Comfort and Clean Air!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With winter quickly approaching, this new Shark 3 in 1 Air Purifier with Purified Heat is exactly what I need to get me through those cold winter nights and mornings. And now, I don’t have to worry about running a separate air purifier, this new Shark does both jobs at the same time, saving me space and money! I get to have my cake and eat it too! The air purifier comes well packaged in cardboard and plastic bags that can be recycled. Recyclable packaging is always appreciated since it keeps waste out of the landfills and saves me a trash bag. The purifier comes fully assembled with the filter inside the unit, within a plastic bag. Be sure to remove the plastic bag from the filter or it won’t work. Shark makes this pretty obvious with a couple different indicators on the unit and in the set up guide. Once you get the filter reinstalled, replace the filter cover and place the unit somewhere where it will be at least three feet from any walls or furnishings. Once you turn the filter on it will begin to analyze the air quality, indicated by rotating lights on the front. It takes a few seconds and then the current air quality and air temperature are displayed. You can also access your real time air quality information by pressing the info button on the remote. From there you can see the PM1, PM2.5, PM10, Filter Life and more. Once ready, you can begin using the remote to customize your settings. Keep in mind that there is a knob on the side of the unit that must be manually toggled forward and backward to select between the three available modes. This cannot be changed using the remote. Rotating the knob forward allows for the Purified Fan and Purified Heat features to be used, while backward activities the Purified Air mode. Another thing to keep in mind is that while all three modes do purify the air, the Purified Air mode does so without the fan blowing forward and it does a more efficient job cleaning the air in this mode when run with Auto turned on. The Auto function allows the filter to automatically adjust the fan speed and purification power based on the air quality of the room. I’ve been using this new Shark 3 in 1 for a few days now and am more than happy with the level of purification it provides and the heat has been great as winter approaches. It’s been sitting in my office for now, since I spend eight hours a day in there, and recently it’s been pretty cold in the mornings. The air in my office has never been more fresh! I use the heater in the morning, while it’s chilly, then around noon I’ll switch to the Air Purifier mode and change it to Auto. The Auto function really does a great job keeping the air at 100%, according to the readout on the display. I have noticed that the air quality readout works incredibly well. It drops down pretty quickly when the unit detects smoke, aerosols, fragrance, and yes, flatulence set’s it off! It will go from silent to near full speed fan if somebody passes gas, rapidly clearing the air of the offending odor! I love it. Haha. Another great feature has been the fan. Although the mornings have been cold, we did have a warm evening recently and the fan helped to keep me cool while working. This is nice for me, because it can get warm in my office in the summer time with the extra computers and other electronic equipment. I also really like that the fan oscillates, distributing air throughout the room as it works to clean and cool/heat. The remote controls everything on the air filter other than the mode selection, and the front air vents, which manually tilt up and down to adjust the airflow. It would be nice if the remote did it all, but that would probably increase the cost substantially. And I’m okay with having to get up and change the mode from time to time, so it’s no big deal. Another small critique would be that you need the remote to control the air filter. The only button on the unit is the power button, beyond that, the remote docks on the top to be used as the buttons for the unit. But I worry about families that might break or lose their remote, also losing control of the air filter until a replacement is purchased. Probably nothing I need to worry about but something I wanted to mention. The filter life will depend on your environment and if you have a smoker in the house. Flip the filter every three months to extend the life. Doing so will equalize the balance and distribution of captured particles throughout the filter, allowing for extended use. The filter cannot be cleaned or recycled and needs to be replaced when the unit tells you that the filter life is low. This can be checked using the info button on the remote. Replacement filters are found on Shark’s website. I’m really happy I got this new Shark 3 in 1 Air Purifier for my home and home office. It’s really been a great addition and helps to keep me healthy by breathing fresh clean air and comfortable by warming or cooling me depending on the time of year. I highly recommend this to anyone who uses both a heater and air filter during the winter or a fan and air filter during the summer.

