Good suction, but short life and some weird stuff.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For this much money, it should do more. I've been trying out a lot lately so I feel pretty qualified. My first official writing review on a vacuum. I am doing it because I had no idea how many issues with cordless vacs there are, even the expensive ones. So I'll try to post mine online from now on. The suction is great on the main unit and I was able to vacuum my 3 main rooms, but then it just died after maybe 15 minutes. I didn't even use the blast feature (if it even has one). But, the main thing is the attachments are terrible. It picked up no cat hair on my couch and there is literally no room on the stand for the brush attachment. How did they not think of this? It's so weird. It's not worth it. And yes, the dust cup is very very very small. The handle is not comfortable to twist around the rooms, even though you'd think it would be because of the design. It really hurt my wrist. There is no light. I could keep going, but this should be enough.

Find something better
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Shark cordless vacuum and I'll have to say it's been a pretty disappointing product. I've loved their plug in vacuums and have owned a couple of them with no issues, but this one seems pretty cheap and not very good The biggest issues are that the suction isn't that great causing difficulty picking things up. You have to go over it multiple times Whether it's carpet or hardwood or tile. The other issue that I have is that I am constantly trying to clean out the filter which is difficult to clean as it quickly affects the ability to suction up debris/dust. This was one of the cheapest options for the shark vacuums so maybe that what you get for the lower end vacuums but I just had higher hopes and now it's too late to return it. The good things I would say are the convenience of having a vacuum you can just grab and it's ready to go with out having to find an outlet or deal with a cord. The wand is also nice since you can take it with you where ever such as the car and works pretty decently. Overall, I would pass on this product and find something better

Powerful lightweight hand vac
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Wandvac is a small and powerful cordless vacuum cleaner. It is extremely light, Easy to handle and to maneuver specially under cabinets and sofas. It handles like a vehicle. You twist right, it turns right, twist left and it turns left. It comes dismantle out of the box but is very easy to put together. Out of the box it needs to be charged for at least 3hrs. The best thing about ths vac is that it is very versatile. You can clean from the hard floor to carpet or transition between both with ease. By disconnecting the floor nozzle you can use the wand to clean higher areas. Or, just use the hand vac by itself to clean sofas or reachable areas. It also works well to clean the vehicle. You will be surprised how easy it is to disconnect the extensions to the hand vac by just pulling the two release buttons that are positioned close to the handle. This vac has an replaceable battery of 1900mAh so don’t expect it to last long. I experience that myself. The battery will last from 15 to 20 of continuous use, and that will depend on what type of floor you are cleaning. Example I used it to clean a large carpet in my entertainment room and within 5 min or so one of the battery dots was already depleted. Don’t get me wrong I was more surprised in how well it actually cleaned than how fast the battery was draining. There is a logic to it, the more strain the more power it will consume. The good thing is that if the battery fails at some point it is very easy to replace. Also worth to note that during continuous use, you will notice the handle will get a little hot. That's because that’s where the battery sits. The dustcup is not huge so you may need to empty it a few times during your cleaning cycle. However, I love how easy it is to empty that dustcup, just press a button and there goes the dust. This comes with a docking station to keep your vac and its accessories in one place. The dock will keep your vac upright while charging. When fully charged you can disconnect the hand vac and mount it on the wand if you worry about overcharging. Whenever you stop using the vac momentarily you will have to hold it. Due to the weight which is most on the top, the vac won't stand on its own, it will fall. Overall this is a very well versatile powerful cordless vac despite the short battery life. It does the job well, it is easy to maneuver and effortless to transition from one setting to the other. You don’t need to use your hands to clean the dustcup and the battery is easily replaceable. And If you have pets this vac is pet friendly and it comes with the tools for that too. In the box you get the hand vac, wand, floor nozzle, docking station, pet multi tools, power cable and manuals.

