Great mechanical keyboard for Mac, Ipad or Iphone!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm loving this keyboard. If you have ever experienced a mechanical keyboard on the PC space, you will know how much better of a typing experience they are compared to flimsy membrane keyboards or chiclet keycaps they normally use for laptops or macs. If you haven't, trust me, take the plunge and join the mechanical keyboard scene. This keyboard is amazing, the build quality is bar none, feels sturdy, aluminum I think. I love that you can connect up to 3 different devices via bluetooth low power and easily switch between them. The keyboard is also backlit, so lights up and you can see whatever you are typing on low light or at night, just hover your hand over and it will activate (would sleep to save power too). I know they mention is a wireless keyboard for macs, however being that it works with most modern apple OS's, you can also pair the keyboard with an iPad or iPhone too and ascend! They include a type C usb cable to charge it. They keys are low profile and they feel amazing to type on, they are what in the PC scene we would call a linear switch (meaning they don't have a tactile bump or loud click, just a smooth, linear travel). I highly recommend you upgrade to this mech keyboard, you will definitely feel the difference!

Another Winning Mac Keyboard from Logitech!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love keyboards and it’s always fun trying out new products! I was so excited to try out the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac! A little nostalgia from the 80's computer rooms never hurt anyone, and my wife says I need to stop slouching so mechanical keyboard it is! Opening the box I was impressed by the weight of this keyboard! Definitely a work from home / office keyboard and not something you’ll want to heft around in your backpack despite the otherwise convenient size and Bluetooth connectivity. It’s a solid feeling keyboard that doesn't take up much footprint on my desk. Ahh...that sound. Nothing like the click, clack of a mechanical keyboard. I had become a lazy typist in recent years and I found that my finger arch needed to be more prominent when using this keyboard. I think it helped my overall posture too as I had to sit up in my chair to get my arms at the correct height! My chiropractor bills thank you! I’ve said it once and I’ll continue shouting from the rooftops…Logitech makes the BEST multi device connectivity. I love that I was able to easily pair via Bluetooth to my Mac, PC and iPad and it takes a simple press of a button to toggle between the three. I tend to use all three devices in desktop mode with the same monitor and being able to use the same keyboard (and mouse) for all three is a tremendous time saver and helps reduce clutter. I love the backlight feature that turns on when my hands haver and the USB-C charging is super convenient. If you're a Mac user and looking for a mechanical keyboard with the Mac layout then look no further! Bravo Logitech!

Much better than the apple in keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a MacBook pro that is hooked up to an external display. I also have a few mechanical keyboards for windows PC’s I use. I also have the Mac Bluetooth keyboard as well. Before getting this keyboard every time, I needed to use the Mac and built-in keyboard or the Bluetooth one, I just didn’t like to type on it. If I had another keyboard hooked up, they are always for windows, so you must remember what key does what. Adding a mac mechanical keyboard that is also Bluetooth has made my overall experience much better. It was easy to setup (almost as easy as the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard, just need an extra app), and has a built-in rechargeable battery so no need to keep changing out batteries. Maybe it’s my bias for mechanical keyboard, but I would say this is the best option if you have a mac that is suited well for using an external keyboard. While I do like the keyboard, there are three things to note. First, the mechanical feel isn’t as great as other keyboards I’ve used. Its nice for typing, but its not as nice as some hardwired windows keyboards, I use. Second, the setup was simple, but it did tell me I should use a dongle to plug in, which is not included in the package. You get a USB-c cord for charging but setting up through the app tells you to use the dongle, but its not in the package. Third, you need to have the right setup to use an external keyboard. I will not use this if I move my MacBook around and don’t have a set place that it sits. Overall, I highly recommend this if you’re needing an external keyboard for your Mac.

Quality is great!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, after having this keyboard for a little over a week, I can say with confidence that it is a significant upgrade from my last one. I had a mini keyboard that I used for everything but found myself missing the arrow and F function keys. This keyboard was perfect for my situation, not full sized but not mini. The design is compact and sleek but does not leave you missing important keys. This keyboard also lets you pair with three different devices that you can switch from with a tap of a key. Seamless and time saving! I love this feature because it let's me pair my iPad, iMac, and even my Windows work computer all to one keyboard. Which leads to me to another great point. You can pair it with most Bluetooth enabled Windows devices!!!! So if you're like me, someone who primarily uses Mac and has one or two Windows devices, this keyboard can be a money saver and space saver. Also, aesthetic wise, this looks great with silver and white iMacs! The keys light up and have an adjustable brightness as well. The keys are not overly clicky, but I guess that's up to you and what you consider "too clicky" haha. Overall I'd say this is a great keyboard for not only Macs but Windows as well.

