Small, but in the best way possible!! You can fit it in small places and then additionally the black color works well in most rooms! The performance is just as good as previous shark generations. Having the ability to clean the filter mesh is a game changer in not recycling the filter every 6 months. I have two corgis and I notice the difference each day when it’s off and on. I just wish they had a remote or smart features to turn off at night.

This product has been doing its job I purchased the small in black my wife use to complain about when she cooked the smell would linger around so I purchased two shark ai purification and now no more smells of odors the air quality is clear suffer from allergies not no more it doesn’t matter what ever fumes are in the air this product will help reduce air borne polluted pollen this is my personal experience no paid advertisement it’s ver easy to use and set up cleaning is a snap would definitely recommend to everybody

Great air purifier runs quietly we have cats and dogs in house helps alot with the pet dander and the air is so much better we can tell a great difference you need this if you have fur baby's

I can feel that my air is way cleaner. Ever since I moved in to my apartment it always had a nasty smell of cigarettes. time is going by and I ain’t smelling that dirty smell no more anytime I go into the apartment. I can totally sense the difference!

Unit seems to be working just fine. Can feel the difference in air quality in bedroom. Turns on more when odors are detected, best of all its whisper quite.

This is the second one of these filters i buy. Their ability to clean the air is awesome. Especially cooking smells. I love these devices.

I was checking different air purifiers before getting this one but after much though I went for it. I’d say it’s good value for money since you don’t have to change filter for a long time which can be so costly. Overall function is great, works well for our apartment and the odor neutralizer feature is perfect if you are cooking

The most straightforward and best air purifier I’ve owned. Highly recommended! Just don’t forget to remove the filter from the plastic. lol

I would say that if the filter lasts for 5 years, you never turned it on. Or it was used in a clean room environment. Granted that I live close to an airport and there is a lot of dust that flies around. My filter only lasted 4 months. The product works ok. It does take a lot of particles and orders out of the air but…….. Five years sound like false advertising to me. I have a one bedroom apartment with an air purifier in the bedroom and the shark is on the counter separating the kitchen and living room. You be the judge.

I have 4 cats and couldn’t live without this air cleaner! You can’t tell that cats live in my small 2 bedroom house. Planning on purchasing another!

Great, product not so loud and a decent size . It is quite big for a small room but for big open living rooms or apartments does not seem to large.

