I bought this to stream games from my desktop PC locally and it works well for that. I don't have a GeForce now or Xbox game pass subscription so I can't comment on how well those services work. Pros: - Good battery life - Good bright screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, so you won't have any black bars around your games. - The picture quality is good, I'm not sure about the specs but it looks colorful - I don't see any PWM or flickering on the display - Good build quality and lightweight without feeling cheap - I like how the controls are laid out like the Xbox controller and the buttons feel better than the smartphone controllers I've tried. - Works well with the Moonlight app Cons: - Kinda pricey especially for my use case - A better processor would have been nice for playing more demanding Android games away from Wi-fi - The triggers take some time to get used to, to me they feel a little too close together. - No wifi 6

TV. I can game for 5 mins, put it down, pick it up and play for 15 mins, or simply play while the kids are watching Bluey and Spidey and his Amazing Friends. I think $149 or $199 is a more appropriate price, would make it a no-brainer to recommend to everyone (including getting more people to adopt/try cloud gaming) and would help Logitech own the cloud gaming handheld space. I received the pre-order discount ($299), but now that it's $349, it makes it a harder pill to swallow outside of a niche audience or dedicated cloud gamers. If Logitech lowered the price (so it's not so close to a Switch OLED or base Steam Deck), they would make a killing. But, if you are considering buying one, I highly recommend it. I think it's a fantastic device that addresses all my needs and pain points with gaming on my phone. It's an attractive design that feels great in the hands, has a nice, big, bright, and responsive screen, outstanding battery life, and is solidly built.

I recently got to try out the Logitech G Cloud I'll be the first to admit I was not taking this device seriously when it launched last year given 1. It was android 11 2. An older chipset (Snapdragon 720) 3. It was $350... That all said, I was actually extremely impressed and surprised by how awesome this little device is. The chipset probably helped save on production cost, but also is EXTREMELY battery efficient so much so that you can use the cloud and Android based applications for about 8-12 hours. The downside of the chip ofcourse are some android mobile games that are more intensive like Diablo Immortal don't get to run on max settings and honestly looked kinda rough. Genshin Impact looked and ran fine though. This device does have a micro SD card slot so you can even use it for some retro/emulation play (with HDMI out), but any game over 4gb is sadly not compatible given the file format as of this time. This is hands down without a doubt the most comfortable and light gaming handheld I have ever used. If you have good internet/a mesh system this thing works beautifully with everything I used from Cloud Gamepass to Nvidia GeForce Now. Remote play was awesome via my PC using Moonlight and as for PS5 it's always a mix bag no matter the device because something on Sony's end just really doesn't play well no matter how good and stable your Internet is. I would take this over the PS Portal ANY day of the week. Given that the device isn't packing an APU there is no heat or noise from a fan and that was really dope. If you can get this device for around $199-$225 I would say absolutely grab it because it does work well for the intended purposes. You're gonna have looooong battery life and it's nice to just pick up something and start playing if you do enjoy cloud gaming/streaming.

I own a PS5 and Xbox Series S and finally decided I was ready to get a remote play device. My use case was simply to be able to remote play both consoles with great quality on my living room couch vs. in my dedicated gaming room. I also own a switch but was tired of being limited to that when couch gaming. I haven’t tried other devices yet but I can say without a doubt that the Gcloud has been amazing for me. The Gcloud is extremely comfortable to use, screen is large and beautiful and battery life is amazing. It may be because both my Xbox and PS5 are hard wired but I have virtually 0 lag. It has stuttered maybe once or twice in the 12 or so hours of continuous gaming. For some additional context, I normally game on a 65in oled so visuals where always going to be critical for me. The Gcloud certainly does not disappoint! I use the unofficial xbxplay and psplay apps (~$6 or so each) and the experience is pretty much flawless! Again I haven’t tried other devices like the ps portal but for me and my specific use case the Gcloud is amazing. I can understand the hate it gets due to its price but honestly the value is delivers (which is entirely subjective) makes it extremely worth it if you can afford it. I kid you not when I say that in the last 3 nights alone, I’ve played MK11, Ghost of Tsushima, Hogwarts Legacy, FIFA 24 and red dead redemption on PS5 as well as Halo, Wildlands and Forza Horizon on Xbox in excellent quality and all seamlessly from my couch! My only real concern is the need to somehow manage how much time I’m spending on video games since I purchased this excellent device.