Great on the Go!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a keyboard for my MacBook only to play a game efficiently while I deployed and it works great. The charge on it is great and I’ve used it continuously in wireless mode without requiring a charge. I haven’t used it for production, but I will once I start school up. The backlight function is nice. It would be nice if it did have RGBY LED functions, but that’s just a personal preference. My wrist position was comfortable and you can have it lay completely flat on your desk or at a slight angle with the legs in the bottom. The response on the keys is great and the feel is very satisfying after using the keyboard on my MacBook and not feeling like I hit the keys despite the screen telling me otherwise. I recommend this to any Mac user. I haven’t tested the range as my living accommodations are quite small. Has a Logitech hub app that lets you manage all your Logitech products, haven’t had to use it, it doesn’t integrate with the G-Hub that the gaming mice use.

Mac-specific keys, no dongle included
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.## Design Logitech’s MX Keys keyboard is very popular, and it didn’t take long for Logitech to release the MX Keys Mini for those who wanted a more compact solution and didn’t mind the loss of the number keypad. Now that Logitech’s MX *Mechanical* keyboards are also becoming popular, they’ve also released this “Mini” version that offers a compact, portable design and the same “clicky” feel as the full-sized version. This particular keyboard is aimed at Mac users. It has a mostly white plastic exterior with a silver metallic accent plate located beneath the keys. It mimics the design of Apple’s keyboard well. This keyboard has some weight with it which is good for stability, but is something to keep in mind if you plan to pack this keyboard for travel or for your commute to the office. This keyboard does have backlighting but only in the white color (same as MX Keys), so no RGB color effects. However, there are some animation lighting effects you can access by pressing the “fn” key and the “lightbulb” key (volume down), same as the full-sized Logitech Mechanical keyboard. ## Performance Like the MX Keys, the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac keyboard is very comfortable and great to type on. Even though these are “Tactile Quiet” keys, it’s louder than MX Keys, but shouldn’t be a major distraction if you’re near your coworkers. There are additional keys for dictation, emoji, search and muting the microphone, but some of these functions require the Logi Options+ software to work. In my opinion, the Logi Options+ software is a bit bloated and loads at each restart, so I haven’t installed it on my Mac at this time. The basic functions of the keyboard works fine without the software. The MX Mechanical Mini keyboard connects to your Mac or your iPad via Bluetooth. It can also connect to a Logi Bolt receiver, but it’s important to note that the Logi Bolt receiver is not included with this “Mini for Mac” version of the keyboard. And also remember that Logitech devices using “Bolt” receivers do not mix with Logitech devices using “Unifying” devices. ## Battery Life The keyboard saves battery power by only lighting up when it senses your hands approaching, but I’ve walked by the room and noticed the keyboard lighting up on its own (similar to my MX Keys keyboard). With the backlighting on, the keyboard can last up to 15 days or up to 10 months with the backlight turned off. The keyboard is recharged with in included USB-C to USB-C cable (please note that the non-Mac version typically comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable). Data is not passed through the cable, therefore this keyboard cannot be used as a “wired” keyboard. ## Summary The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac keyboard is very comfortable to type on, but is a little louder (and “clickier”) than the MX Keys. This version contains Mac-specific keys and white-and-silver styling, but there is also a “regular” MX Mechanical Mini version available that has key labeling for both Mac and PC. You can switch between 3 Mac, iPad or iPhone devices via Bluetooth, but this keyboard uses Logitech’s newer “Bolt” nano receiver which is not included in this “Mini for Mac” version.