A Purifier That You Need
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have cats. They shed. A lot. This means that I deal with hair and dander. I also live in California which also means a lot of dry heat and unfortunately, the air gets smokey due to wildfires. My living environment begs for an air purifier. My previous air purifier was good but it was too sensitive and would get LOUD upon detecting a change in the air quality if anyone sneezed in the vicinity. It also didn’t have a fan/heater option. I decided that I needed to change purifiers. Set-Up: The Shark 3 in 1 is pretty much ready out of the box. Remove the stickers and the plastic covering the filter and you’re ready to go. It comes with a remote. No app to download. The Shark 3 in 1 starts up and will immediately display your air quality while also displaying the room temperature. A simple turn of the side dial allows you to switch between the air purifier or switch to the fan/heater mode. Performance: The Shark 3 in 1 is QUIET. As I mentioned before, my previous air purifier would self-adjust and would get loud at any hint of air quality change. Also, be aware that when the Shark is in purifier mode, it takes in the air from the front and disperses it out from the back whereas when in fan/heat modes, the air is pushed out from the front. The front display is illuminated just enough to allow you to read it from across the room. I also like the fact that the illumination acts as a sort of night light. If this is your first purifier, then you are going to notice a BIG difference in the amount of hair and dust that is reduced because of it. I’m not saying that you won’t have to dust again or that dog and cat dander is eliminated but you will notice that there’s a lot less of it. Well Built: There’s nothing ‘fragile’ about this Shark 3 in 1. It’s sturdy and won’t be easily knocked over by accidental bumps. The 3-in-1 remote rest comfortably within a convenient cradle built into the top of the tower. Purifier. Fan. Heater: What my previous purifier lacked was a standard fan and heater option. These are things that you don’t know that you needed until you have them in front of you. I’ve already utilized that fan feature when I just wanted to cool off the area instead of activating my AC. And I know I will be using the heater come December. It’s the little conveniences that make a difference. Shark has made an incredible device with its 3-in-1 Air Purifier. It feels like Shark approached this design from all angles and I am very happy with it. And I believe you will be as well.

Actual clean air!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm in love with this air purifier so far! I've been using it for a week now and I can already tell a difference in the air quality inside my house. I have several friends with pet allergies that visit regularly and my hope upon purchasing this purifier was to help minimize the dander my 3 cats create for not only my guests, but for my husband and self as well. I love how customizable and user friendly it is. The fact that I have the option to switch between cool, heat and normal and it still purifies the air is very appealing to me, especially during this time of the year when it's cold in the mornings, but warm during the day. I've left it on auto so it's pretty hands off, but it does come with a handy remote to control everything from. The purifier clearly indicated on the front what the current room temperature is, what the air quality is and the life of the filter. It's really quiet too. I've placed this in our living room and you pretty much don't know it's there unless you're looking right at it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get one of these for every floor of my house! Highly recommend.

Versatile, Effective, Multi-Functional Purifier
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting used: in a 700 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment. Unit is about knee high, easy to lift and move, and takes up a small amount of space. Pros: -Does all three jobs (heating, fan, and purifier) well. Air will be purified regardless of which of the 3 modes are used. -At the lower fan/air speeds, the unit doesn't make a lot of noise, Doesn't disturb you if you were watching TV, reading, or speaking with someone. -Remote has a built in cradle/holder at the top of the unit. Can leave the remote in the cradle and push buttons and it still works. -Comes with a on/off timer (up to 12 hours at 1 hour increments) -Info screen has 3 brightness settings (off/dark, low, bright) -Info screen can show multiple screens of information (% air clean, time to clean air, temp, filter life, etc.) -Comes with oscillating feature -LED color ring indicates air quality (blue for good, yellow for ok, red for bad). -I will say, I've noticed less dust around my apartment since I've been using this. Cons: -Utilizing the different modes/features is mostly dependent on remote. If you lose or break it, it would be difficult to operate the unit outside of powering on and off via the physical button on top (unless if you can get a replacement remote through Shark). -Remote is hockey puck shaped. While it looks good, I found that it feels weird and slightly difficult to grip in your hand and push buttons. -Shark advises that you need to keep minimum 3 ft of open space around the unit at all times. So its not meant to hug a wall or be put in a corner. -The purified air comes out the rear vent while the heated air and fan come out of the front vent. The info screen is on the front of the unit. -Would have like to see a handle or a place you could grip the unit that was built into it to make it easier to lift or carry. -You have to physically turn the mode on the side of the unit if you want purifier or heat/fan. This cannot be changed via the remote. You have to turn the the knob to the mode you want first, and then you can adjust the settings via the remote (temp, air speed, etc.) -No bluetooth/wifi connectivity or app or voice assistant built in

