I bought this HP Envy 6065e printer to replace a 10 year + old HP Envy 4500 printer. At first I set the printer up with Wi-Fi using the HP smart app on my laptop and I found that the printer would lose the Wi-Fi connection at times - the printer would go "offline". Not alway easy to get it to reconnect when it does that. So then I experimented with different ways of connecting the printer to my laptop. I had a left over USB cable from my last printer (HP Envy 4500) so, ultimately, I reset the printer and set it up to connect soley to the USB via the HP smart app directly to my laptop. At one point in the set up process using the HP smart app you can choose to not set up with Wifi and press the "?" and it will offer to connect in other ways. I chose the USB option. Once I got it installed and connected it works great with the USB. It doesn't lose the connection. Then I turned off the Wifi radio with the little button on the back and I also turned off direct wifi and the low energy bluetooth via the advanced settings on the HP Smart app (can also be done from the printer pressing a combination of buttons) since I won't be needing it with it connected by USB to my laptop. I only plan on printing from my laptop so all is good like that for me. I did not sign up for HP+ or for the free ink since I am a light ink user. I do have an HP account so I logged into that so I could use the Scan feature which works fine. You could also set up the printer with Wifi and then attach USB cable and set that up but I elected to ultmately do it the way I did it - just creating a USB installation. All that aside, I think it is a very nice printer. It prints really well and is reasonably fast. It holds 100 pages of paper in a little drawer that shuts closed. The printer is very compact. The HP 67 set up ink it comes with seems to last a good while - I've read that these have less ink than the normal HP cartridges you can buy in the store but they have already printed a lot and they are still half full. I did order a two pack of HP 67 cartridge for when it does run out - a tri color and black cartridges. I like that the HP 67 ink cartridges are cheaper than the HP 61 ink cartridges my envy 4500 used. The printer uses a light bar and sounds to communicate various functions. It doesn't have a screen - just buttons, lights and sounds and after playing with a little bit and knowing what the symbols stand for it's pretty simple to understand. It's a simple printer. I'm experiementing with keeping the printer on all the time - I have it set to go into sleep mode after 5 minutes. I'm hoping this will make the ink last longer but I'll see how it goes. There is a light bar where the printed paper comes out of. This light cannot be turned off but the light can be dimmed. To do that, open the HP smart app, go to "Printer Settings" then "Advanced Settings", then press Settings and Display Settings, and then you can move the slider over to the lowest position on the left and then press "Apply". This will dim the light. Anyway, overall, a very nice and very affordable printer once I got it connected in a way that works for my usage.

I am extremely happy with our new printer. It came with new ink cartridges and very easy to follow instructions. We were able to set up our WiFi connection, done so we can print from our phones wirelessly, in a matter of minutes. The unit itself is aesthetically appealing and is relatively compact in size. The most important feature is the great quality of prints. Pictures and printed documents are clear and crisp. This is a great deal for a very reasonable price .

Honestly, this is one of the few printers that I haven’t had 100 issues with. It was really easy to setup, probably took less than 5 minutes? Even a baby could do it! The app is really user friendly and has many features but you are able to use it without the app! It does require wifi, however, that makes everything easier as you are able to print directly from your phone (for example, if you want to print something directly from a photos app on iphone). Besides the easy setup and use, it also is very characteristic. It makes lots of adorable sounds when you do different things and it has different color lights to go along. When you are printing, it honestly reminds me of a rainbow carwash (I know, very weird way to put it). It amazingly prints really well which you wouldn’t normally expect for a printer of its price range. We have another printer that’s well over 3x this printers values and honestly, they both print very similar quality which really says something. It doesn’t take up too much space and is honestly a really good printer for the average person, especially college students like myself! :)

This printer is great! I love how easy it was to set up through my WiFi and it is completely wireless to my computer and prints wonderfully. Very sleek and stylish. It’s low profile, light weight, and has beautiful ambient colors when not in use.

I am enjoying my new printer! I love the sleek design and the ability to print wirelessly. There is also a neat feature that allows you to scan multiple pages at once. The HP print subscription has been clutch and very convenient. There are easy to follow step by stepninstructions for your phone amd computer. I only had one small issue where it would not print or turn off after pressing the power button multiple times. However, it resolved on its own. So far Ia very pleased woth rhis printer, it's quality and features. I would definitely recommend!

My main objective when searching for a printer was for it to be a “small” one, and this one is super cute and compact—it doesn’t take up much space at all, which is perfect for my small space. Love this printer. Quiet, fast, small but powerful. The print is excellent. Love the cartridges so easy to replace. The paper holder feature is great. You can “store” it when not using and so easy to pull out. The cartridge replacement plan is outstanding. Takes away the worries about when I need to reorder cartridges and I know I’m getting the correct one.

I’m glad I chose this all in 1 printer Hp 6000 my second one in more than 10 years the best price, easy to set up and prints out everything i need no delays and also great pic’s don’t need Walgreens anymore thank you Hp and Best Buy.

So far this is the best multi-use printer I have owned! It lives up to HP’s print quality standards and the 6 month ink trial is a great way to back their product’s performance. Easy to install, and easy to set up. The only downside is when it is consistently on, it tends to have a high pitched data transfer sound, as if it was an early 2000’s fax machine. Other than that, the printer works flawlessly with several different types of paper, and even printing photos.

Great purchase and on sale, too! The printer is quiet, lightweight, and fits in a small space. Setting it up though was a little difficult because there is a very small button on the back that was hard to locate in order to connect with the wifi. Had to have a neighbor come over to find it.

Compact size is great. Black and white prints fast, color is very slow but great quality.

I browsed many reviews of many printers as i do all things i purchase. In the case of this printer I definitely lucked out. The review process worked in my favor. This printer is super easy to use, the setup couldnt have been more simple. Thanks for making an affordable and great product.

I was hesitant to buy it because this reviews were not saying good things but i am happy i got it. So here is my two cents. If you buy it just be sure you have an account already on HP+ so download the app before anything. You should have at least one sheet for calibration while being setting it up. It takes time but is not complicated if you follow instructions. Ok, so for the subscription thing, YOU DON’T HAVE TO suscribe but if you don’t you would have to be buying cartridges for about 50+ buck for both cartridges you need ( b/w and tri) if you end up subscribing like I did it offers different plans based upon how much you print during the month. So, if you print like 10 pages per month you would pay like 3 dlls and get new cartridges fill with ink based on how much you print and also has a feature that you can print more. Btw. It does need wifi connection in order to work but just for printing, for making copies it doesn’t. And the copies you make they don’t count as your printing plan. Last the printing is like 8/10 some minor details and picture printing is good not the best but you can make it a tiny bit better with options quality under your phone or app.

This printer is of comparable quality to other printers in its price range. The setup process was particularly impressive, taking only approximately 5 minutes to complete. Thus far, I have not encountered any significant drawbacks. Additionally, printing via phone or app is a straightforward process.

I love HP printers, but especially this one. It’s smaller than most printers so it doesn’t take up a huge portion of where it sits, the HP SmartApp makes printing so convenient and their print plan is definitely a money saver. It monitors ink usage and sends replacements even los so you never have to bother with buying $50 cartridges with a simple $6.99 membership. So convenient.