Great for playing local PC games handheld. Great for emulators ps2 era and older. Don't expect it to run new and demanding android games or emulators. Playing old emulator games or local PC games on steam link is where this device shines. Great battery life, great big screen, and this device creates almost zero heat on your hands!

Amazing Handheld…When Used For Intended Purpose

This device was not meant to be a heavy lifter on games saved locally on the device itself. If you wanted to go that route then Emulation up to PS1 is fine. Where this shines is on streaming games. Take my scenario as an example. I have a killer PC at home I spent a ton of money on to be able to play games. While most people would try to purchase a PC handheld to play these type of games on the road, I feel differently. I’ve already shelled out a ton of money on my desktop PC. I have great internet. Why not just stream using Moonlight? Let your PC at home do the heavy lifting while you enjoy it on the go via streaming. Advantages of this approach: - Battery life on this device is great at 12 hrs. A handheld PC can only handle 2-4hrs. - A desktop PC will always beat out a handheld PC. Keep updating your PC’s components and this device will continue to be useful. Alternatively, the handheld PC route will eventually become outdated. Sure it can also stream but the battery life won’t be as good still. - Storage. Your limitation is no longer the capacity of your handheld device or it’s memory card. Since you are streaming you don’t have to worry about bringing it all with you. More selection, less preparation. Disadvantages: - You are limited by your internet service. If it’s slow it could lead to a rough time. Latency can also have an impact if you like to play FPS games. I find myself rarely in a situation where the internet is bad but it has happened. The internet will improve over time and streaming will be the future. As for the device itself, I find that it is extremely well made. The screen is excellent and one of the best I’ve seen on a handheld. 7” is the perfect size. The buttons feel good when pressing with the exception of the select and start buttons. I sometimes have to make sure I give it a good press on the few occasions I use them. Lastly, the price. I think this device would sell out at $200-$250 range. I bought it on sale at $300 and I think it is worth it simply because there isn’t an alternative this good out there. But man would it be in a sweet spot within that range.

The logitech g cloud has great battery life and plays all my games on xbox series x as well as my PS5 on the cloud via wifi with no issues. Plus, if offline, the retro gaming is amazing, nothing like being able to play gamecube, game boy advance and arcade games on a handheld when wifi is not available. It's great screen and battery life make this a no brainer!

Bought a logitech gcloud as an alternative to the PS Portal since I wanted more capabilities and I am shocked how many ways you can game on this. Since its an android tablet you can download the PS Remote app (3rd party app since PS themselves dont want people to buy anything other than the portal), you get xbox cloud app installed and steam app (which needs a local PC connection) and on top you can download Android games, netflix games, emulators etc. Need to setup port forwarding for remote session which are not on the local network. Good device with good features for most to all remote access gaming.

I was skeptical about the G Cloud at first. $350 was a big ask for a streaming-only console. The Logitech G Cloud is underpowered from a technical standpoint.  There are better android devices for emulation and native android titles. However, it does one thing extremely well. STREAMING. I have found myself reaching for the G-cloud over every other handheld I own. The device works extremely well for both Xbox gamepass and PS5 remote play. I am able to access my entire game catalog from any room in my house. This is a perfect product for the niche clientele it caters to. Just know what you are getting into. This is not a "console" but rather a companion device to extend ways to play. My surprise hit of the year.

Very solid, its perfect for remoting into your xbox games. Yes you can remote in on your phone but the screen is so small. This device has a much bugger screen. The graphics could definitely be better. The battery life is good while playing. Its not perfect but it gets the job done. If logitech makes another better version I would likely get that as well.