Great Mechanical Keyboard for Select Users
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure that'd like like this keyboard, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's been a while since I've typed on old-school, chunky keys, but it provides a nice typing experience I had all but forgotten. If you're a Mac user and haven't bought a 3rd-party keyboard in a decade or more, you may have forgotten just how much keys used to move. This keyboard brings that 2-3x key travel back, housed in a compact footprint (about 1.5 key-widths wider). Keys are slightly larger, with deeper indentations to help you find and hit keys a bit easier too. This is the kind of thing a writer or programmer may especially appreciate. The overall keyboard is thicker too, at about 3/4" at the front to about 1" thick at the back. This is considerably thicker than a modern iMac keyboard, so keep that in mind. It also had fold out back feet to place this at an angle for better ergonomics (which I'd recommend!) - Also, USB-C charging! Some things to note, however... this keyboard makes a decent amount of typing noise, that may bother an office-mate or family members in the same room. Logitech claims that it's a quiet experience, but that must be relative to even louder varieties. I also enjoy that this model has backlighting which is very useful at night, though a bit less helpful at dusk as the backlighting can cause keys to be harder to read under the right circumstances - you can always adjust this lighting pretty easily and it comes on automatically based on light and proximity, which is nice. Lastly, as far as I can tell, you cannot easily control your mac's display brightness from this keyboard. This is likely doable through customization software that Logitech provide, but did not interest me. Those keys are instead used for quick device switching on this keyboard. I would have also liked if Logitech used a finer metal texture on its aluminum/metal accent plate, it's not as fine as what you get on a mac and shimmers a bit more. It's a small nit, and not one you'll likely notice for long, but it stood out initially. Overall, I'm happily surprised and would recommend to anyone looking for a more substantial mac-keyboard alternative! I received this product as part of a review program, in exchange for an honest review.

High-Performance Masterpiece
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech MX keyboard is an absolute game-changer in the world of keyboards. Its build quality is top-notch, offering a perfect blend of style and durability. The keys are impeccably responsive and quiet, making typing a sheer pleasure, even for prolonged periods. Notably impressive is the multi-device functionality, allowing seamless switching between devices, enhancing productivity for those multitasking across several gadgets. The keyboard's battery life is exemplary, outshining all previous models I've used, and the customizable keys add a delightful personal touch. Despite a higher price tag, the exceptional comfort, performance, and unique features make this keyboard worth every penny. If you're seeking an exceptional typing experience, look no further than the Logitech MX keyboard.

Solid keyboard!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I love the 65% keyboard style. It works well in most spaces, where a full sized normally would not fit. Build quality is fine, no complaints or issues from what I have seen in my day-to-day use. You can hook up this keyboard to up to 3 devices and switch between them all very easily, which I love. This day and age, most households have more than one device that could be improved with an actual keyboard, so this is a very handy feature. As far as the Bluetooth connection, I have had zero issues with connectivity, which is a breath of fresh air. This goes with my iPad and MacBook pro. For software, you will need Logi Options+ (NOT Logitech Options). I do have to say that it is a bit confusing and frustrating we must distinguish between the two. I would like to see all Logitech products go through ONE piece of software in the future. Also, the lack of storage for the bolt receiver is a bit of a miss, but not a deal breaker. The key travel and sound are ideal for me and can be used in a work environment without disturbing those around you, which is a huge plus. There are six modes for lighting which is a nice touch for customization. Nice job there! This keyboard does come with a 1 year warranty through Logitech, which is for the most part standard, but VERY nice to have. It puts the mind at ease. Overall, this is an excellent 65% keyboard that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Mac keyboard.

Fingers do leave grease smudges which can be annoying but these can easily wiped off. Has the mechanical feel and click. Also has the feel of high quality material.

High build quality, but $$$. Unneeded features.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded in the wider version of this keyboard for this one, which was too wide for me. I like the width of this one a lot more. However, the software issues persist (Logitech app cannot detect the keyboard to update software, my settings do not save) just like on the wider model. Value is even lower on this non-Mac model because you lose the dongle and many buttons. I am happy to lose them as they were of no use to me, but I think the price difference should reflect this better. I find it frustrating to type with these keys. I hit a LOT of wrong keys. Perhaps if you have larger hands than I do you will not have this issue. Build quality is high, battery lasts a long time and key sound is satisfying. Backlight is useful for sure. Mac version gets you a USB-C cable over USB-A, which is a plus for Mac users. Note that the satisfying key strokes come with added noise. If you type while talking on the phone it can be loud for the other person. I like that it lets them know I am working while we talk, but it could be bothersome to some.

Wonderful Portable Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used Logitech keyboards for many years, and I’ve always enjoyed their quality. I was looking for a replacement for the cheap keyboards I had been getting for use with my iPad, and I came across this one. It’s high quality, feels very nice to use, and it’s even got lighting. I’m also pleased that it is rechargeable and has a power switch. No complaints so far!
