A Nice Upgrade From Old Design, Still Great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original G502 was, and still is, a great mouse. However, it's design is quite familiar by now. Also, while I haven't had this issue, the G502 seems to have lower quality switches which can fail prematurely. While this can be fixed, it's an involved process which requires taking the mouse apart and soldering new switches. It's relatively high weight is also worth noting, especially with today's super lightweight mice. Also, huge props to Logitech for not putting "Pro" anywhere in the name, that's a silly trend that needs to go away. This newer model addresses most of these issues. It has an updated design, new switches, and it sheds quite some weight too. As for comfort, the new 502 is a little bit lower, and a little bit longer. I've always felt that the old 502 was a tad too small, and while the G502 X isn't significantly larger, the tiny bit of extra length (settle down) makes it feel a bit nicer, a small but very welcome improvement. Tracking is the same, which means it's really good. The buttons also feel great to me. The new switches are an optical switch, so they should last way longer than the old switches. All the buttons feel very similar in terms of placement, and they're all about as easy to hit as on the old design. The large button on the thumb rest can also be customized. You can flip it one way or the other. On one orientation its about as easy to hit as on the old design, and the other orientation is much easier to hit. You can also just block it off with a little rubber piece if you don't want it. The only thing I really don't like much is the scroll wheel. It just feels a bit cheap and rattly and reminds me of the scroll wheel on crappy e-waste grade mice. To be clear, it's not awful or anything, but its definitely not nice. I wish they would've used the scroll wheel from the MX Master, but that'd probably be pretty heavy. Speaking of weight, I was never bothered by the 121 gram weight of the old design. At 106 grams, the G502 X Plus is lighter than the old one, but not by much, and it's still not light. If you want a super light mouse, maybe get the corded version (89 g) or just get another mouse. If you're not too bothered, this is an excellent choice. From an aesthetic perspective, the mouse looks very good, it's a modern design that's not bland, but not overly aggressive either. The RGB strip has 8 zones so you can really customize it, you can even crate your own animations. Sadly, it's only available on the top tier G502 X Plus. The wired version doesn't have any RGB, which is a missed opportunity in my opinion. Also, while you can get up to 120 hrs of use on a single charge, it goes down to about 40 with RGB on, which is actually a downgrade from the 60 hours on the old G502 Lightspeed with RGB enabled. I still prefer the extra customization of the LED strip vs the boring single LED on the old design, so I'll happily sacrifice some battery for the much better looks. Also, it now comes in white too (Thank you Logitech!) Just like the old design, the new 502 supports Power Play. It also has USB C charging, and you can use any cable. The older G502 Lightspeed had its ancient Micro USB port buried inside a tiny hole, meaning many cables wouldn't fit, at least not without shaving the connector down with a knife. If you want to change your DPI on the fly with the buttons, the LED strip just changes colors, whereas the old design had 3 LEDs which were easier to interpret. Also, you don't have the ability to add weights like on the old mouse. Personally I don't change DPI on the fly and never used the adjustable weights, so losing these features isn't an issue for me. In conclusion: If you already have a G502, this is a small incremental upgrade. The biggest change is the looks, and a somewhat lighter weight. If you don't care too much about either, you can safely skip this model and stick to your old G502. But if you care about looks as well, or if you're looking for a new mouse, the G502 X is a great choice and I don't see much reason to get it over the old G502, except for maybe price. Aside from the scroll wheel and maybe battery, everything about it is better.

Rehauled G.O.A.T
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had multiple 502s in my time, 502 inspired designed mice as well as Logitech mice in general. My biggest beef with Logitech has been the unfortunate double click issues that plague their mice BUT I think we finally have the fix with these new switches! This mouse looks FANTASTIC in the white colorway and it will also help keep it looking nicer longer vs the way oils create a shine in black MnK even with cleaning! IT feels great in the hand and looks great too! It has customizable RGB zones and custom hot keys that you can setup within the G-Hub app! If you want even more battery life at the expense of RGB you can disable the RGB altogether and get almost 140 hours out of one charge! Speaking of charge this mouse has USB-C charging so it charges back up very fast! The connection has always been solid with the USB transmitter. I have never had it lag or dropout on me once since owning it. The buttons are very nice and responsive and I have had no experience of double clicks or misclicks. The scroll wheel is the classic two style that the 502 has always had giving you the option to make it infinite scroll if you enjoy that. The side button can be customized to your like by being able to rotate it or put a flat dummy cover on it which is a nice feature! If you have been looking for an excuse to get another 502 for the collection or need a new mouse I can highly recommend this one!

Amazing Wireless Mouse
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it. Switched from the razer basilisk and I have 0 regrets. Everything about this mouse is just quality and comfort. I am a small content creator so I always have to think about comfort when choosing a mouse I have to use for more than half of my day everyday (no I am not sponsored). This mouse is the definition of comfort. It fits perfectly in my hand. The mouse has a little weight to it but not enough to break my hand off. The 2 side buttons are satisfying to click. The middle mouse button setting is just perfect to have in a certain situation you might encounter. I charged this mouse to 100% the first day I got it, 6 days ago, and have been using it non stop since then and I have yet to charge it again. With rgb on by the way. The battery is a beast. A quality product Logitech has. And with a fair price of only $130 (I had it on sale) it is a no brainer to purchase. Even at its original $160 price range it is still worth every penny. Don’t overthink it when getting this mouse. Buy it if you can.