Approx 6month of usage review: This thing is awesome. I use it every single day to stream my PS5 at the end of the night when I want to lay in bed and play. It also means my girlfriend and I can play together in a room that only has one TV, or my son can watch TV and I can still play my games. I don't use it for Cloud gaming as PlayStation still doesn't support that on mobile devices. I definitely recommend to go with the third party streaming app for PlayStation called PSPlay, as it's better in every way than the Sony version. They have an Xbox version too. For the people who want to use this as an emulation device I would advise you to do some research and set your expectations. This is a streaming device first, and an android gaming handheld second. That being said this is probably the highest quality chassis you can find, even if it doesn't have the highest performance. Almost all android gaming handhelds use the garbage Nintendo Switch Joycon style joysticks, which are terrible no matter how much you mess with settings. This handheld is almost identical to the feel of an Xbox One Controller, with squeaky and worse triggers. The CPU in this thing was meant to have the best battery life, and thus can only handle up to GameCube/Wii titles with some Minor/Major tweaking. Don't expect to run games like Wind Waker at 4x Res with widescreen hack on if you want good frame rates. Do expect to run them at native/2x resolutions quite well with a few bells and whistles turned off. Although it doesn't have WIFI 6, I've had zero issues streaming my PS5 at the highest quality settings with multiple other devices connected at the same time. I can't wait for the GCloud 2, because this is an amazing first attempt at an oversaturated niche product.

Long battery life (12+ hours), beautiful screen, lightweight, emulators, moonlight, shadow, Android apps, streaming apps (Xbox, Xbox cloud, Luna, nVidia, Steam, PlayStation),… this thing plays all your favorite games, movies and shows without generating excessive fan noise or heat— it’s completely silent and heat free. It’s a streaming device so you’re not having to download and install large files but with a micro-sd card slot you can expand the storage to whatever you want. This is now my go to device! Bye bye Ally and Steam Deck, there’s a new kid in town.

I use it for both ps5 and xbox remote play. You need a 3rd party app for playstation but the device runs both systems flawless. I got to use while i wind down for bed. It’s a nice turn key solution to remote and cloud play. Xbox and cloud play went off without a hitch. PlayStation required a $4.99 app. Both consoles played flawless for me on this. Some may say for $50 more just get a steamdeck. I could be swayed to think that. If this unit was $200 and under it would be a much better device. That alone is the only reason for 4 stars. Logictech is still pushing out updates. The last update added screen button mapping for the android games that don’t support controllers natively.

I would like to say that first off I had a lot of fun with this in my experience with it. The aging chip it has inside of it was able to play most games very well and was sufficient in emulations up to PS1. With that being said, up to PS1 is all. This chip struggles with the new android games or with with any kind of emulation after PS1. The screen is great, it gets very bright and the 7 inch 1080p screen is wonderful. With the recent update of screen mapping the overall experience was ten fold now being able to easily configure the button to play games such as COD mobile with a breeze. If you are on the lookout for a good streaming/emulation device, the screen and recent update to include screen mapping has put this device back on the map in an otherwise plethora of devices with greater hardware specs!

Alright let me start by saying that yes I know the current state of the market with all the handhelds that exist. From the Odin, anbernics, onexplayer, retroid pockets, steam deck, nintendo switch, and the new razer edge. This is an android tablet with controllers buts in on assembly. This is not a computer! Please lets not compare this to the units that run Steam OS or windows. This is basically for users that want a built in controller for emulation, mobile gaming apps, and streaming/remote playinf sessions. This is for people who would rather not waste their PRIMARY PHONE BATTERY. I dont want to use a backbone, razer kishi, or one of thise third party phone holders for first party controllers. I want a dedicated system that has the controller built in that wont kill my phones battery or of course getting phone calls or notification while gaming. I know this is priced unfairly but you can find support for it with a return policy like bestbuy and deal with a “american company” with a warranty. Instead of buying something from a different country and having to wait months for support. This would make a good gift for someone who cant be on their gaming pc playing their favorite steam game or their favorite xbox game. As well for a very careful child/teenager. Who knows maybe someone wants to play an android game and use the built in controllers. This is good for what it is. You dont have to agree with the price but its ergo built is very comfortable and it calms your battery life anxiety. Hope this helps.

I was skeptical at first when purchasing this handheld but after spending a couple of months with it, totally worth!! It has been with me on numerous travel trips. Even with subpar internet, I have been able to enjoy games I own across a few different platforms. Geoforce Now is one of the main reasons that I have been playing and planning on keeping this product. The stream quality is really on another level. High quality graphics without maxing out the resources on this handheld. This saves so much battery and I'm still surprised after a long gaming session how much battery power I have left.
