Nice quality for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this camera to be able to do remote physician and therapy visits from home. Picture is clear, non-pixelated and great quality for the price. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a moderately priced camera for home or remote office use. The only downside was that the monitor I have doesn't really have an anchor point so I did have to secure it in place with some "Command Strip" Velcro. There could be some improvements done in that area.

Certainly an upgrade to any laptop webcam.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I commend Logitech for being environmentally conscious. While the camera’s funnel shape design and speckled color may not appeal to all, I’ve grown fond of it overtime. I found the design language is rather functional in many aspects but lacking in others. I certainly welcome the lid-based privacy cover which not all have. The mount is easy to place virtually anywhere on top of most screens, but unfortunately there is no tripod screw for alternate positioning. It’s also strange that the camera can only move up and down but not side to side, which makes one stay always in the center view. This camera has a USB-C only cable connection, and unfortunately does not come with a USB-A adapter, as some others include at this price range, so please keep that in mind when considering. Also, the 5ft cable might be a bit too short, and can barely reach my under-the-table tower from my 32” monitor. The picture quality is decent. It is certainly ten times better than most laptops. The 1080p/30Hz cam does a good job in showing clear pictures in a well-lit environment. There is only minimal noise in shadowy or black areas. There is only a slight ghosting effect when moving fast. Unfortunately, there is a lot of graininess in darker environments, so I strongly recommend using a forward-facing light or lamp. If you place the light on one side, it can make the entire picture look washed out. The cam has good viewing angles for showing more than one person. Another thing to note is that there is no auto-focus at all, so one must keep at least 4ft away to stay in focus. The single mono microphone is rather good. While it lacks a bit of body and bass, it does capture voices very well and clearly -even above 10 feet away from it. Unfortunately, it also captures a lot of ambient noise, so be careful when pounding on those keyboards. I recommend downloading the Logitech Logi Tune app for your Mac or Windows PC. There, you can easily manage some basic picture controls such as brightness and exposure, as well as adding filters. In the end, I think this is a budget-friendly upgrade to any basic laptop webcam and works well with all major online meeting platforms. However, if you are looking for a more professional result, such as in streaming or webcasting, perhaps looking into a higher end set up may be a better option.

Easily one of the best webcams!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech Brio 300 Full HD webcam is easily one of the best webcams available in the market. It’s super easy to use and produces video of high quality. Here are some key features and reasons why it’s one of the best. Installation ------------- Installation process is very simple - just plug-and-play. Connect it to any of the USB-C port on your computer and it is good to go. Also, you can install Logi Tune app to customize video experience with color adjustments and image quality settings. Video Quality -------------- This is a 1080p 30 fps 2MP Full HD webcam and provides a clear and natural video image. Video at the other end is crisp and clear. One of its amazing feature is the Auto-light correction, which produces a relatively clear video even under poor lighting conditions. Mic Quality ------------ I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of its mic. It produces a clear and true sound and the people at the other end could hear me loud and clear. This is most useful when connecting to a PC that does not have an in-built mic. When used with a laptop with mic or with a headset with mic, this doesn’t impede. Features --------- This comes with a privacy shutter to block the camera when not in use. This is especially helpful when logging into meetings accidentally with video-on. Also, there is a LED indicator that glows when the webcam is in use. Use-case --------- One may wonder, I have a laptop with camera, then why a webcam? I always use my monitor as my main display. And laptop is angled to the side. During video calls it always seem I never face the camera. By connecting a webcam, I can look into the monitor and still face the camera straight. Also, for computers without camera, this is a must have. This doubles as a mic as well. Compatibility -------------- I have used this webcam with Google Meet, Microsoft teams and Zoom and had no issues on any of these applications. This works with Windows OS, Mac OS and Chrome OS. Connectivity ------------- The connector is a USB-C type rather than the regular USB. This may work to one’s benefit or vice-versa depending on the available ports on your computer. One of my laptops has 2 USB ports and 1 USB-C port whereas the other one has 1 USB and 2 USB-Cs. So, I use a USB Hub with USB-C port. USB to USB-C convertor also works to connect it to a USB port if needed. Conclusion ----------- Overall, I am quite happy and satisfied with this webcam and I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend it.