GET THIS MOUSE
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is super responsive, so fast and sets up in a second! I love it. The rechargeable battery is a game changer. If you are buying the keyboard though you need a sub dongle because the keyboard and mouse do not use the same usb controller- not an issue for me.

I never knew mouse had so many features
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went with this mouse in my office upgrade replacing the Microsoft Arc. I am not a mouse expert by any means and using it for heavy productivity work mainly. It feels good, looks stylish with the RGB lighting, and the adjustable settings via the G Hub app makes it very customizable. I found the app a bit comprehensive at first, but after a little research I was able to at least figure out how to change the lights, speed, etc. The mouse has 0 lag at all and very responsive. There are so many additional features and options that I have not tried yet (or needed yet), so I will have to explore more. All in all I am happy with the purchase. If I ever get into gaming or a task which would unlock its maximum performance I will be prepared. To me a mouse is all about comfort, and performance (no lag and responsive). There may be alternatives out there that achieve this for less, but if this one feels good don't hesitate as the performance is solid.

Good mouse for gaming and working.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The shape is very similar to the classic G502, so you will have no issue getting used to it if you like this shape. Lighting effect is very fun as it animates in full RGB. It can be turned off to save battery life. No issues with connectivity and sensors. Weight is heavier than G Pro, but much lighter than previous G502s. For working, the infinite scroll wheel is essential.

Long time G502 user
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I been using G502 since the original design and had owned every model throughout the year and feel confident enough to say this the best model hand down with the exception of price. So this compared great to previous G502 model and will be refresh to g502 user yet how this compare to other mouse in the same price range (Razer Basilisk V3 Pro) this will come down to preference mostly as there a lot of similarity in this two (Ergonomics, scrolls wheels side buttons) yet there Bluetooth connectivity offered in the Razer product and not on the Logitech. Can I recommend this product? Yes, I stand behind the new G502 x Plus, specially if you like the ergonomics good wireless performance and battery life from the previous model.

Great mouse for all uses, insanely comfortaor.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse, insanely responsive, and very comfortable in hand. The only problem is that it feels so nice and its cost makes it hard to bring anywhere in fear of damage. Must have port to plug into even with the wired/wireless feature but not a problem as you can get port hubs for very very cheap online. All together it’s a bit much yes, but it is a great mouse and will out live its cost better than most mice. My favorite I’ve ever gotten by far.

10/10 would recommend. G502 lover happy once again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from 5 years of old g502 to the Razer basilisk v3 (because similar form factor) because it was like an updated g502. Then I saw this come out and it was a big jump. Never had gone wireless before. Never looking back! This is the best mouse ive ever owned! 10/10 Would highly recommend! If you like the slightly heavier mouses instead of those super light ones like I do. Then I can assure you you’ll like this. It’s not too heavy and not too light. It’s perfect. Amazing redesign of the best mouse ever IMO.

Its great! But...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -the cursor speed selections are great! -momentary switch to limit the speed of the cursor for precise movements when needed. This is a nice feature -selection of LED colors/presets. Awesome! -scroll wheel is selectable normal/unlimited scroll. Sweet! -powerplay ready: amazing! Cons: -the scroll wheel selector button feels cheap (especially the price). best comparison is "like selecting a gear a manual transmission car". This is highly noticeable if you are constantly using the feature. Pressing the selector to activate, you can feel mechanical parts inside the mouse fighting eachother, possibly causing premature wear. Comments: This is a great mouse, pricey but it stands apart from the standard. I know it ia tailored to gaming, but such a small thing like the button feel (and I'll repeat, feels like "mechanical parts... fighting eachother") really takes away from the premuim feel of this mouse. Its a button that will be used a fraction of the times as all other buttons on that mouse, but it should work smoothly.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this after my Logitech G703 died on me. This new mouse is comfortable to game with. Easy glide and fits the palm well. The scroll is nice, took me some time to get use to. Its very responsive when you are clicking and aiming a target. To Buy or Not To Buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That is the question. Real talk. This mouse was worth buying. I transferred from a G203 LightSync suffering from double clicking on a single click and said screw it, my birthday is coming up soon and I might as well get another thing. I recently started college and have been taking this mouse from my desktop to college, and all I gotta do is plug in the little adapter, switch the mouse on and that's it. Having more buttons for different assignments is cool too. The mouse also has a removable magnetic cover with the logo to store the adapter in, now that's portability. Battery-wise, I usually spend long hours playing games, and this keeps up perfectly. Charge it like once a week, reasonable longevity. Depends on RGB and all that though so. Has little plastic strips or whatever on the bottom that makes it smoothly move on a mousepad. I'm currently looking for another one, maybe I'll get mouse mat imstead of a pad... I'm satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend this mouse, however, it's on the more expensive side, I advise witing for it to get a nice discount is advisable.

I am incapable of buying a different mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good quality mouse. Basically the same as the g502 lightspeed but much lighter, and the rubbers on the current lineup are of a good quality. Good switches too. The only reason I'm buying this model again is because the battery in mine stopped working after 2 years and I was extremely aggressive with it. I'll try to treat this one a bit nicer this time :) The ergonomics on the g502 are great and I've used pretty much all of the side keys for years now. Its pretty expensive, could be a bit cheaper, but I absolutely love using it.
