This pretty much cleans air very quickly compared to the small one from Shark which I have

Have only had it for a few weeks so kind of hard to tell how well it works so far.

Seemed to work fine for about 3 months. After 3 months (and after the return period ended), it suddenly reads 0% air quality. There are no strange environmental issues that would cause that reading. I've tried the troubleshooting tips but nothing helps. I hope the warranty process is easy but expect that I will be charged shipping costs related to shipping it back to the manufacturer. I would not buy it again.

So far, works well. Cleans the air! I like that i can dem the lights on it.

There are many things to like about this new air purifier from Shark, but there are also things that can be improved. Functionally, it works very well as you would expect from any air purifier. To start with the positives, it is very easy and intuitive to use. The touch buttons makes sense without needing a manual, and the display that shows your air quality can be very informative and easy to understand. There are two side mesh panels that can collect large particles and can be removed for washing. Chancing the main air filter is also simple as you will notice when removing the plastic covers during installation. Their scent features is also well placed and you smell it working immediately anytime the unit is running. The auto run feature is interesting to say the least. You would expect it to only run when the quality is bad, but it basically runs even when it says 100% quality. Not all the time, but at least 2-3 times a day which is more than my other auto detect air purifier in the same room. Personally, I do not mind since it does odor neutralizing but it would have been nice to be able to customize this setting. For improvements, there are many minor ones to list. For starters, the handles are unintuitive. There are two on the side that looks like they are for carrying, but in reality they are for removing the side mesh panels. What you have to do is carry it with the singular handle in the back, making it awkward and unbalanced when moving it around. So if you plan to move this quite a bit, maybe look elsewhere or deal with the inconvenience. Another complaint is the info display - it is either on or off. When you have the unit set to auto, the display stays on even if the unit is not running. There should be a setting to not display when not running, it just feels unnecessary to see 100% air quality for no reason. If you were looking for a whisper quiet fan, this may not be the right choice. At level 1, it is ok. But level 2 is not only quite a bit louder, the bearings on the fan rattle just a tiny bit. Finally, their claims on the longer lasting filters shouldn't really be a selling point. They are essentially saying the HEPA filter lasts longer because there are some additional outer layers to block larger particles before hitting the inner HEPA layer. We don't know what their "competitor" filters are being compared against. It also says the filter doesn't need changing, but then also says for 5 years? These are misleading advertising specifications and shouldn't be a factor when making your purchasing decision. Overall, aside from a few complaints, the unit itself does its job as a purifier decently. The automatic feature will give you a peace of mind, and the size of the unit gives it much more impact wherever it is used.

Plugged it in and it said my air was 95% clean already so not sure it it was actually working or not. After running a couple of hours it made a loud noise.

I just got this purifier today. It has been plugged in and running for about 6 continuous hours. It has not gotten above 70% in 6 hours. Our house is about a total of 1400 square feet so maybe that's why its only gotten to 70. Who knows. I guess I'll keep running it and see how it goes.

It was great for a few months. Now it seems to reset to air quality of 0 every morning, then takes literally the whole day to get back to 100, then repeat everyday. Nothing in our home has changed…. For $300 it should last longer than a few months…

I purchased this almost a year ago and have never had it work 100% correctly. For months it has said that air quality is 0% regardless of following the troubleshooting methods of cleaning the back sensor and the mesh dust screens, even vacuuming the filter. Pretty disappointed in this product.

The NeverChange Air Purifier is larger than any purifier we've owned and I was skeptical because of that, but now knowing we won't have to change the main HEPA filter for 5 years is totally worth it. To accomplish that there are mesh dust filters on each side of the unit that easily slide in and out. They can simply be cleaned with a vacuum attachment or cloth. It hasn't been long enough for us to need to clean them yet, but watching the youtube video provided by Shark, it looks very simple. I would highly recommend scanning the QR code on the front of the unit to get to the various tutorials and instruction booklet. So far our purifier has been running quietly on its own showing 100% on the air quality so we haven't needed to do much with it. We haven't had an event that's needed to ramp up the fan speed either, but manually testing the max does get quite loud, but I don't anticipate the unit ever having to run very long at that speed. So overall we are quite pleased and as I mentioned, the big draw to Shark and this unit is the savings from not needing air filters every 6 months, etc. We are very happy and will look at getting another unit for the rest of our home.

I have more dog here in my house than ever I returned this once already, and still having problems with them

Seems to work a few days, others I don’t notice a difference in vanishing the smells.

This is a true honest opinion of actual buyer. Don't believe other fake reviews. My daughter has allergies and this didn't do a good job at removing smells or pet dander at all. I've used for 4 days now. My old vollara air pro works way better. Guess I'll be getting another one

The Shark - NeverChange Air Purifier MAX is a great little air purifier. Setting the unit up was pretty simple. The fact that I don't need to change a filter every few months is a huge bonus. The unit itself is very quiet and hasn't been a distraction for us when watching TV or surfing the web in the comfort of our bedroom. Our air quality where we live is actually pretty good, however, with the way wildfires have been this year I can feel a little bit of relief that this unit is able to help mitigate that. That being said, I think this unit is best for people that live in smaller houses/apartments near cities. Being out in the country, I don't feel like I'm seeing the full benefits of this unit. One thing that is really helpful is that this helps with my allergies quite a bit. There are many air purifiers on the market, I see this one as a great buy for people that want to sleep better that suffer from allergies. The cost of the unit, the square footage it covers make this a pretty good buy for anyone that wants to improve the quality of their air.

Have had it for less then 3 weeks and already only reads 0% and runs non stop . Did all the trouble shooting and still reads 0%. Will randomly go to 100% for a couple minutes them go right back to 0%. Not happy and already past the return window . Guess best but only does 3 weeks now
