    My shark always fell over when using the hose. The dyson keeps upright.The suction seems better as well. I love all the attachments.

    This is our 2nd Dyson Animal vacuum and it's better than the first. The smaller brush head makes it easier to maneuver around tight spaces. Our dogs are also enjoying the brush attachment.

    Very strong suction but cannot use it to vacuum throw rugs or any mat. The hose and pipe to use the tools is very stiff and not flexible - it limits movement.

Thank you for sharing your review with us, as well as for letting us know you're having some trouble pushing your new machine on throw rugs or floor mats. This model does have very powerful suction, and a self-adjusting cleaner head which automatically raises and lowers to seal in suction across all floor types. The drawback to this is that the suction is SO strong, that it can cause the issue you are reporting here. We'd be happy to help troubleshoot and look into options for you.
