kitchen, please believe it is going to make cooking a breeze as it will become your new sous chef! This machine is sturdy, and like other Ninja products it has the suction cups on the bottom to eliminate movement, even with the hardiest of raw foods you throw its way. It comes with a host of equipment, all of which I haven't used yet but plan to. It includes; •Storage caddy to store the blades and spindle •Adjustable blade for slicing •Shredder blade, think cole slaw or smashed potatoes •Dough blade, haven't used it yet. But I'm sure it'll do as well as the blades •3 part food pusher I was so impressed by how quickly and evenly it sliced my veggies for a salad, i adjusted the slicer from the thinnest to thickest dimensions with ease. I will say that the blades are very sharp, please be careful. The setting are low, high and pulse for general use also specific use there's chop, dough, puree and disc (slicing). I've never owned a food processor before, so I'm probably light years behind most when I say 'this is the greatest thing ever invented' next to the dishwasher of course, for the kitchen. I can't wait to use the dough blade for my bread and cookies - neither of which I've made in years. Clean up of the parts is quick and easy either by hand or the dishwasher. This is so crazy, because I can't wait to get in the kitchen again to use my food processor, crazy because until a few days ago I didn't really enjoy cooking!

This food processor's construction is solid and exudes quality. Still, it's still reasonably light through the judicious use of plastics. There are different accessories for chopping, shredding, etc. and they are housed in a nice case. The rubber suction cup feet keep the powerful 1200w motor from walking around on the counter, a nice touch. It does take some effort to move it after the suction cups clamp down, though. The capacity (12 cups) is much larger than the one it replaced. It comes with three different sized pushers though I've only used the medium sized one so far. It's easy to use and easy to clean and doesn't overwhelm with a lot of buttons. The three different speeds are a nice feature, though I admit that I haven't made use of lowest one. The instructions are clear and concise and it doesn't take long to learn all the functions. It's mostly been used to make potato pancakes and humus and salsa so far, but we're really looking forward to using it for pizza dough once the weather improves enough to use the outdoor pizza oven. All told, a real time saver.

    THE Ultimate food prep machine!

This machine is a work of art! I’ve used it over the past week to make salsa, mix bread dough, and also home-made cat food. It does it all and is a joy to clean. Everything washes quickly and most of it is dishwasher safe. The storage box for attachments is a classy looking kit to help keep blades razor sharp. With several sized drop tubes and a ton of settings, you can make your tedious food chopping or puree a thing of the past in seconds! I had a smaller food processor made by a well known aid to kitchening, and the motor strength on this blows the old one out of the water! This has a substantial weight and just feels like they put a lot of effort into making a quality product. Like the appliances your grandparents owned, back when everything just works. Looks right at home next to my ninja Air Fryer. Definitely recommend this. It’s a complete kit with a remarkably tight footprint for countertops. Suction cups on the base prevent walking or tipping. Just incredibly well designed.

So we already have a kitchen full of Ninja Foodi devices and figured this would be a great addition. So when you get the packaging you will notice it’s pretty big and it is a big unit for sure but that makes it great for large batch prep which we love to do. Everything in the box is nicely labeled so it’s not intimidating if it’s your first time with a product like this. By the time you have put everything together you will have some familiarity with it. I love the way the blade storage works with this too, it’s such a neat setup and keeps everything. Safe. Those blades are super sharp so be careful. Using this is excellent. The auto IQ setting works really well and it’s so fast! It goes through veggies without breaking a sweat. It’s also nice that you can control the speed and run on low speed if needed. But it really does a great job when wanting to purée and you select the high setting. Slicing with this thing is also excellent. I’m not very good when it comes to slicing items by hand so this takes that away. It can slice so thinly and again extremely fast. These are the 2 main things we use this for and would imagine the other features will work just as well. When you see glow much this costs to some of the higher end devices you will see how this is a bargain. An absolute must buy

    First "big boy" Food Processor

So to be honest, this is the first time we've used a food processor like this. We've always just used the small choppers or the hand held ones that you have to crank...so to say I didn't know what to expect would be an understatement. With that said...this think is crazy good. It has power to spare. We didn't get a chance to use all of the blades that were provided but the 2 different choppers made short work of anything we put in there even carrots. I found that it is sturdier than I though it would be just by looking at it. The weight is distributed evenly and it vibrates but doesn't shake on the counter even at full speed. It is big, but I had nothing to compare it to before as I said this is the first I've used anything like this. I thought that is was great that it had an accessory storage box...it keeps everything together so you aren't having to dig through drawers. The buttons are responsive and everything worked as it should. Overall...I'm super impressed with this processor. I've quickly become a fan of Ninja products...I now have their foodi, this processor and their pans...all are top notch!

