The unit was well-packaged: secure and easy to unbox. The starter kit was well-labeled and easy to understand. The soft styrofoam packing layer continues to be loved by our cats, and is a is now a favorite surface to lay on. Everything - even the smallest parts - had a high-quality feel - heavy and well-made; parts fit together very, very well, giving it a professional-grade feel. The instructions were very easy to follow; there was a link to a video, which was very helpful. Also included was an “Inspiration Guide,” which had ideas for specialty drinks. Front panel display and controls change with task at hand. For example, if you are brewing espresso, the display indicators and controls will be appropriate to brewing espresso. We made several different drinks, and everything we turned out was coffee house-level, and made us wonder if we might make fewer visits to our favorite, now that we can craft this level of drinks from home. The unit is remarkably easy to clean, which has not been our experience with other espresso machines. One of the most impressive features of the Ninja Luxe is its incremental grind self-adjustment. It is a brilliant feature, and in our experience with it, seems spot-on. After each grind/brew, it suggests an update to the grind for next time. It is fast and easy to make the suggested adjustment, and we were pleased with the results. We were also very impressed with the built-in storage for accessories. No more misplacing those items! We were slightly disappointed that the “knock box” device (used to tap old espresso grounds from the brewing head) shown in the video was not included; will probably order it (or a similar item) at some point. The instructions indicated that the knock box is available on their website, but we found that to not be true.

I love the quality and functionality. However, I noticed when i received that the box looked as if it had be resealed. Sure enough, started putting peices where they go and there was dried milk on the frother, coffee grounds in the grinder, and coffee splatter all over. I contacted best buy and I offered to clean it up, but didnt want to pay full price for an open box used item. That wasn’t an option. So now I have to drive 30 miles to return, and they will send me another. I just want coffee. Other than a used item, this is perfect.

The Ninja - Luxe Cafe Premier Series 3-in-1 Espresso, Coffee and Cold Brew Machine with Grinder and Scale and Hands-Free Frother - Stainless Steel is a nice looking, professional looking machine. I unboxed it and wow, it has all the bells and whistles and is built well too. The QR code on the machine brings up a video that shows you quickly how to use the machine including pouring in the coffee beans into the integrated coffee bean grinder to be weighed to get a recommended grind size, calibrate the espresso brew to the ground coffee and then make your first fresh latte or cappuccino with your own frothed milk. You only have to perform calibration once for your favorite coffee beans. You can select the temperature of your coffee or espresso. You can select from four preset programs for frothing including steamed milk, thin froth, thick froth and cold foam. There is a tamper to press the coffee for the espresso, a portafilter that can use the double or luxe (quad) expresso basket, a milk jug for frothing a cleaning kit. Creating espresso drinks is so easy and quick. I made my first one but I select thick froth and it still tasted really good but it was more froth than I expected. This is a intelligent automatic all-around coffee and espresso machine that may save us money in the long run.

I am probably like a lot of people out there that NEEDS to start their day with coffee so I am always interested in great at home options that help me get my coffee fix in while giving me versatile options without having to always splurge at a coffee shop. This Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Series 3-in-1 Espresso, Coffee, and Cold Brew Machine definitely peaked my interest with all of it's features. I already had experience with an older Ninja Expresso and Coffee Barista System that works great but had a few features I wish were available. This one is definitely a nice upgrade. The ability to make virtually any coffee drink that I could want at home is always a plus but the added perks of the built in scale and the versatile grinder made this machine better than I could have hoped for at a much better price than some of the more complex high end options I have looked into. The dual froth system is such a fun way to get creative on those days that I have the time. I love that while it can do so much it's simple to use making it everyone in my households fave new kitchen gadget. I haven't had the urge to stop at my fave coffee shop since the day I got this! And I am on a mission to figure out recipes for some of the drinks I love to get from them while giving them my own twist. I definitely think this is a great option for any coffee lover out there that wants to experiment beyond a basic cup of coffee while still being able to have their tried and true whenever they need it.

We purchased this because of the recommended grind setting and the actual cold brew. It’s not just over ice, it will actually brew it cold. It does take 6 minutes but it comes out amazing. I recommend getting a knock box for the used grinds. It becomes tiresome walking to the trash can and using a spoon to empty the bowl.

Wonderful and easy to use. I never made an espresso before this machine and I feel like a barista after using it.