Whisper quiet, but lacks a few features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am still surprised at how quiet this is when in auto mode! To call it "whisper quiet" might be an understatement. I set it up in a large bedroom (roughly 20ft by 20ft) which also has two exterior walls and windows. This room gets quite chilly in the colder months, but this air filter's heat option is perfect to supplement the heat register in the room. I like the fact that it has a display which can show remaining filter life - other air filters tend to surprise you with a red light and shutting down. The oscillating feature is nice to spread the warmth across the entire room. It's also nice that it has a remote control that I can keep by my bedside to turn it off as I fall asleep. And that's where I can bring up the lacking features - I don't want to waste energy by leaving it running as I fall asleep, so a timer would be nice. Also, I feel like other air filters at this price point have Wi-Fi connectivity so they could be app controlled. Or maybe I could be notified as the filter reaches its end of life so I can leave the display off. I'm eager to see how well I sleep in the Spring months, which is typically when my allergies are the worst.

Shark Air Purifier 3 in 1 - Totally Awesome!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received my Shark 3 in 1 air purifier and first thing after unpacking you must remove the filter which is located in back under a plastic removable cover. It's above the electric cord and is wrapped in a plastic bag which I cut open with scissors to access. Replace it back and you're ready to go. The unit is circular in shape which is very pleasing to the eye compared to most all others that are rectangular or boxy. When you position it be sure you are at least 3 feet from a wall or object to obtain good air flow. Next you pull the yellow paper tag with a black arrow which is underneath the removable round remote control that's setting on top of the purifier. It connects back on magnetically when you go to replace it after use. There is a red scan bar code attached on the top that takes you to a YouTube video showing the complete operation of the unit. I definitely recommend doing this as it is only 5 minutes long but tells you a lot of the features you need to know. You can also head over to the Shark website if you can't scan. I used my phone and it worked well. Once plugged in and started you'll find a lever on the right side near top that adjusts the air flow. I really liked this feature. Then there is a knob, also on the right side, that has 3 available positions. Turn it to the left and you have Purified Fan and Purified Heat. Turn it right and you get the Purified Air and Auto mode. In Auto it automatically adjust the purification power based on air quality. You can also manually adjust the fan speed using the fan arrow setting. It has 6 levels of air speed and even at level 6 I found it to not be loud or disturbing at all. Level one or two is perfect for sleeping - so quiet you can barely hear it running. And if you missed it above, this unit purifies ALL your air! Heat, Fan or the Purifier itself. Really a superb feature! On the front you will find a blue ring with a digital readout of what air quality your home has. You can adjust the ring brightness to 3 levels...High, Low or Off. I like it on Low. Still can see it but doesn't bother you, especially at night when going to sleep. Another wonderful feature is this unit will oscillate and still remain quiet! I tried the heater feature and you can place on HI or level it down by degrees to your desired temperature. It worked wonders for keeping my room warm, especially being here in Wisconsin. I set mine on 74 degrees and it was absolutely perfect for me. One of the handiest things on this purifier is the circular removable remote! You can virtually do everything needed right in the palm of your hand. And this same remote controls the unit if you leave it attached so it has every single function of the purifier on it. Very impressed with this for sure. After running this for nearly 3 days in my bedroom I definitely can tell the air smells fresh and clean. My eyes aren't itching from allergies and I can honestly say this Shark 3 in 1 beats any other purifier I've owned and I have 3 others in different rooms. To be able to have a fan, a heater and an air purifier all in one unit is genius! I highly recommend its purchase! What a winner Shark! I love this!

