Great product for the price. Didn't need a fancy laptop - just something to use daily for emails and budgeting, etc. Light and sleek - this laptop meets basic daily needs very nicely.

Bearing in mind that this is a very basic entry-level laptop, the performance of the HP dq3000dx was still a little disappointing for my needs. The price is very economical if you intend to use it for light tasks, like reading or sending an occasional email, or typing up a letter, or very light web surfing. I don’t recommend it for gaming or long video play because of the lagging and buffering I experienced. I’m sure the lag in overall performance is due to it only processing at 1.1 GHz and having 4GB of RAM, which isn’t that much in today’s world. Set up out of the box took about two and a half hours, but the majority of that time was updates installing. It comes with Windows S-mode, which I left alone instead of turning it off to be able to install other apps like I’d intended. I didn’t want to bog the system down any further. The white color of the casing is nice, and I like that the keyboard has a light wood grain look to it even though it’s plastic. I would prefer that the keyboard was backlit though because the keys are very difficult to see without light. I miss the numeric keypad also, but it didn’t surprise me that this laptop doesn’t have one. It’s great that HP included a USB C port, HDMI port, and an SD card slot in addition to the standard USB A ports and headphone jack. The laptop also comes with the typical HP power cord and port. Battery life seems to be averaging about 5-7 hours before needing a charge. I wasn’t able to get 12 hours of video playing like the specs say, but I’ll say that it has good battery life considering how slow the overall performance of the machine is. This laptop may be ideal for a younger child as a first computer or someone that may only need to get online periodically, but I don’t recommend it for anyone that doesn’t have a lot of patience.

This is a overall great laptop the battery last long and the performance is excellent for me as a college student is what I need.

I bought this laptop for basic tasks like browsing, email, and Zoom calls — and it does the job well. It’s compact, lightweight, and looks really clean in white. You won’t get high performance, but for students or travel use, it’s perfect. Battery life is decent too. Great value for the price.

Good for the price. Runs a little slower than other computers. Videos and pictures are a bit pixelated and blurry; not as clear as a MacBook. But decent for the price. Relatively easy to navigate. Works better once all updates have been completed. Has all the basic essentials.

Great need more storage and faster speed but over a great addition to my business.

I wanted a lighter laptop than the one I had. This one is fairly portable, a little slower than I'm used to, and I keep reaching for the number keys on the side that aren't there. The salesman said there's no possibility to add more memory. For the price I paid it's adequate for what I need--basically to travel and check email and surf the web.

I was going photograph a conference out of town, so I bought this primarily for the purpose of copying/transferring files from a photographic memory card to a portable hard drive in order to back up the images. The computer was cheaper than another 120 GB XQD card, and it allowed me at the same time the ability to upload the images for backing up online. I'm satisfied for the most part, but beyond what I used it for, it has very little space on its hard drive for any applications. After only a year of sporadic use, I found it to slow considerably for even the simplest of tasks. I've used it recently only to transfer terabytes of images from one hard drive to another, and occasionally for email or web browsing when I'm away from my desktop.

This computer is compatible for work from home, it’s easy to use, the battery life is amazing, I could days without charging it, I use this for school and it’s nice a lightweight for travel. The laptop is easy to use beginner friendly, and has all the nice little features you need!

I bought this HP Lap to work from home. I am using it for the last two weeks. Few things.... The color (white) and the design are beautiful and very sleek. I just love it . The performance is not bad at all, for this price i paid for this. Its is ideal for from home the capacity is not so great but I do not store any data on the device so storage is no problem for me. So far i am happy and would recommend this.

needed to replace old pc that was not upgradeable to the new Windows. just keep spreadsheets and do my taxes on pc. light and easy to use. have not really stress it much yet.

I had high hopes for this laptop because of the sleek design and affordable price, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge disappointment. From the moment I turned it on, it was incredibly slow—just booting up takes several minutes, and opening even basic apps like Chrome or Word feels like a chore. The Intel Celeron processor and 4GB RAM just aren’t enough for today’s basic computing needs. Even simple web browsing causes it to freeze or lag. With only 64GB of eMMC storage, Windows takes up most of the space right out of the box, leaving almost nothing for files or programs. Installing any updates pushes it to its limits. The laptop also gets noticeably warm and noisy during extended use, and battery life is mediocre at best. It feels outdated before you even start using it. I can't recommend this device for students, professionals, or even casual users. Bottom line: Spend a little more and get something actually functional. This laptop is underpowered and frustratingly slow. It’s just not worth the savings.

A great laptop overall. Bigger than I expected. Great battery life. Haven’t experienced any issues so far.