Too many other filters out there only have a 3-6 months lifespan and the prospect of not having to worry about frequent filter replacements is a breath of fresh air both literally and figuratively. The convenience of a 5-year filter lifespan not only saves time and effort but also proves to be very cost effective in the long run. Setting up the air purifier was a breeze, just plug it in and start using the user-friendly touch controls. This makes it super easy to customize the settings according to my preferences, that being said it would have been nice if this had a smartphone app, a remote control or a smart assistant integration for voice controls. The intuitive interface allows for effortless adjustment of fan speeds and operation modes, ensuring that you can tailor the purifier's performance to suit different situations. The touch interface has a setting for the timer where you can set it between 1 to 10 hours to automatically turn off. It has 4 fan speed settings, 2 is the sweet spot for fan noise and seeds 3 to 4 are a tad on the louder side. The Auto button is the best setting to choose because it will increase the fan speed as the clean air percentage decreases. It comes with a fragrance emitter where you control how much is sent out into the room. I personally found the fragrance to be tad overpowering but I can see it being useful if you have an open floor plan kitchen to living room and after cooking turning it on to release a pleasant smell. There is also a brightness button where you can dim the LED lights on it or completely turn them off, which is nice if you have this in the bedroom. It also comes with a lock button so kids or pets don't accidentally press it and change settings. The air purification capability of the Shark NeverChange is commendable. It efficiently captures and reduces airborne particles, allergens, and odors, leaving the air feeling noticeably cleaner and fresher. The True HEPA filter is a key component in this process, providing a high level of filtration. The Shark NeverChange is a great air purifier for those looking to added a little more to a healthier lifestyle without the hassle of having to change air filters every 3 to 6 months. With its minimalistic yet sleek style the small stature insures that this purifier will not stand out like a sore thumb. Set up of the unit is quick and very easy, quite honestly all that is required is simple removal of packaging. The unit comes with a spherical HEPA filter which acts as the main filtration, along with two collectors along the sides of the unit where air is drawn in. The collectors act as pre-filters which help gather bigger particles such as pet hair and dust. These pre-filters can be removed and washed which will help limit how fast the main filter gets plugged up. The purifier also comes with a added scent cartridge which can be added to give the room a nice smelling aroma. The scent pouch is adjustable insuring that you don't overwhelm a room with too much of a good thing. The front facing LCD screen will light up with three different colors depending on how bad the air quality is. Depending on your settings the forward facing LCD screen will also display either air quality in percentage form, i.e. 20%,100% so on, or it will display your PM (particulate matter) which is basically how much airborne particles are floating around in your given space. One thing to note is while this unit does filter particulates it does not filter or track gasses such as Radon, methane or other types of gasses that may be a concern. There are other VERY expensive units that will detect and filter out gasses but keep in mind this unit will not do that. This unit does allow you to set up child locks and does offer sleep timers as well. The auto function will also detect air quality and adjust your fan speed as necessary. The fan motor is very quite and even at the highest setting is still not loud enough to drown out my TV. Now as far as well it works, well lets just say it works very well. I have a daughter who has a pet cat that basically will not leave her room. Her room does not smell the best to say the least, due to the litter box and pet dander. After setting this up in her room the purifier turned RED right away and measured a air quality of 50% with a PM 1.0 measuring about 10. With the auto setting turned on the unit went right to work in full speed mode and after about 30 minutes air quality had jumped to 90% with no PM being measured even at the smallest amount. The air legitimately smelt cleaner and even almost left you with a crisp fresh sent as you breathed. I hate that i had to use my daughters room as a test subject but i love the fact that it actually did its job and it did it efficiently. Once air quality was brought up to 90% the auto feature then adjusted the fan speed down to the lowest setting as it no longer had to work as hard. As far as the claim of this being a 5 year filter, only time will tell. I do worry about how well the filter will last with people with pets, such as myself. But one thing i can attest to that brings me reassurance is that i own quite a bit of Shark products with all of them living up to their claims and being built to last. While the 5 year benchmark still remains yet to be tested, i can say confidently that this air purifier is a must have for pet owners and anyone looking to add a extra layer of protection against airborne particulates. A couple things to note at the time of writing this review. There is currently no available app to access any features and im not exactly sure if the filter is strong enough to filter airborne disease such as the common cold or covid. With that being said there definitely is a noticeable difference in air quality with this unit.

What got me interested in this Air Purifier is the “10x longer filter life” where it says you won’t need to replace filters for up to 5 years. Which I certainly like as I’m lazy and don’t like remembering or paying for filter replacements. Since I haven’t had this for a long time, I can’t claim how true or false that statement is. I can say the filter looks impressive. Also, based on specs it looks to be good. You also have some dust filters on both sides that are plastic that you can clean from time to time to help prevent the main filter from being overburdened. Again, with it being so new I can’t mention how good/bad this works. But Shark is a reputable brand so I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt. It comes with a slot on the top which they dub “odor Neutralizer Technology which gives a fresh scent into your air. Kind of like laundry soap. You can adjust the intensity to be quite strong to barely noticeable. This does need to be replaced after a while. This helps if you are trying to cover a bad smell by putting it and the purifier to max. If you have one of there newer vacuums it is the same tech here. Just for the air purifier instead of their vacuum. There are four fan modes. The fourth mode isn’t all that loud, 62 dB (right on it) and about 50 dB about 2 feet away. Which is great. I left it on Auto and almost never heard the fans. But knew it was working as anytime someone is cooking, or if something was burnt it would turn on for a while to purify the air. But in general sat right at 100%. It is quite compact and looks professional. Making it easy to kind of blend into whatever room you are using it in. The front screen is a high-quality panel that usually just shows you what the air quality is out of 100% and will change color (yellow for moderate and red for bad and blue for good). If you press the ‘i’ on the top of the device which is another high-quality display but touch this time you can cycle through the different particles. Which was at 0 for me. My other purifiers usually say around 4. Making me think that either A. This is doing a better job (unlikely) or B. It isn’t as sensitive. Going around clockwise from left to right you also have a timer (where it will go then turn off in hour increments up to 12 hours), brightness (bright, dim, off. Where it will only show brightness and power button when off which is dim, but could be dimmer but doesn’t interfere with my light sensitive eyes when I’m sleeping), filter life check, and lock. In the middle you have your fan speed and auto fan button. It does not appear to have an app associated with it. Which in 2024 is wild to me. But you won’t see me complaining about that. Overall, this is the same quality if not better than the other air purifiers I’ve tried. And if I replace the filters a lot less often, then it’s an easy win for me.