Light and plenty of suction
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Wandvac Cordless Stick Vacuum System is a nice addition to the tools I use to combat the fur/hair my three indoor cats leave behind. The vacuum is extremely light and surprisingly powerful. Assembly was simple, and the only thing that was needed afterwards was to let the battery charge to full. The charging stand that holds the vacuum is a nice feature. The amount of hair this vacuum picked up on the first run was quite impressive. The dirt cup is a bit smaller than the other vacuum I have been using, so I did have to empty a little more often, but that's not a big deal. I did find myself accidentally hitting the dirt cup release a few times by mistake because of its location, but I finally learned not to touch that button until I was ready to dump the dirt. The only other 'problem' I found was that the release for the rotating brush (to turn the vacuum into a wand) was more difficult to enage than the release for the upper portion; the upper portion can be released easily, but in order to release the brush, I had to bend so I could reach to the floor to release the brush head. This was a little bit of a pain since I have a bad back. I believe the buttons to release the brush could've been moved higher up. Other than those two small issues, I really like the vacuum; it's light, has plenty of suction, and the battery lasts long enough for me to clean everything that I need to clean.

Light, but powerful!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the vacuum does wonders. It's powerful, yet compact. The size will shock you when you feel and see the amount of work it puts in! In the box, you get a charging stand, corner vacuum attachment, and another attachment for window seals, and hard to reach areas. The setup itself was straightforward. Just follow the included instructions, and please ensure to charge the battery to full before using (always a good idea with any product with a battery). Please keep in mind, this isn't a whole home (in one go) vacuum. The dust compartment will not hold that large of an amount, BUT the compartment is easy enough to empty. This is one of the cool features of this vacuum. Long gone are the days of having to use your hands to empty out the vacuum. The SHARK has a one push button that opens up the dirt compartment which can be emptied into your garbage can. After, you close and continue your cleaning (If needed). I love this vacuum (living in a smaller apartment), it makes it super easy to clean and go. Handy, yet portable!

Powerful for Cordless Pickup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Cordless Sweeper is a very lightweight yet powerful sweeper. It was very easy to assemble and charge. The charging station sits on the floor and is about a foot square. The upright piece that you charge the unit with stands up on the base. I would be afraid of it breaking if it got tripped over or knocked over but if you keep it in a corner or behind something it would be fine. The suction worked wonderful on pet hair. It was very easy to use on carpeted steps, carpet and tile floors. It is perfect for quick cleanups anywhere around the house. It was easy to empty but seems hard to clean out after emptying. I think a removable cup would be nice. You have to hold the whole sweeper over the garbage to empty it. Came with 2 attachments that got into the creases of the steps and corners but only one connects to the base unit. I would recommend this sweeper. I would have given five stars if it had a removable compartment for the debris it collected so it could be cleaned out and a sturdier charging stand.

Fantastic light-duty vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've owned, and still do, several Shark products from the handheld Wandvac up to the full-sized units. This unit falls right in the middle of them in terms of size, power, and price. It is surprisingly powerful for its size and is an excellent tool for cleaning up after our two dogs. One of them is shedding quite a bit at this time of the year and this product is very handy for quick cleanups and vacuuming up my dog's shedding hair clumps. It comes with a nice stand/charging station which ensures its always fully charged when we need to use it. It does a great job on our wood floors and also works quite well on our carpeted areas due to the brush roller. It also comes in very handy when vacuuming out my car. Just separate the handheld unit from the extension and I can get into much tighter quarters. Its a larger handheld unit than my other Shark (see comparison in attached pictures) and because of that the suction is quite a bit stronger. The debris holder is also larger and empties with a simple touch of the button. Overall its a great tool for around the house at an affordable price.

Excellent Maneuverability and Decent Suction
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been testing the Shark Wandvac System Pet Dry Bagless Cordless 3-in-1 Stick Vacuum for a few days. Overall, I think it is a good vacuum for a quick clean or touch-up but not that great if you intend to use it as a whole home, deep cleaning vacuum. It's best feature is that it is more maneuverable than any other stick vac that I have tested. The Wandvac was easy to assemble and disassemble. Everything just snaps together in a fool-proof way. I found there is a little learning curve in figuring out which latch opens the canister, and which one separates the attachments. However, I only made that mistake once. It charges quickly and doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen. As for performance, it has about as much suction that you would expect out of a portable hand vac. Which means I won't be using it as a whole house cleaning solution. When it comes to picking up German shepherd dog hair, it did a decent job and there was no hair stuck in the brush. However, because of the small debris canister, I found myself having to empty it out frequently. With those limitations in mind, I found that it has become my go to vacuum for cleaning the ceiling fan, stairs, tables, lamps, and the entertainment center. I also used it to clean my cars and it did a decent job there too.

