A great combination of kitchen tools. Powerful and easy to handle and use. Really like having one power unit to use for several attachments.

This hand held power mixer is super convenient, durable, easy to store and clean, with good attachments and features. Besides creating silky smooth sauces, smoothies and soups, it can very well be used for making cookie dough and cake batters. I use it for my DIY lotion / emulsions recipes as well. It has a smooth stainless steel and plastic finish, with sturdy blender, attachments and a jar.The release button removes the attachment easily from the motor base and there is also one that removes the beaters from the mixer so no need to twist the attachments apart. The motor base has an arrow to help align the mixer or blending arm attachment while assembling. For a small quantity, one can blend directly in the jar provided. It has a pouring spout and comes with a storage lid. Both the jar and lid are dishwasher-safe. The immersion design makes it easy to hold the blender into a deep pot to blend family sized recipes with a wide variety of ingredients. The result is a very smooth puree. The main problem is that it can splatter quite a bit depending upon the container you are blending in. It works better with my deeper pots when making soups, sauces and gravies, but any smaller pot leaves a splatter all around. The Turbo mode is quite a bit faster than the regular blending mode, giving a burst of speed to get the smoothest texture. Although it is difficult to always press on the turbo button while mixing. It needs to just be a button that one can press, so it can hold itself. The motor feels rather heavy when you attach the handle to it. The handle is weightless so when you add it to the motor, it feels bottom heavy, but this is not very inconvenient. With the mixer attachment, one can choose from many different speed settings. Again, all the attachments are dishwasher safe, making the clean up a breeze. Even though it’s a powerful mixer it’s not loud. Overall, this is a good power blender with minor flaws, but will make a wonderful gift and a great addition to any kitchen.

This package comes with the power base that functions as a stick hand blender or with the handle attachment to convert to a regular hand mixer with two traditional beaters, whisk (my wrist saver!), and a blending vessel. Also includes a quick start guide and recipe book. Easy to store and easy to clean as all attachments are dishwasher safe (excluding the power base and handle, of course)! For the hand mixer function, there are 5 mixing speeds that are adjustable using up and down arrow buttons. It's going to take some time for me to like the idea of the buttons instead of the speed switch I've been comfortable and familiar with, but I don't think it will be an issue. There is a turbo option that I haven't had the chance to use yet. So far I've used the mixer to make a few cakes and some chocolate chip cookies. The speed settings start out pretty slow which is nice to start out since I tend to get a powder puff if I'm not careful to pre stir before turning on the first speed setting of my old mixer, this has the perfect starting speed. The speeds and power behind this thing was more than enough to tackle my cookie dough with easy. The whisk attachment is very useful and will be saving my wrist in future food prep :) For the stick blender function, there are 2 blending speeds for normal and turbo. Useful for bending smoothies, pureeing soup, etc. The 3 cup blending vessel is convenient to start blending smoothies! I blended a strawberry and kiwi smoothie with easy and less mess than a traditional blender. Now I just need to go to the store and get more fruit! Overall the device is easy to use, easy to clean, lightweight, and very useful for any kitchen!

This review is specific to the immersion blender attachment. So far I have used this to make potato and leek soup as well as pasta sauce. In the soup I left on the potato skins and in the soup I used sundried tomatoes which reconstituted in the sauce. In both instances I was left with a perfectly textured soup as well as a thick and flavorful sauce. Having the ability to mix both of these boiling hot and in the pan made life so much easier as I wasn't worried about putting to much soup in the blender, an explosion or clean up afterward. The immersion wand easily attaches and was easily removed and cleaned in the dishwasher after. The unit itself is small and easily yielded during use. Although I did not use the other attachments just yet I did assemble them and cannot wait to use them for mixing. The handle attachment makes this thing feel like a little transformer and something I will be able to use for so many different dishes from baking to cooking. Putting it all together was easy and the only time I felt unsure was for the whisk, which you can put into either of the available slots. Overall this gadget can do so much and takes up such little space I am more than pleased with it.

