The battery life was the worse! I really liked how it vacuumed, and the suction was great but after charging for over 4 hours the battery died within 10-15 min.

Im not impressed at all. Unfortunately, the suction is not strong enough for my needs. I do however like the convenience of it being cordless as well as its very light and portable to move around the house and up and down the stairs

This has been an amazing vacuum since the moment I received it. Light weight and just feels right in my hands. Comes with 2 extra attachments. Now I do wish it had its wall mounted charging dock that holds the tools BUT it doesn't come with one. No biggie but for the price you sorta expected that. The vacuum has good stability and doesn't fall easily. The suction power is powerful and picks up the debris well. I do think it should be a little bit more powerful on its suction. On some areas of the house it had a difficult time picking up the debris. It also comes with an odor neutralizer which leaves a nice scent after each cleaning. It has two small wheels that are about one inch, those wheels are so helpful and make the vacuum easy to move around carpet and tile floors. I love that it comes with lights for those hard to see debris. The dust container is very easy to clean and also comes off to wash it. The IQ clean sense is a great feature which lets you know if the area needs more cleaning or not. Overall a great vacuum.

Bottom line it is just too weak. The suction is weak. It does not come with a charging hanger like dyson. The head is a little to bulky to get in-between tight spaces.

I have a dog and a cat. They both shed quite a lot. The dog also occasionally goes to doggy day care and comes home wet and smelly, so when he sheds, the hair also has the stinky smell to it. We also have Ruggable rugs throughout the house and Mose stick vacuums are too strong and the beater bar ends up getting stuck on the rugs. I was happy to see that the new Shark cordless pro vacuum perfectly works for my 2 key uses cases. I'm able to get all the pet hair off the floor and rugs without the beater bar getting stuck as well as the vacuum's exhaust not making the house smell like smelly dog. The first thing I noticed about the new vacuum was the beater bar. Unlike most beater bars I've seen in vacuums that have the traditional bar with bristles, the Shark Pro's beater bar looks like it's been designed for most hard surfaces like tile or wood, with lighter bristles around it for getting stuff off of rugs and on the top of the carpet. Another thing I appreciate about the design of this is how strong and stout the neck is. I've had cordless vacuums in the past where the head was large, the neck was tiny, and the handle / battery / waste bin part was massive, so the thing couldn't stay upright on it's own when stored unless it was leaning on something. The Shark Pro can stand up on its own, owning to the more compact handle / dust bin section coupled with a stronger, thicker neck. The vacuum itself offers several modes for cleaning: - Eco Mode, lower power / suction and longer run time - Clean Sense, adjusts power / suction based on the soil level it detects - Max, higher power / suction and shorter run time I've primarily used it on Eco mode because it's perfect for getting pet hair, dust, and other light debris off our hardwood and tile floors. I can zip all over the downstairs of our house and the battery is still almost totally charged. I have tried the Clean Sense mode to see how it responds, and I've also tried the max mode - but like I said, I usually leave it on Eco mode. Another nice feature of the Pro is the odor elimination provided by a pod you plug into the vacuum's head that is adjustable. So if you're dealing with something that smells really bad, like say - a dog who played in a pool and now starts to smell like cheese as he dries and sheds, the adjustable nature of the odor elimination pod is nice. I've left it at the lowest setting and that's worked fine, but I'm also trying to make sure I get the most out of it. All in all, I'm really happy with this vacuum from Shark.

Just purchased. Only used it a couple of times. Still getting used to a different type of vaccuum. Not as powerful as a typical vaccuum, but is sufficient for the intended use.