I've been drinking coffee for 50 years, its a morning ritual. This Ninja (Ninja Luxe Café Premier Series coffee, espresso, and cold brewing machine) is my new morning best friend. It is easy to operate (although the set up instructions weren't so easy and I had to watch a video a few times to get it all down pat) and it figures out the right grind for our coffee every time. My wife and I have been having drip coffees from this machine every morning now for a week and it seems it will be dependable for many years to come (but who really knows, no matter how well made it appears to be made at first glance things just don't last long any more these days, reviews should be followed up with one year old and three year old reviews), as its very well designed and made of good materials, so hopefully it will last a long time. We've only tried milk drinks a couple of times as that isn't really to our general tastes. Now I knew that water hardness is a factor in how often we need to descale our coffee machines but until now I never realized how much of a taste difference it has on our morning coffee, this machine had us test our water's hardness and then set the machine accordingly, truly amazing technology. This Ninja is middle of the road priced and one can spend a heck of a lot more money but seemingly not get much more of a machine so for the price it is a great over all drip coffee machine.

It is a little overwhelming with how many settings there are for so many different types of coffees to make. I love these door space for the accessories. Definitely a space saver for the countertop. I will say that after finding the settings for my coffee preferences, the settings are saved and it is as quick as pushing a button. The built-in scale weighs the ground to fit the amount of coffee I'm going to drink. Although it is a bit messy, it is not fully enclosed as it spits out ground. Speaking of cleaning up, refilling, descaling and general maintenance of the espresso machine are fairly easy to master after a few tries. Something else that is cool that I find very rare in coffee machines is the ability to adjust the temperature of the brewing process. This allows way more variety for coffee types. I am excited to look up and learn what cold pressed coffee tastes like. The controls are simple and has a digital display which is a very nice and necessary feature. My concern is what would happen if the recommended measurement system fails? Would I still be able to grind and brew manually? Hopefully there is a option but until then, this is a fantastic addition to any coffee lovers kitchen!

Husband got me this machine for Christmas. I am super impressed. I usually go to Dunkin every single morning for an iced coffee.. with this machine I think I am done with Dunkin. It makes delicious Lattes and iced coffees. Using it is super easy and keeping it clean is also a plus. 10/10. Do not hesitate. It is pricey but adding up all spent through the years at Dunkin, I spent way more

Says exactly what it says it does! Very beginner friendly while giving you high quality drinks. I would recommend if within budget over other espresso machines in the market just because it is truly all in one.

The Ninja Luxe Cafe comes nice,y packaged but it is heavy getting it out of the box. There are many confusing attachments & it took me 45 minutes to carefully follow the instructions to get a cup of espresso since I am a novice barista nor have I desire to be better at coffee preparation. This is a very sophisticated machine but I carefully followed the directions & got it working. It made an excellent small cup of coffee but I can’t imagine doing this every morning but nice be a special treat for the weekends when you have more time. It first has you test your water hardness. I had trouble reading the purple squares since they didn’t look purple or green but I finally decided that my water was maybe a 1. You fill the respective hoppers with water & coffee beans & you can only use beans vs ground coffee. I thought the plastic funnel that you attach to the Portafilter was cheaply made and something that would crack in the future. This machine is quite large (12Wx15Hx10D) so it takes up a lot of counter space so in a small kitchen, it would not be ideal but OK if you only make coffee in your kitchen. There are detailed instructions with how to clean & descale this complex machine & I can’t imagine wanting to do that. This is a very expensive way to get your caffeine fix but apparently that is now our world of high end coffee consumption. I think the cup of espresso tasted as good as anything you buy in a coffee shop.

Only lasted less than a month and now it wont turn on. Spent half hour on the phone with Ninja and they made me video call to prove I wasn't lying. Now they are demanding I send this one to them (box it up and drive to fedex) before they will send me a replacement. Who knows how long this will take... I tried Best Buy for an exchange and they told me they unit is outside their.... get this.... 14 DAY RETURN/EXCHANGE WINDOW lol. Spend 600 bucks on a coffee maker for it to die in less than 30 days. Never again... best buy or 'luxe'

I was so excited to get this machine and nothing but disappointment. First day of using I got the add beans error while the hopper was full. Pulled the hopper off had to remove the tray and dig a stuck bean out of grinder. Switched to a house roasted espresso bean, used twice and then the same add bean error. They need to fix the grinder issue, nobody has time to be removing all the beans from the grinder to clear stuck beans everyday.

Machine has given me problems from the start. Starts making coffee then stops in the middle. Coffee comes out watery . Not at all what i expected.

Do not have this delivered. Item was purchased on black Friday as a Christmas gift for the wife. The item shows up in original packaging, unboxed, for the wife to see it being delivered at the front door.
