Had to replace my old G502 Lightspeed, and this one is such an improvement! It's a little lighter, but i can't feel a huge difference, the clicks feel crisp and light, the scroll wheel is really responsive and I get to use my charging mousepad! I'm still figuring out how to pair it directly to my mousepad receiver, but I'll figure it out. My only gripe is that it doesnt have lights like my old mouse, but its just a preference that I could live without. Now i have a mouse that matches my keyboard and I couldn't be happier!

I've had the G502 original wired for years. I've always been a fan of the shape and palm feel and has enough extra buttons for me. It's also been reliable for these 5 plus years. So even though it still works, I decided to hop on the wireless train because I was a bit tired of the wired getting caught. This is a game changer for me. The response time is even better than my old one and it's a lot lighter to easier to maneuver. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

I've been using various different versions of G502 for many years, both at home and at work, and decided it was finally time to cut the cord. It's every bit as good as every other version of this mouse I've used, with no discernible latency, custom sensitivity settings, all the buttons I'm used to. No complaints, with the minor exception that it's a bit pricey.

Absolutely one of the best. Hyperscroll wheel is my favorite feature. And the Logitech G software pairs really well. A Lot of customizations are possible with that. This certainly improves productivity.

The OG G502 and the G502 Lightspeed are my favorite mice of all time. They performed well for most games in my experience and for general use. Extremely comfortable, conformed to my grip and hand size perfectly, and durable for the most part. I really loved the free scrolling wheel as well as it was useful for many things. The main flaw with those mice however, was that they were prone to double clicking due to the switches Logitech used at the time. For this mouse, Logitech changed the switches being used in M1 and M2, so double clicking should no longer be an issue. Though compared to the G502/LS, the mouse clicks feel a bit hollow and have slightly more travel. It's also a bit lighter which I definitely appreciate, but feels a little wider which could either be a pro or a con depending on your grip and hand size. It retains the free scroll wheel and the overall performance of this mouse is great. The new sensor is very accurate and the battery life is great especially with this being the non-rgb version. Overall, this is a worthy successor to the G502/LS. Improvements have been made while retaining the qualities that made the G502/LS awesome mice in the first place.

Great update on a legendary model!

I've been daily driving this mouse for the past month now, and it's been an amazing upgrade from my G900 and G502 (OG wired model). This update to the legendary G502 retains the grip and feel of the original, while improving the edges and style to make it more modern and comfortable. They also added some much needed features like the inclusion of a Type-C connector at the front instead of Micro, and the ability to change the reach on the SHIFT button (you could also remove it entirely). The material they used on the side grips and wheel, feels excellent with very subtle texture. The new switches the used for the left and right click are very noisy, but provide great feedback and have a heavier click to them than most mice, this may be a pro or con to some. Battery life is just hands down the best! I use this for gaming and photo editing about 4-5 hours a day, and charge it only once a week at most. This fact is well worth losing the lighting effects, though the status LED on the front is a little too out of view and would have been nice to have it near the G logo. New feet for super slick movement regardless of surface material! On top of that, the mouse is fairly light for being full featured and wireless without feeling cheap or fragile. In summery, this is a solid upgrade to the G502, and the loss of RGB lighting is made up by the fact the battery lasts more than a week with moderate use, and you get a sweet discount. If you absolutely need RGB in your life, the G502 X Plus is the exact same, just with lights! Pros: -Lightweight -Slick feet -Reactive sensor and main mouse switches -It has a freewheel scroll wheel -Fantastic battery life -USB C port for charging and tethering -Comes with a dongle extension cable Neutral: -Main mouse buttons take more effort to press in -No RGB lights beyond the status light Cons: -No ability to add weight to the mouse for people who like a heavier mouse -Software is 'meh' at times -Status light is in the front on top, but is slightly obscured due to the downward curve of the mouse -Main switches are noisy

Great mouse hardware, annoying required software

Logitech has a theme: they make great hardware that on its own is an excellent value and could be best in the industry, but gaming hardware requires software as part of its intended use, and Logitech G HUB is not the same quality as their hardware. This mouse on its own is an excellent piece of hardware. Logitech managed to make a high performance wireless gaming mouse that is actually noticeably lighter than their previous generation wired mouse. I can't say if that affects the battery life because I've used it with a charging mat and never charged it. They got the balance perfect. The scroll wheel is an improvement over the old metal scroll wheel, and I prefer the physical release button to switch between click and free scroll over Razer's electronic release. Using this mouse feels like the old G502 Hero, but a little better. Everything fall apart when you start using the software, though. G Hub is just a pain to use, unless you only ever play one game. But if you're like me and you like to play new games somewhat regularly, you will have to set up a new game profile EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. As much flack as Razer gets for Synapse, they did this right. You can set up a few profiles and add as many games as you want to those few profiles, and they sync across computers, so if you have a desktop and a laptop, they both work the same way. G HUB requires you to create an individual profile for each game. Technically, you can copy a profile from one game to another, but it isn't a straightforward process, and there is nothing in G HUB to indicate that it is even possible. I had to find someone on the internet to describe the process. PLEASE Logitech, invest some more of your resources in making G HUB the gaming software worthy of your hardware, and you'll have a loyal customer for life.

I had the original G502 and this is massive improvement in any way. I love that it’s lighter, has Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless connection, and mostly the same form factor to the original. If you like the G502 and need an upgrade, I say don’t hesitate and get this one. Pay attention when buying as there is a version with rgb that costs more. If that’s your thing, go for, but the rgb would be under your palm.

I wasn't sure if there would be a noticeable difference in performance over my 502 Lightspeed. However, the battery life alone makes this purchase worthwhile, as the Lightspeed would barely make it through a single day and I'm receiving several days of use with a single charge on the 502X. Not to mention the updated ergonomics and reduced weight make this mouse a dream to use.

This form factor for this mouse has been my favorite over the years. This G502 is my favorite so far I always rebind the DPI Shift button (thumb) to CTRL. The DPI Shift button is more comfortable to use than the previous mice. You can use the OMM (Onboard Memory Manager portable software) to setup the mouse and never need to install any mouse software and have it running all the time. This mouse has a better battery life than the previous Lightspeed version. I hope they never stop making this form factor.

I've had an older version of the G502 for many years, so I was really excited to upgrade to this one. So far it's been great. I'm not a gamer, but I do many Excel-related things for work, so I mapped the buttons to help me with my tasks at work. The mouse has a good weight and is easy to pack in a bag to take to the office. I would highly recommend this mouse