Love it!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this air purifier for a year. I use it in a bedroom over our garage that has poor temperature regulation. Not only does it keep the room at a cozy temperature in the winter months, I love that it purifies the air at the same time and tells you the air quality. I also own Air Doctor purifiers for my home but wish that I had just purchased several of the Sharks

A great multifunctional purifier!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a dry, dusty environment, and my old purifier's air filters cost over a hundred and fifty dollars to replace. . . every six months, and so it now sits abandoned in my walk in closet. And then I came across this Shark air purifier. I had believed it was a two in one, only to find out it has the added bonus of a space heater. The unit covers 500 sq feet, comes with a remote, and clean air filter. That's it. Let's talk about the remote though, because it is a love/hate relationship and I have a warning for future buyers. So the remote is this neat disc that sits on top of the unit in a cradle-like depression that you won't be able to knock off easily, and you can set it down in such a manner that the magnet 'snaps' it into place. The cradle has an IR receiver so that you can use it without having to pick up the remote. I took a star away because my remote's battery slot is not secure, and it won't click back into place. I believe something happened because (Here's that warning!) when taking the battery tab off the remote, be mindful. I was a little eager and pulled the tab, and didn't realize it took the battery out with it, and when I tried to use the remote, and it wasn't responding, I didn't know I had yanked the battery completely out. Beside that point, the remote is actually well thought out. Now the unit itself: I like how it has a large display to see from across my living room, with a LED ring around it that indicates air quality in three colors: Blue, Yellow, Red. It has a touch sensitive power button separate from the remote (You can use either) and then an odd little knob on the right side that sets it into that “Air Purifing” mode, meaning the air direction will blow out of the back, and not in your face. If you turn it, it redirects the airflow through the front and enables the Fan and Space heater modes. The space heater that I didn't even know it came with until I got it, which I find to be really handy, except I live in Arizona, where it rarely gets cold. You can use the remote to change temps, turn on the oscillator, set timers, or just set it to Auto and leave it. The heater does have your standard safety features: Tip it over and it shuts down. The filters are easy to install, just pop the back cover off and stuff it in there, carefully. The great thing is: The filters don't cost a hundred and fifty a pop! For the fantastic price of 75 USD, you can easily obtain a new one. If you live in a variable climate, with a lot of allergens, or a pet and want a device to do more than just scrub the air, I certainly recommend this unit.

Great purifier with cooling and heating.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro: -Detachable remote -Heat gets warm quick -Auto detects air quality Con: -If remote is lost, you can’t change settings -Fan mode has low airflow to noise volume This is my second Shark purifier and I have no real complaints. It looks nice and doesn’t take up that much space, and it leaves a clean smell. It also serves as a light fan and good space heater. It’s powerful enough to clean an average sized living room. The front display has a clean aesthetic, displaying air quality information and the temperature. It can cycle through different particle types, filter life, and how long it will take to clean the area. The ring will also change color based on air quality. All the buttons, except the power button, are on the detachable remote. It’s held on by a strong magnet, but if it’s lost, then you lose all control over the purifier. You can still switch between purifier and fan with the knob, but nothing else. As a purifier, it’s quiet and puts out a nice clean smell. The Clean Sense IQ will auto detect air quality and adjust the fan strength accordingly. In this mode, the air is pushed out the back. When in Fan/Heat mode, the air flows from the front. The fan airflow is somewhat weak at low to medium setting but is relatively quiet. At higher settings, it can get loud, so the airflow to noise volume may not be worth it. The auto air quality detector will still crank up the power if the air quality drops. The heating is fast to warm up and is temperature controlled. Great for heating up a room quickly. The HEPA filter should last months and a replacement will cost $60, which isn’t too expensive.

Versatile Quality Product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 with True HEPA Filter, Air Purifier, Purified Heat, Purifed Fan, Odor Lock, 500 sq. ft. - Black This solidly-built Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 product is so much more than your typical air purifier. The “3-in-1” in the product name is your first clue that there’s so much more to come. In addition to purifying the air, this unit also provides purified heat and purified fan settings for spaces up to 500 square feet. That’s more than enough to cover most rooms. Paper documentation is minimal, but the instructions on operating the unit are clearly printed on the unit itself. That’s a nice feature, since you don’t have to constantly refer to the paper instructions (that is, if you can even find them later). Kudos for that. There’s also a QR code printed on the unit that you can scan. It takes you to an online video, showing you how to operate the unit. Choosing the location for the unit is important and can be an issue for folks with tight spaces, since the recommendation is that the unit be placed three feet from the wall and from any furniture. Operating this unit is a pleasure, since the various options are clearly marked, and the easy-to-read display shows you the results of your chosen action. There’s a feature called “Clean Sense IQ” which automatically adjusts and maintains the temperature setting you choose. And there’s an oscillating option which makes the operating part of the unit rotate to cover the widest possible area with the fan’s breeze. The included filter can last from six months to a year, depending on how much you use the unit. The product is covered by warranty for two years for both parts and labor, so the manufacturer certainly has confidence in this unit. So can you. This product is a winner! Highly recommended.