The Best Webcam at this Price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who works remotely, I need a reliable, great quality webcam. The Logitech Brio 300 is an easy choice for any remote worker/anyone who needs a webcam with a few caveats. It’s a great price for beautiful video quality (as long as it’s not too dark in the room), has a fun design, and I love the field of view not making my face too large or too small. Also, USB device support for Chromebooks can be hit or miss so seeing that it supports it on the box is fantastic. Video quality is obviously going to be the most important part of a webcam and like I mentioned above, it knocks it out of the park, especially for the price! I found the mic quality however to be just ok. People could hear me, but it lacked the crispness that you can get from Logitech’s more expensive models that have stereo mics. This isn’t a deal breaker for me as I use a headset anyways, but it’s something to be aware of if you don’t. One thing that really stood out to me was that the light indicator on the device is quite large and bright, I kept finding myself distracted in meetings by the brightness of it. Would love to see it customizable. And maybe it is in the LogiTune app, but unfortunately it requires admin privileges to install and we do not have that on our work computers so I wasn’t able to do all of the video and audio tweaking that I wanted to do which is unfortunate. Overall though, for the price, this is an easy buy, especially if you have a headset that you use for your conference calls. You’ll look great and I felt it handled my skin tone pretty well whereas other cheaper webcams have white balanced my brown skin to look pretty white. Pros: Great Price 1080p Video Quality Perfect field of view for conference calls (70 Degree FOV) Decent Light correction Fun design Works with Chromebooks! Cons: Mic quality is just ok Privacy shutter is kinda fiddly compared to a tradition flap Camera indicator light is unnecessarily bright and large LogiTune requires admin privileges to install

Easy to use web camera
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Brio is a nice, web cam that attaches to your monitor or could attach to the top of your laptop. Like most web cams it has a kind of clamp feature to attach to the ledge of your monitor. Plugs in with USB-C. This is simple camera, with a clear picture. I could immediately see that the pan was wider than my old web cam. It connected seamlessly to Microsoft Teams and when I asked others in a meeting how my picture was everyone said it was super clear and they could see more. They also mentioned it was brighter. All around it’s a win at an easy price point. I absolutely love the little plastic flip to cover the lens. I have seen people’s camera get hacked before at work and since I work from home I want to make sure no one sees me unless I want them to. I do wish someone would figure out a better way to mount this to your monitor or screen, these cameras just don’t seem secure, you certainly can’t bump them without it moving and the view changing. But, a little messing around with it and it works just fine. Overall this feels like a basic web cam, but a nice web cam, with a crisp, bright, and clear picture. If your in the market this is a solid choice.

Solid 1080p Webcam
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About the Logitech Brio 300 Webcam The Logitech Brio 300 is a full HD webcam with a plug and play installation. It’s certified for MS Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom. Unlike recent Logitech webcams with a rectangular casing, this model uses a cone-shaped casing. It has a clip-on style mount. Installation The installation of the webcam is straight forward. Clip the camera to your preferred location, plug in the USB-C cable, open the privacy lens cover, and download the Logi Tune software. Note that it uses a USB-C cable, so you will need to have a way to connect this type of cord to your computer. The Logi Tune software provides a way to control the camera while allowing for continuous software updates. Video Quality The webcam is a full HD (1080p), 30 frames per second, 2 megapixel device. It has low-light and auto-light correction. When tested the picture was solid without any jitter. Quality was better than our last two laptops with an integrated camera. The color on the Brio 300 was also more vivid than the integrated laptop cameras. Note that this camera is a full HD, not 4K. There are other cameras available with higher resolution than this one. If that’s something that you are looking for Logitech has other options at a higher price point to provide 4k resolution. This one works as advertised to provide a full HD image. Audio Quality The Brio 300 has an integrated microphone. Using work meetings, I was able to verify that my voice sounded clear on the other end. This webcam has noise suppression technology to drown out background noises and help keep the focus on your voice. Privacy A lens cover is provided to guarantee visual privacy when you do not want to be onscreen. Overall The Brio 300 does everything that it advertises. It provides good image quality in full HD and clear audio with its integrated microphone. The installation is easy, and Logitech includes a typical privacy function. With its solid performance I am giving it 5 stars.

Simplicity wins
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Brio 300 is a little different than webcams I’ve owned in the past. I am not missing the days when every computer peripheral I bought came with a special driver to install and moderately useless app to take advantage of all features. The Brio 300 was truly a near-instant plug & play. It was recognized and in use in seconds. Nothing to download, nothing to install. There is the “Logi Tune” app which offers image adjustments and makes firmware updates easy. As I should have expected, this is another device which connects with a built-in USB-C cable, which means it will have to compete with other obstinate devices for my single USB-C port until I spring for a hub. The shape is odd. It is conical, reminiscent of an old CRT, with the camera lens in the center of the large end. It looks kind of strange because the lens is very small in relation to the face of the unit. (see photo 1) The shape doesn’t bother me, except that it is a tad bulky in my laptop bag. Other cams I have used were more compact. The privacy cover is a gem in simple design. It operates smoothly, lightly clicks when in position, and because the lens is set in from the surface, it is safe from being scraped by the cover. Fancier, slick-looking mechanisms may seem higher-tech, but this is what “good design” means. (see photos 2 & 3) Attaching to my laptop screen was also simple, yet effective. This is the first webcam of many I have owned that did not require a lot of fiddling around to get it to stay in place. There is a white “On” light on the face of the unit. I had thought that it was used to illuminate in low light, but it really doesn’t help, and is bright to the point that it is annoying and distracting. A dimmer blue or red led would have been a far better choice. At 1080p, streaming, picture, and video (30fps) quality are good. I expected better, but perhaps I have become spoiled by 4k video. Just keep in mind that this is a webcam, and not a document scanner. It couldn’t capture text from my iPhone that was readable. Overall, this is a good, no-nonsense webcam that most people with basic-to-moderate needs will be happy with.

