We bought this steamer as a replacement for another Bissell steamer that we can no longer get supplies for (SteamBoost, I believe it was called) We have so far mostly used in our bedroom in the basement, as we have two huskies there as well. Having rainy weather lately has allowed us to see how it really works. First off, make sure you sweep the floor. It doesn't have to be perfect, as there is a vacuum on this, but the waste container may not be able to handle alot, especially if you have dogs like we do. It has three different clean options, but I've really only used the steam option, although I used the standard clean as well once when I first used it. It seemed to do well, but the steam option I've used the most. We have peel and stick tile in the basement, and want to keep it as clean and sanitized as possible. It takes about 30 seconds for it to start steaming when that option is selected. Pretty reasonable time. Cleaning is pretty simple. Hold the trigger down to release the steam and cleaner. The spin brush scrubs the floor and vacuums up the excess into the dirty water container. The first time I used it on the cleaner only option, it picked up a bit. When I used it on the steamer option for the first time, it sucked up soooooo much dirt. The bottom of the dirty water collected looked very dirty, and in fact has about a 1\4 of dirt in the bottom. It also collected dog hair I missed. The dirty water container is easy to empty. There is a separate plastic tray you can pull out and clean that collects the solid items. The container is also very easy to clean up. It's very open, so all you need is hot water and down the drain it goes. You should also clean the roller after each use. They have a special cleaner that is included with the unit, which should last you about 3-4 uses. Before you empty the dirty water, you will want to run this cycle, so you only need to empty the dirty water once. Just pour the cleaner in the tray, set the steamer in the tray, then press the button, and in about 30 seconds, you will have a clean roller. There is also a slot on the tray you put the roller to dry after this cycle is completed. The roller comes out easily. So far, this has been a great addition to our cleaning tools. We have a Spinwave that is used on a separate floor, and they can use the same solution, which is very convenient. This Crosswave does it's job and gets my floors cleaned.

Overall, I like it. It cleans the floors good but it doesn't do much for the grout on tile. The width is a bit narrow so it takes a litter long for bigger spaces. The cleanup afterwards is also a bit time consuming but the machine definitely makes the floors more clean that simply mopping.

Does the job. Easy to use. Clean up and storage simple.

Amazing machine. Warm NY winter and three huskys coming in and out of the house caking thr floors with mud. Vacxum first with the dyson to get all the hair then hit the floors with the crosswave and they are clean with two pads. Done. Love it

Love this floor cleaner!!!! This is my 3rd one, I keep upgrading!

I was hoping to love this product since if it did, it would make my life so much easier. The vacuum itself works great but the steam mop part is terrible. The dirty tank can only hold about 2 cups of dirty water so youre going to spend a lot of time emptying it before youre done cleaning. Also it leaks the dirty water sometimes so you're stuck with a nasty puddle on your floor. Overall for the price I wouldn't recommend.

Sorry but this item did not work for me. There was so much water left on the floor after I ran it across my wooden floors