    Another great vacuum from Shark

First, I will say I really like Shark vacuum cleaners and this one is no exception. The vacuum came well packaged and was easy to open and assemble. The vacuum consists of 3 basic parts the floor nozzle, wand tube and the motor/dust cup. In addition, Shark now has a deodorizing cartridge for this model that you insert into the floor nozzle to keep things smelling fresh. Assembly is easy. Insert the wand into the floor nozzle and then attach the motor/dust cup to the top of the wand. It is recommended to charge the battery fully before using the first time. This process is very easy as the battery is removable and can be charged in or out of the head unit with the included charger. This new shark incorporates Clean Sense IQ which identifies when there is more dirt that needs to be picked up and can adjust the suction of the vacuum and there is a bar readout on the floor nozzle to let you know this is working. It seems to work very well. The floor nozzle uses and unique roller head that is a combination of the soft microfiber roller with rubber fins imbedded into the roller so it works very well on both hardwood floors and carpet and the way the fins are configured virtually eliminates hair tangles. I really like this new roller as I have a lot of hardwood floors. There are also built in LED headlights which is a feature I would never want to do without. The controls are mounted at the top of the unit and consist of the on/off button (you don’t have to hold a trigger) a button that allows you to adjust the suction power between ECO, Clean Sence IQ and boost. There are 2 indicator lights that show the battery level and whether or not the Sense IQ is active. The vacuum comes with 2 attachments that include a brush for cleaning things like furniture and an extendable wand for cleaning along the floor edge or reaching high places. The vacuum is light weight weighing in at a little less than 8 pounds which makes it very maneuverable and easy to handle. It is very well balanced and the head swivels easily and can be laid almost flat for reaching under low furniture and beds. The vacuum does a great job of cleaning both hardwood and carpet and I have been using it in the Sense IQ mode. It has plenty of suction power and picks up great. The dust cup is large and easy to empty. The dust cup is removable and there are two filters inside that Shark recommends you clean on a regular basis by removing them a rinsing under water only (no soap). There is also a HEPA filter in the motor head that can be cleaned. The vacuum comes with a simple 1-page Quick Start Guide that provides enough information for assembling the vacuum and some information on the controls. There is a more complete manual on the Shark website. Battery life varies depending on which suction level you use and whether you are using the floor nozzle or not. These run times seem to vary from about 10 minutes to 45 minutes. I got plenty of battery life to vacuum my house with the floor nozzle without having to re-charge the battery. One new feature on the model is the ability to remove the motor head and with a clip that is positioned low on the wand you can clip the motor head on to the wand and the vacuum will stand upright without having to rest it against a wall. There is no wall mount for this unit so this feature is very convenient. If there was one thing that would be nice to have it would be a second battery but additional batteries are available if you find that you need another one. This is a great vacuum and Shark did a great job incorporating some very useful features and performance. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Picks up eveything without too many passes on light carpet and hardwood floors as long as you keep the filters clean and empty the vacuumed storage regularly.

I have been a big fan of the Shark family of vacuum products, as I currently own an older model which I love. Unboxing and the setup process up was easy. A few clicks here and there and it was ready to use. There was no need to reference any set up materials as everything was straight forward. The vacuum is highly maneuverable and pretty quiet in the normal setting. I was pleased with how well it cleaned my floors and carpets and how easy it was to clean the vacuum itself. The brush-roll did not clog with long hair when I used it. There are two people in my household that have long hair and on other vacuum models its was always an issue with hair becoming wrapped around the brush-roller. NO MORE tangled hair in the rollers! What a relief as I hate untwisting hair from vacuum rollers. PROS: Control buttons are located in an easy to activate position. Suction power is adjustable. Vacuum is easy to utilize on both hardwood/tile floors and carpeting. The brush-roll does not clog with long hair. Vacuum is lighted and lights up the travel path. Vacuum has an air freshener which makes your home smell really nice during the cleaning process. Battery life is exceptional. CONS: The vacuum had a tendency to grab small rugs when vacuuming. You are unable to store vacuum in an upright position unless you take it apart. All in all, I'm enjoying this Shark vacuum. It's fantastic at picking up dirt during the first sweep of the floor. I did not have to vacuum any sections of my home more than once. Best of all its cordless and has good battery life. My home is approximately 2000 square feet, and I had no problem on the medium and low settings in finishing my entire home without recharging. This product automatically increases suction when it senses and encounters dirty areas on your floor. Look out competition......Here comes the SHARK!

Shark Cordless Pro Vacuum gets the job done!

This Shark Cordless Pro Vacuum with Clean Sense IQ is a winner for me. It was very easy to put together without looking at the instructions and it was partially charged right out of the box. It is relatively light compared to other cordless model brands I’ve used, which is making life a lot easier for me. I put it to work right away vacuuming the living room carpet where our cat likes to hang out. Wow - there is a headlight. I haven’t seen that on a cordless vacuum before! The headlight allows me to vacuum in the closet, under the bed and such while actually seeing what I’m doing. This Shark picked up a lot of dirt, dust & cat hair easily. There is an eco mode which saves on battery life (lasts up to 40 minutes) and there is a power mode which cranks up the power and uses more battery but seems to clean better. I went into the kitchen with its hardwood floor and it picked up most particles on the floor and then into the bathroom with the tile floor where it did a fairly good job. The Clean Sense IQ feature automatically increases the power as you vacuum. I don’t know how it works - it just does. The dirt cup was about 1/2 full at this point so I removed the vacuum head with a simple press, went to the trash and simply “ejected” the dirt and hair directly into the can. So easy. This Shark cordless comes with 2 attachments: an upholstery brush & a crevice tool that has an added brush so it’s almost like 3 attachments. It comes with a self cleaning roller that’s not the normal brush like roller. This is to prevent hair wrap which usually gets me on the floor with other vacuums and a pair of scissors to cut the hair mass off. The only problem I’ve had is that I don’t know where to keep it. It needs to have its battery charged and there is no stand for it so it needs to lean against something near an outlet. The battery can be removed to charge as well. This vacuum doesn’t have the best suction I’ve seen, but it certainly does well enough for me with its lightweight form factor and I love the headlight. It is versatile in that it can clean floors that have carpet, wood, tile, vinyl etc. I would recommend this Shark Cordless Pro Vacuum to anyone looking for a lightweight, easy to operate vacuum that does the job.