Great Little Camera
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech - Brio 300 is a definitely a great little camera. Installation & setup was a breeze. The Logi Tune app provides all the controls one would need to optimize the clarity & brightness of the image. Upon installing this software I saw the availability of a firmware update for the Brio 300 and proceeded to install it. It was super quick and completed without any issues. The easily slide-out-of-way Privacy Shutter is really handy and I prefer this type vs. say a slider control. The Logitech - Brio 300 comes with a cable 60 inches in length (5 feet) and terminated with a USB-C connector. Yes! Overall I'm really happy with this webcam. It solves an issue I have with a gaming laptop with no integrated cam. Windows 11 detected it without issue and it works with Discord, Skype and Zoom flawlessly. Some might complain about this only being a 1080p device but I think it's more than adequate for what I do... and the sensor in it is solid! Much, much better than most the 720p junk built into so many computers... still until this day. It is light weight, easy to position, stays put! and does what it is designed to do perfectly. It looks to be extremely well constructed and I don't see any problems tossing this into a bag & taking it on-the-go. The Logi Tune software is modern and intuitive. The privacy shutter is simple but elegant for the design. This thing is all Pros and no Cons. Highly recommended.

Small but mighty webcam
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first opened the box for the Logitech - Brio 300, I though I was going to be extremely disappointed because the camera itself is very, very small - especially in comparison to other webcams I have used in the past. But, wow, was I wrong! The Logitech Brio 300 may be small, but it is a GREAT webcam. First of all, it has a USB-C connector which is a huge plus since I don't have many USB-A slots on my Studio. The camera is very lightweight - almost too lightweight to get it to stay on my center monitor. But, once situated and secured on the screen - this webcam really shines brightly. The picture, color, and clarity are all exceptional -- especially for a webcam at this price point. I tried using both the internal microphone and my AirPods for audio and I must say, while it's not terrible, the audio quality isn't superb. I am in Teams or Zoom meetings nearly all day and I was given the feedback that I sounded either muffled or like I was too far away from the microphone. Not terrible, but nothing special. The camera also includes a very easy-to-use privacy shield that just slides over the lens when not in use. The camera has a bright white light to let you know when it is in use. Overall, I am really impressed with this webcam and would highly recommend it.

Decent webcam for your home office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent webcam for those that want a good quality picture with built-in mic without having to go all out. Maybe for your home office? The Brio 300 works with the LogiTune software to adjust the picture settings including exposure, low light compensation, white balance, anti-flicker, brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness. Plenty of options to get the perfect picture for your viewers. Low light compensation works great, this is a must for being someone that works and lives in low lit environments (eyes are sensitive to bright light). The built-in mic is pretty good. Noise cancelling mic reduces/removes unwanted ambient sound (say like removing the sound of a window air conditioner running in the bedroom across the hall from my listeners, thank you) so your listeners hear and focus on you when you speak. The camera mounts on top of a monitor and can only adjust up and down, this is the only con that I come up with for the device. If you need something basic with high quality for your home office or are starting in the business of being a content creator/influencer, I would recommend the Bio 300.

Great for work from home use
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently received a fully remote job and used part of my office setup stipend to get a spare webcam, even though my M3 MacBook Air has a built-in FaceTime camera. I’m glad I did, especially with Logitech’s Earth Day promotion. This webcam is straightforward and sits easily on my external monitor while shining with its 1080p/30 quality and USB-C compatibility, perfect for Zoom calls, Google Meets, and other video meetings. It’s not for professional streaming, but for everyday work calls, it’s reliable and clear. Highly recommend!

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.okay, needed a webcam since others keep asking me to use one. i don't need something crazy like 60 fps or 4k, just something that can mount on my thick monitor and has a privacy shutter. this webcam checked those boxes. it also doesn't overlap the bezels and plugs in via USB-C which I don't use often, which is nice.