I am a fan all all kitchen things "ninja" and this combo mixer/blender does not disappoint!. The box was securely packed and upon opening, the flaps, as always, give you more information, including how to access the manual and available accessories. When I saw dough hooks, I was intrigued! The base works for both the hand mixer and the immersion blender. Connecting either working end is quite easy, but very secure. I tried the immersion blender first. I pressure cooked a rump roast with carmelized onions. After letting the roast natural pressure release, I placed in on a platter and used the immersion blender in the juices which included the onions and garlic. The immersion blender quickly pulverized and homogenized the gravy. While still on, I drizzle in some corn starch water and , presto!, instant gravy. I will note that the immersion blender has two speeds-- regular and turbo. Holding the blender in my hand, accessing the buttons with my thumb felt very natural. Finally, the blender was easy to wash, but we aware of sharp edges! I used the mixer attachment to make pancakes, using the regular beater attachments. I will note that thise attachments have some extra curves compared to old-style ones in my 1990s mixer. When you attach the mixer to the base, it seems really long and heavy, but actually it keeps the cord away from the bowl! And, while heavier than aforementioned 90s model, this Ninja is weight balanced, so it does not seem too heavy. By the way, the pancake mix and water (I used complete mix), were combined and fluffed in about 45 seconds. Perfect! The final thing I would mention is the quality of the materials. The cord is heavy and thick, indicating it will carry a higher load without fraying. This also makes it a bit stiff, but you can counteract that by folding the cord in foot-long sections. Do not 'coil' the cord around the base as this will result in a spiral that will probably get in your way and be aggravating! The cookbook that came with the appliance is actually useful, containing recipes that many cooks would create, including potato soup, tomato soup, quiche, cupcakes and mojitos! Finally, this is not a full-size stand mixer or giant blender! This is designed for those smaller jobs, like whipping one cup of cream, not a quart. I am storing most of my power mix system in a drawer. I am looking forward to ordering the dough hooks and the chopper attachment. A little fresh pico de gallo goes with anything!

The Ninja Foodie Power Mixer System is a versatile, powerful, and beautifully designed kitchen appliance. In the box you get the power base, immersion blender attachment, mixer attachment, 2 beaters, 1 whisk, a 3 cup blending container, a quick start guide, and a recipe book which also explains how and when to use each attachment. There is a QR code on the power base which will direct you to an instruction manual, quick start guide, recipe book frequently asked questions and registration. But missing from this model is the chopper attachment. This is unfortunate as this may have ended up being the most useful accessory for me. I don’t know how much that accessory will cost as an option, but I’m sure it’s more than if it were included in this package, even at additional cost. I would imagine that the great majority of people buying this would want the chopper accessory. I am deducting 1 star for this omission from what would otherwise be a solid 5 star product. Also not included, is a storage bag. Other products of this type, even less expensive ones usually include a storage bag. Out of the box the first thing you notice is how attractive this is with a matte black finish and metal accents. The power base has enough weight to exude quality, yet it is so well designed that it is comfortable to hold, and so well balanced when attached to the mixer attachment or the immersion blender. Definitely no hand fatigue when using. The power base has an on/off button and a turbo button for extra power. The mixer attachment has buttons for power, turbo, increase and decrease speed, and an eject button. All attachments are easy to install and uninstall. This is very powerful with 750 watt peak output, yet it was quieter than expected. In fact it was exactly twice as powerful as the product we were using, which this is replacing. We tried whipping egg whites and blending cake and pancake batters, all performed perfectly. The immersion blender was used in the preparation of soup, and again, it performed as expected with no issues. Cleanup was quick and easy. Just wipe the power base and mixer attachment with a moist towel. The rest of the attachments can go in the dishwasher. Overall, you will definitely be pleased, with the look, feel and performance of the Ninja Foodi Power Mixer System. However, you may be disappointed, as I was, that the food chopper attachment is not included in this package.

The Ninja Foodi Power Mixer System is very good with a few irritating features. Like all Nija products the build quality is excellent. The power base is interchangable between the appliances. The hand mixer worked very well. It comes with two sets of attachments. It has beaters and a whisk. Both do a great job. The power base is attached to the hand mixer and feels comfortable in my hand. The control buttons are in a good spot on the top of the handle. They are easy to the touch. There are 5 mixing speeds you can activate as you go. Hold the turbo and the motor jumps right up to the 5th speed. The turbo speed is very effective. The peak wattage is said to be 750 watts which makes doing the task quite effective. Press a button and the attachment easily releases We really liked the hand mixer. Some models come with a dough hook. Mine did not. I wish it did as I would like to try that. My feeling is it would work very well because there is ample speed to do that type of mixing. The immersion blender attachment works in 2 modes. A power on and a turbo. Here is where we had a few problems. Like with the hand mixer the shared power base is attached to the blender atttachment. First, no matter what you do the blender splashes content. We set the blender deep in the bowl and higher in the bowl and we got splatter and this happened in the regular speed mode as well as the turbo mode. I am not sure if it is a design flaw or if the speed itself is the root cause. Either way it is frustrating. The other annoyance when using the blender attachment is how you activate the turbo mode. You have to hold down the power button and the turbo while controlling the blender. It is not the most comfortable application. The power button should be off/on not hold on. Doing it that way would then require only 1 hand to activate turbo mode while working to keep the content in the bowl or cup. My unit came with a 3 cup blendimg cup. Overall, Ninja has a very good product here. With a few modifications it would rate 5 stars.