We primarily use food processors to shred blocks of cheese and the Ninja made extremely quick work of this! Additionally, the suction cups on the bottom were much more effective than processors we've had in the past. Attachments are what most FP users would desire, though we miss the capability to create noodles w/ a spiralizer or similar attachment; for the price I would expect something like this to also be part of the package. All components are dishwasher safe which makes cleanup a breeze for a busy family. The capacity of this unit is indeed Extra Large! At least 50% bigger than my previous processor which we bought years ago due to its size & capacity. This is most welcome when creating things like marinades, etc. where the liquid + ingredients is often more than traditional processors can handle, but you need to make a lot in order to have enough for what you're cooking. Previously we'd have to do 2 batches, etc. but no more with capacity of the Ninja XL! Overall, great unit esp if you have a lot of mouths to feed or make your meals in large quantities.

As an owner of many Ninja products, I was excited to get a chance to review the XL Food Processor. I have the Ninja Professional Plus Kitchen System with Auto-IQ, but this XL Food Processor does things that the Kitchen System doesn’t. I unboxed the system and it came out very nicely. The blades were wrapped and stored in the included storage case. The case holds the adjustable slicing and the reversible shredding discs as well as the dough blade. The chopping blade can stay in the processor bowl. The motor and bowl/lid came out in two parts, and it was just the need to put them together. Tada, ready to work. Well, I need to wash all the parts in hot water first and maybe run a cycle or two. Washing the discs/blades just takes caution as the many warnings labels on the unit state. Other than that, this beast is ready to make lots of little pieces out of one or a few big pieces. There are the four blades/discs as mentioned that will work with the four settings. The unit will chop like most food processors, makeup to 3 lbs. of dough in as little as 30 seconds, the discs that will shred cheese, potatoes, and slice vegetables like nothing. It will also puree, blending ingredients into dips, sauces, etc. Like my Kitchen System, this XL Food Processor also has the Auto-IQ programs. The slicing disk can slice from paper-thin to 8mm thick. The shredding disc cuts uniformly to make cooking a better experience, unlike other units that have inconsistent-sized pieces that affect cook times. Uniform cuts allow all pieces to heat up evenly, rather than some overcooked and others still raw. I haven’t tried the dough attachment, but it states that it can make dough up to 3 lbs. and/or mix several ingredients with an even consistency. Nothing like having chocolate chip cookies with one chip in a cookie and the next with a ton..right? The chute is well designed on the container. It features 3 sizes allowing the user to use the smallest opening needed. They had safety in mind when designing that feature. Removing all the chutes creates a pusher keeping hands safely away from the blades. Last comment about safety, cleaning the unit is done like most processors, just a drop or two of dish soap and warm water. Run the unit and the job is done. I let mine air dry, but if you chose, the bowl, blades, and discs are dishwasher safe. That’s about it. This processor is well designed, has plenty of power, and is as safe as can be with the many sharp attachments. The added free storage case is a welcome addition to my kitchen as many times, the extra attachments are difficult to find a home for. I’d recommend it to cooks and bakers that are looking for a well-made food processor that does several tasks in one unit.

This food processor is BIG. The bowl size is comparable to a bowl of a “family size” ice cream bowl. If you have a small kitchen, you should check the dimensions first before you buy because it would take a pretty good space from your kitchen countertop. If you are preparing food for a big family, I believe this food processor is big enough. The construction of the bowl is made from plastic. The same goes to the body of the motor in case you are wondering. It came with (2) types of disc blades one of these discs is reversible each face of the blade is used for different sizes of shredding. The second disc blade is a slicer. It also came with a metal blade for chopping and a blade for flour dough mixing. We made the broccoli cheddar soup recipe that was included in the recipe book that came with the unit. We shopped broccoli, shred carrots, and cheddar cheese. The machine performed well. I didn’t experience any issues. The shredding of the carrots and cheese looked very professionally shredded. The soup was delicious by the way. The unit also came with a plastic box to store the blades. There was a warning on the storage box that says “Careful blades are sharp” they said that for a reason. They are sharp. My wife cut her hand while cleaning one of the blades. Thank God it was just a tiny cut, nothing serious but you must be very careful when using this product. Regarding the operation of the unit is simple, most of the buttons are programmed for specific things ex. “chop” button is for chopping and “disc” button is for when you are using the discs either for shredding or slicing. You may be wondering if I recommend this product. I would say yes, I strongly recommend it if you are searching the market for a food processor.

The set is nice a great sturdy case for the attachments. The attachments work great and slices the vegetables and cheese with ease. Making homemade dip and hunmus is easier to make especially with the pre set buttons it runs at the right time and speed It has made majing coleslaw and other sliced and chopped salads with ease. We made a german style salad with sauerkrat and carrots the we used and was done quicker and did not even need ti use a cheese grater and saved some tear on my fingers. I am looking forward to making some bread dough or pizza dough with this as it runs quiet for a food processor and making vegtable platters with cutting cucumbers amd other vegtables for the platter is done with ease and if you have any issues with wanting slices the same size for the platters it will make it all the same. This machine will be staying out on the counter for the future as we make alot of chopped salads and other items that will be of use woth trying to eat healthier. I would recommend this product to my friends snd family if theybwere looking for one but be warn that the bowl amd and together are huge on the counter.