Wow, What a difference!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, what a difference this 3 – in – 1 makes! I use this in a home that is surrounded by dust due to home building ad nauseum and opening our doors causes dust to come in from the outside. My wife and I were constantly dusting our great room (every second day) to keep things clean. I set up this product in the great room (which is approximately 600 sq feet) right after we dusted. It has been a week now and we have not had to dust this room – the proof is in the pudding. In testing the thermostat and heat elements, I closed off the great room doors and set the thermostat to a higher level than my home thermostat. This unit easily kept the great room at the desired temp while the rest of the house was the temperature of the home thermostat – very nice feature to have on those cold wintery nights coming! The unit comes with a handy remote that magnetically sets to the main unit so it can’t get lost. The lights on the unit can be dimmed easily and is not obnoxious at night to wake anyone. The unit runs quietly enough with soft hum that is like white noise which I actually find soothing, although that is subjective, of course. All in all, this product is fabulous and fit my needs perfectly for what I wanted/needed. I highly recommend this product!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit has done a great job as a purifier and a heater. Great Air Purifier
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give 6 stars! This is a terrific Air purifier. Has a nice solid weight and build. The round wireless remote sits nicely in the top and stays put magnetically. It will operate all settings with line of site. (Has to see the purifier unit to work) You can also customize the display with the remote. 3 functions allow for purified fan only, Enhanced purified air and Purified heat. Yes, you heard correctly. This unit puts out a good amount of heat. There is approximately a 25 second delay when switching from air to heat due to heating element warming up before dispersing the warm air. You can change air direction to come out front or back of unit depending on the type of air you want. There is an adjustable vent in front to direct air flow up or down. The front display shows present air quality, room temperature and preferred/set temperature along with other customizable readings. The panel light has 3 settings-Bright-50%-No Light. Select auto to have the purifier decide on what settings are needed to purify air. I found the lowest fan setting is Wisper quiet. The fan overall has a very solid smooth sound so even on higher speeds does not bother me at all. 3 different PM readouts indicates types of impurities that it is filtering. This purifier is feature rich and flexible which also includes oscillation mode to help circulate the air.

Good, but large
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has a lot of nice features built in, but it is rather large. I'm sure the size of the unit is driven by the size of the HEPA filter, which fills up most of the lower portion of the unit. The colors are somewhat muted, but it's not going to disappear into a corner of your room. The display is informative and useful, and you can choose what you want to see. It is nice to be able to glance over and see the air quality and temperature. You can set it to run automatically, ramping up as needed to deal with variable air quality. You can also set the heater to maintain a desired room temperature. You're not going to get a large amount of air flow if you're trying to use this a fan to blow air around the room. The air discharges out of a fairly small, louvered port in the front. There is a small lever you can use to adjust those louvers up or down. You can also set it to oscillate automatically to distribute air more evenly around the room. The remote is cool, but maybe not the most ergonomic. It is round, and designed to sit in the center of the top of the unit. If you're operating it locally, you still use the remote, you just don't take it off the unit. It's an interesting setup, but if you lose the remote, you're out of luck, because there's no other way to operate the controls locally. I love the overall operation, just wish it could be a bit smaller.

Great for my homes’ environment
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 is a device that is very necessary during times like these of today with bad air quality all around us and virus particles in the air causing the need of wearing masks. Inside my home, the Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 eliminates the need for concerning myself with breathing unhealthy air. The Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 is always producing clean filtered air, regardless of whatever mode is being operated. The three modes of Purified Fan, Purified Heat, and Purified Air can tackle all the atmospheric home problems that arise inside my urban home constantly bombarded by unclean air. The Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1really blows the air with great force, if necessary, but also can produce a gentle flow of air. The heat function can go above 80 degrees easily and I really feel its heat. I had to move quickly from out of its direct path, because of how concentrated the heat flow can become. The Purified Air can monitor my homes’ air quality and display it on its screen to inform me of possible health concerns with my air. My home air is environmentally protected with the Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1.