Ninja has done it again to replace more and more of my kitchen appliances. The power mixer system very versatile and easy to use. In the box is a hefty (but not to heavy) power base, blender and mixer attachments, the usual literature, a mini recipe book to get you started and many add-ons. 750w power output, turbo option, and 2 speed settings will easily whip or blend whatever you decide to throw at it. Attachments are super easy to switch out if doing multiple foods. Clean up is a breeze and if you prefer, the attachments can go into the dishwasher. My 1st attempt was to make a creamy tomato soup from scratch and it came out really great. Probably took me maybe 7-10 minutes max with the Foodi Power Mix System from start to finish. After that I have used it to make cookie dough to bake and also whip up eggs with no effort at all. Portable, powerful and super convenient to move around with. You can probably take this on a trip if you like. Ninja loves to make kitchen accessories that are top notch and this is no exception.

​I acquired this stick mixer/hand mixer to travel with. I just returned from a vacation in a condo with my sister who's a baker and realized I’d missed an opportunity. To get her to bake for us! The condo had a blender but no mixer. And come to think about it, last Thanksgiving we were on vacation in a condo and I wanted to make mashed potatoes. Had to go out and get a hand smasher, that didn’t work very well. Anyway, it occurred to me that we stay in condos, that we usually drive to, on vacation pretty frequently. Having a hand mixer/immersion blender with us would really help out in the kitchen. My wife reminded me that we have a rechargeable stick blender in the pantry. I got it out and realized how weak it was, it could barely froth coffee. Now I know why it was in the pantry gathering dust. This Ninja combination hand mixer/stick blender has a clever 750 watt motor. I say clever because it starts up slowly, not an immediate burst. This does a great job of preventing splashing. It has a whipping wand and 2 beaters. The whipping wand is a much softer metal with the hand whip, I initially used it to make pudding, and in under a minute the pudding and 2 cups of milk were whipped to the perfect texture. The whip and variable power (5 levels + turbo) did a great job, only turned it up to 3. Next, I made some muffins with the hand mixer. The motor is surprisingly quiet. It again mixed the muffin mix up easily. And, again I never turned the power up over 3. While baking my muffin​s​ I baked some potatoes to make some twice baked potatoes (a family favorite). I ​scooped the potato ​meat ​out of 4 large potatoes, added ½ cup grated cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup sour cream, ¼ cup half and half, a teaspoon of white pepper and put the hand blender to work. I like my potatoes without any lumps. I got the blender up to 5 and the potatoes were looking great, I whipped them for about 3-5 minutes. A nice smooth texture, prefect. I then added some fresh cut chives and mixed them in slowly on 1. Put the whipped potatoes back in the shells, and sprinkle the tops with paprika. Bake for 45m at 325, they should rise out of the shell by then. So, my initial impression is very impressive, plenty of power and you can buy additional accessories to add food chopper/processor, bread hooks, 3-cup blender. However, I looked at buying the most useful food chopper, and you half to buy the pieces separately, not making it a very affordable option, you can buy the Ninja food chopper with a motor for much less (disappointing, maybe they will fix after reading this…ha). Still, this is a powerful, flexible mixer combination. The motor is on the heavy side, but that leads me to believe it’s well made and will last. The whip could be used in the 3 cup container that comes with it, an easy way to make whipped cream or nice thick milk shakes. I’m looking forward to using the immersion blender to make some soup this fall. And for my next vacation (but I might just pull it out for other small jobs).​

Powerful, easy to use, good quality materials, easy to clean

This worked perfect for making my tomato basil soup. I wanted the corded version to have constant power when using it. The attachments are great and let you have so many different uses. The 750W motor is enough power to get the job done.

Love it!!! Saves space on the counter replacing my bulky Ninja mixer. Also incredibly easy to use - the parts take seconds to fit together. Easily fits into drawer. The mixer attachment does a better job than my big Ninja did. Very happy with the purchase.

This product is amazing! I love the speed and versatility with two products in one. This product makes working in the kitchen easy and fun! From making my own salad dressings, to whipping up a quick batch of cookies, this product was just what I needed!! I highly recommend!

This Ninja power mixer was a fantastic buy! Very easy to use, surprisingly quiet and with the accessories there isn’t anything you can’t create! Real easy to clean up too.

Interesting concept that works. Used it to bake a cake, then made smoothies later that day. Easy to clean up, very powerful with the turbo feature. Fits comfortably in the hand and the fingers just naturally land on the buttons. Another great Ninja purchase.

I bought this because the rubber on the single cup blender gets dirty & hard to pull out to clean. I’ve been using this for my morning protein shakes & it’s working amazingly.

Have been waiting for this item to appear at BB. Great multi-functional product. So much easier to use the hand blender rather than pulling out the full-size blender. Must have for any kitchen.
