Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the premium feel, amazing battery life, and responsive keys of the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard. Many appreciate its compact size, making it ideal for travel, and find it easy to use and connect to multiple devices. While some find the price a bit high, the positive feedback on the typing experience and features outweighs this concern for most users. The keyboard's weight is noted by some, but generally considered acceptable given its build quality.

The keyboard is a nice touch if you hate wires it gives you the chance to connect up to 4 screens and that so cool! i love the keyboard and it’s not nosy if you don’t want a loud keyboard, the battery last forever and i haven’t charged to since i got the keyboard, the keys also has a battery saver turns off when not in use …

Re-ignited my love of Mechanical Keyboards.

I love mech keyboards, particularly TKL and 75% keyboards. I do not love higher profile keyboards though and this fits the bill perfectly. I do wish the keys and switches were (more) replaceable. The spacebar and a few of the other keys are non-standard so they won't accept 3rd party low profile keycaps.

Keyboards are a touchy subject (no pun intended) as there is a huge community of enthusiasts out there. Can you get a board with better keycaps, switches, ergonomics, and battery life for the same price - sure. Even the multi-device support that Logitech used to have as an edge over other companies can now be had elsewhere. Even if it's not as unique as it once was, it's still a polished product that does it's job well - especially when paired with a Master or Anywhere mouse.

Decent keyboard especially for a on-the-go work and sometimes gaming. I found the brown switches were a little scratchy and would have just preferred to go with a full gaming KB. However as a working keyboard in general it’s great but not significantly better than normal membrane keyboard

Thanks for the feedback on the MX Mechanical Mini's brown switches. We offer various switch types – perhaps next time a linear or clicky option might be a better fit. Glad it's a great portable keyboard for work and occasional gaming!

    Near perfect compact keyboard

Excellent compact keyboard! I use my compact keyboard and mouse on a mousepad-covered 18in x 14in thin panel of wood placed on my lap. That way, I barely have to move my right hand to move between the keyboard and the mouse, and my arms are in a very natural position while working. I've been using compact membrane switch keyboards for decades because they had total width and key layout I prefer, whereas most out-of-the box mechanical keyboards (especially compact gaming keyboards like the Logitech - G PRO TKL Wired Mechanical) do not. I have been agonizing for years about which compact mechanical keyboard to buy because other offerings had keyboard dimensions that were a too wide due to positioning the arrow keys group to the right of all other keys (a waste of space IMO) or with key layouts that exclude the top row of function keys, separate the home/end or page up/down keys, or have the delete key somewhere other than the upper-right corner. Of course, these are all preferences, and those preferences could be addressed by building my own customizable keyboard from a kit. But it all seemed like too much work, especially when it came time to choose which key switch branch and type to use. This model's "tactile switch" variant is acceptably quiet and the typing experience is superior to that of the compact membrane switch keyboards I've been using for work all these years. My only substantive criticism is that this keyboard's USB-C connector can *only* be used for power not data, i.e. all keyboard data is transmitted wirelessly via bluetooth or the included mini-dongle. If I were a hyper-security wonk, the absence of a wired-only connection would be a deal breaker. If Logitech had merely supported a wired-only mode to this premium wireless keyboard, I would have said it was darn near perfect. Logitech, please support a wired-only mode (at least for PC/MAC via existing USB-C) on this wireless keyboard to attain perfection :)

Good enough feeling keyboard. I was just looking for a wireless 75% percent mechanical keyboard thats in a slim form factor and this seemed to fit the bill the best. I wish it was hotswappable keys but at this profile there aren't really many keys to switch it out with anyways. The tactile switches I'll say are not that tactile really. But i'm also coming from holy pandas and halo trues so no slim keyboard will compare to those. Battery life so far has been amazing with the backlight off/

This is an excellent keyboard! It is the tactile model, and it has a great feel to it. I had looked at the Logitech MX Keys advanced, and did not like the feel of the keys. The MX Mechanical is the best keyboard I have ever owned. If you are on the fence, go try them at Best Buy. I am sure you will pick the MX Mechanical.

Excellent keyboard alternative to magic keyboard

I've never found the magic keyboard to be particularly great at being anything other than slim. Using an iMac pro i could only get the full size keyboard with number pad in space grey, but i rarely used the number pad. This Logitech keyboard allows me to have the best of both worlds from a productivity and aesthetic perspective. My biggest issue is my mac does not seem to recognize the keyboard after a restart while the drive is locked. I need to get out my magic keyboard and enter my password to unlock, then can go back to using the Logitech which is pretty inconvenient!

Got this to downgrade from a big ol' k100 from Corsair. Good wireless and love the low profile keys and form factor. Using it for my TV pc and i love it for multimedia, general Internet use, and even for gaming (although the low profiles require getting used to for gaming)

Great keyboard but what makes it really good is to use it with the MX Mouse. I have a MAC and a PC and I just have to move my mouse from the MAC to the PC and the keyboard automatically moves with it. SO one keyboard and mouse with no need for KVM switches ot anything. As a keyboard it is a good mechanical keyboard with a number of setup features. I just wish they had a Linux app for it so I could connect to that too.

Maybe I didn't do enough research, but glad this wasn't an extravagant price tag. I knew mechanical would add the clicky feel and sound, but this was supposed to be the fairly quiet one. Nope. Too loud. Also, I thought "FLOW" would work, which I use with the MX Master 3s. Nope. Mini, I thought it would be a lower profile. Nope, it's pretty thick. All that said I don't hate it, I guess I expected to love it as a travel companion with 2 Surface Pro 9s. PS I have been using the Sig Flex keyboard with the SP9s, which are amazing now they are functional while detached. The Logi mini was supposed to be more pleasant to use, flow from one to the other like the mouse, etc. Thus falls short of what I would give 5 stars, and if I keep typing here I think I'll have blisters on my fingertips within the hour.

It has been really nice and comfortable to use the quick sound is not annoying and the keys are really comfortable, plus features on this keyboard that have been really convenient for my workplace would definitely buy again if this one God forbid were to ever break.