Lightweight, great value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark WANDVAC cordless stick vacuum is perfect for quick cleanup with its lightweight and thoughtful design that transforms from a stick vacuum to a hand vac with ease. While no replacement for an upright, the WANDVAC provides surprising suction (and noise) for its diminished size, cleaning hard floors and low pile area rugs while keeps the self cleaning brush roller hair free. The minuscule dust bin is oddly designed to flip out or down depending on how the WANDVAC is oriented, leading to at least a few dust ejections on the floor until you master it. Shark also placed the button to empty the WANDVAC adjacent to the power, further increasing the odds an unsuspecting spouse may inadvertently empty the bin prematurely. I also found the pre filter in the dust bin had to be manually cleaned often, requiring you to remove hair and impacted dirt from the mesh cone. Another downside is the WANDVAC will not stay upright on its own, Shark designed it to stay on the included charging dock. Fortunately we had space for it near an outlet where it would be out of sight, though I imagine that may be an issue for some. Once you overcome these obstacles, the WANDVAC is a breeze to use at under 6 pounds including the base. The WANDVAC is very nimble and easily pivots on hard floors with one hand, getting under furniture and around chairs. With one hand, you can detach either the motorized base or the extension wand leaving an even lighter 2 pound hand vac. The WANDVAC really excels at edging or even cleaning hard to reach places by not having the weight of a larger cordless vacuum. Even considering the shortfalls, the Shark WANDVAC makes a great choice for an additional floor cleaner or primary for someone who has a single bedroom apartment . I still feel the WANDVAC is a good value but it isn’t for everyone.

Compact workhorse for small jobs.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shark - WANDVAC System Pet Dry Bagless Cordless Summary: Compact workhorse for small jobs. Pros: * Workhorse. This vacuum has a surprising amount of suction power. It works well. * Vortex tunnel dustbin accumulates dust/matter efficiently and makes cleaning a snap. * Stand. The charging stand is nice. It's nice not to have to reach for the charging cord and find a place where the device won't fall over. * Easy to use. Use of this device is pretty simple and intuitive. * Battery seems appropriately sized for the power and longevity of the unit. Cons: * Stand. The stand is also its weakest property. Why doesn't it have a storage slot for all of the attachments instead of just one? * Stand. It would have been nice for there to be a wall-mount option for the stand. I will be using it primarily as a wand vac because of its size. So, it would be nice to just "hang it up." Unfortunately, this means that to charge it, I'll need to transform it to full vacuum mode. Use: This unit is a nice size. If you have a small space, this vacuum may meet your needs. I have a corgi that sheds quite a bit whether he is well groomed or not. Using this in wand mode with the rotor attachment makes cleaning tight spots a breeze.

