This is a low-powered laptop across the board. It has a bottom-of-the-bin CPU, only 4GB of non-upgradable RAM, and just 64GB of storage included. It was also available for just $99 during Black Friday sales, so given that it's tough to complain too much about it. As long as you're not asking a lot, this laptop will be fine. I needed a cheap, silent computer to use in a recording booth, and for that purpose this works perfectly. It runs the recording software I need without any issues. If you're just doing things like browsing the internet and writing school papers this will be fine. It will actually probably be a step up over a school-issued Chromebook, because of the additional flexibility that Windows offers. Just don't set your hopes too high. This is not for playing games. It's not for editing videos. It's not for digital art. I'm recording audio to it, but I wouldn't use it for mixing. It's for basic consumption and that's about it. If that's what you need, then go for it. For this price, it's tough to beat.

I like it so far, got it at a good deal, inexpensive, it runs good works good, good speed, WiFi work good, I am glad I got it before the holiday rush. Good value for the money I say. You can’t beat this deal of a good price. Good quality, it is awesome. It’s a good starter computer. Good sceeen size. I purchased this for personal use for me. It is not good to see these bad reviews of a nice laptop for a low price. A good basic laptop for browsing, streaming, etc. so far I’m starting to like Lenovo as this is a good laptop. This laptop fot my budget. I’m glad I find the perfect laptop.

I got this laptop for $100, This is my second year using just for my school. I like it cz it just do the job. Speed is not bad. I'm very forget full and if i broke it i wont loose much money than buying a expensive laptop. The battery is still doing good. I'm very surprised. Recommend for students.

It feels light yet solid and has a nice overall look and it has all the typical connection ports for a laptop this size. The screen is fairly bright and has a good picture quality. Excellent laptop for all tasks except gaming and encoding. It’s important to remember the value of a budget laptop and keep realistic expectations. It did slow down a little after the updates and once it was removed from S mode. I recommend removing all of the bloat ware and switching from eco to performance mode to restore some speed. The battery seems to hold charge really well. Overall it’s a great laptop for productivity as long as you don’t use it with resource heavy programs.

I bought two of this Lenovo laptop for both of my kids to finish their careers online and it turned out amazing. The speed is perfect. It’s lightweight it fits in a backpack and it’s very convenient to use. Take one home today you won’t regret it. Both my kids graduated to become a criminal justice and medical assistant Im so proud of them.

Love the size…not having to drag my bigger laptop around…does everything I need it to do when I am out and about. Great value for the money!

Great laptop I've had it for 2 years and it been great. I'm using it now to make my review.

Sometimes i need to provide a computer to my co-workers or use a computer in not so good conditions. So in order to save my own computer this is a very good option. Not so powerful, not so fast but reliable for basic things and the price/performance rate is very good. It is very light and has a small charger that makes it easy to carry. I don't like any Lenovo laptops keyboard and that's the con for me. Btw it is very easy to get rid of S mode...

I purchased this for it's smaller size and portability for gaming. I also watch Netflix, and YouTube on a regular basis using this device. I have removed S Mode but only install games direct to my external Seagate FireCuda SSD. I don't download anything unless it is available from Microsoft Store. I'm into classic gaming. I've played these so far on this device Doom, Doom II, Quake, Fallout, Civilization III, Warcraft II, and Diablo. They all run flawlessly on this laptop. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It does everything I want. It has a Celeron N4020 with 4G of Ram on board graphics. One should keep expectations in check. It certainly won't play the latest of games. If you think you are going to play Cyberpunk you certainly will get punked it's not happening. Microsoft Flight Simulator will not take flight either. Games that have minimum spec requirements lower than this laptops will likely play at low settings. I highly recommend this laptop for classic gaming on the go.

I use this computer for writing, internet purchases, and YouTube. I don't game on this computer or watch movie apps on this device. Don't expect a top of the line performance from a budget device. This is a great on the go device for journalists, students, entry level professionals, or bloggers. You will need to invest in a memory card or a portable hard drive. The memory space is not enough for any user.

Compact and versatile. Not the fastest laptop but meets my needs and very reasonably priced. Using office as well scanning software on it.

Things are a little different since the last laptop I purchased was 6 yrs ago, otherwise this does the job. So far so good. Loads fast. Large keys for this size laptop. Easy set up.

It seems the other commenters pretty much covered everything except one thing which I will mention here that is a dealbreaker for me had I known ahead of time. I didn’t want to end up with another Lenovo, but this was cheap and I bought this as an emergency for Microsoft office use mainly because my other Lenovo (Yoga C740) broke due to the crap material it’s made out of where the frame easily bends. This causes the power to shut on and off whenever I move in the slightest. Onto this new laptop- The screen on this is the equivalent of a CRT monitor or a really old laptop from 10+ years ago. I have attached a comparison of both of my Lenovos and the differences in the screens. The left is this laptop with the brightness all the way up and nothing else in the settings could get it to what new laptop displays look like nowadays. If that kind of thing doesn’t bother you and you only need this for minimal use such as Microsoft office or tv/movie streaming, I’d say this is a good buy.

This is the best laptop I've ever purchased so good and I can play on it all day without getting hot hot And the charger stays so good all day and I literally use it all day long everyday for school work for work and even my brother play games on it and it's still good that's the best purchase ever