Handy quick pick up vac
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stick vac is great for a lot of my uses. I have tile and carpet in my house, and I have one cat that sheds a ridiculous amount of fur for one pet. I have other vacuums, but this one is really helping me out with those quick pick up jobs that you don’t really want to do, but eventually have to. Jobs like vacuuming the hair off of your bathroom tile floor, or the cat fur in the kitchen, because the cat likes to rub her head on the cabinet. This stick vac has a somewhat big footprint, with the charging base that this thing lives on, which measures 12” x 11”. There’s one storage spot for only one of the two attachments. When the base and the handle are attached, the stick vac can’t stand up on its own, which is odd. It can be propped against the wall without falling. The vac base can stand on its own, and you can hook the handle onto the front of the base (as shown in my pic), so that’s handy if you want to leave it somewhere besides the charging base. This vac is very easy to push, and there’s no cord in the way, which is nice. I also was able to vacuum my non-fluffy bathroom rugs easily, another task that isn’t very fun. I like the vacuum handle, sometimes I walk around the house with it just sucking things up at random. This is not a whole house type vacuum, the dirt cup is not large enough for that. Emptying the dirt cup is pretty easy. It’s just a push of a button, watch out the first time you do it, because the dirt pops out of the underside. I love how the hair just wraps around the mesh cone in the dirt cup so it doesn’t get tangled up in everything. You just pull it off, and toss it in the trash. Also, when you use the base to vacuum with, the fins on the roller bar keeps hair from getting stuck on it, and sucks it into the dirt cup. Overall I'm digging this vacuum, I don't have to bring out the big vacuum cleaner and deal with unwrapping then re-wrapping the cord, which is a huge drag for me! I haven't had a dustbuster type vacuum in a long time, but the convenience of this is probably close that, but with the bonus of the floor vacuuming ability.

Just meh. There are better options. Sorry Shark!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get it...it's hard to get excited about a vacuum - I'm one of those weirdos that does. Having owned many shark products over the years I was excited to try out the Shark Wandvac 3-in-1 because the idea of something light weight and versatile for car and home appealed to me. Unboxing: Maybe my review should be 3 weeks after opening instead of 3 days. I'm still annoyed by the way Shark put all the parts in the boxes. It's like they got some sick pleasure out of hiding chargers and extensions deep inside hidden cardboard enclosures. I thought I had everything out TWO times and each time I had to take everything back out and search for parts. Quality: I will say that build quality is top notch like other Shark products I've tried. It's lightweight but feels sturdy and the buttons and switches have a satisfying click or action when pressed. No complaints here. Assembly: They didn't quite think through everything. They have stickers that tell you how to store, but it's not overly apparent how the charging works. You shouldn't have to think about how to charge a vacuum. The accessory attachments on the floor is silly and I've got a cheap plastic stand that lifts off the floor when you're picking up the wand. I would have much rather had a wall mount. Usage: The most appropriate here would be 'meh'. I don't feel like it's super strong. The carpet lines were pretty weak. I did have dust and debris picked up and emptying was easy enough, but I feel like it could have picked up more. The dust bin is super small and I feel like I'll have to empty after every use. They promote above the head usage but the attachments included are certainly not useful on your walls and ceilings. Maybe to grab some loose cobwebs but no one wants to scratch their walls with a hard plastic bristle that looks like it's intended for detailing your car mats. Ceiling fan folks....If you're going to promote above the head usage then give me an attachment that will dust my ceiling fans. All in all it does what it says - no false advertising here...I just think there are better options in this price range at Best Buy.

Cut the cord
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got sick of using a corded vacuum. I also wanted something that was quick and easy to do stairs and hardwood floors with. This vacuum is lightweight and versatile. He has a boost option for harder to clean areas. Great for use in your car too. The only drawback is that the collection compartment is small. You need to empty it often if you have a lot of dog hair. Other than that. I love it!

Have some thoughts
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this for about a month now and I do have some things to say about it. First off, the pros: Very east to use and set up. I can't tell you how nice it is to just pick this up and use it WITHOUT having to plug it in. Just pick it up and go. I love how east it is to take the top part off for when I have to get under areas the vaccum can't. I love how easy it is to empty the vacuum out. Simply press a button and release the dirt. No dust flying everywhere. Cons- The battery life is atrocious. I can't vacuum my 1200 sq home all the way without it dying. It is very annoying when you are all set on cleaning and getting it done quick and then to have the battery die and wait an hour or more before it charges back up. The dust area is very small. Some people may love this, because the don't want dust flying everywhere, and I love that to, however, the area is so small that after just a little vacuuming, the vacuum suck is really bad and you have to dump the dust. The last thing is, the add ons for the hand part of the vacuum does not connect to the body of the vacuum, so you have to hold them in your hand, pocket or walk over to the charging station and grab it. Minor annoyance but felt like it needed to be said. Overall, a great vacuum for small areas and little cleanups for everyday use, not great for a big clean day.
