    Vacuums really well. Picks up on the edges better than my previous vacuums (Dyson). Does a better then normal job in crevasses and on uneven rugs. Very convenient option with the ability to remove the canister.

    Bought this during a black friday sale. I was extremely excited to test it. Fresh out of the box, it seemed fine, easy to put together, good accessories. The second I placed it on my rug and turned it on, the detect feature basically made it unusable. The feature sucks up the rock and the light immediately turns red- indicating that there is a blockage. I decided to call their customer support and the agent tried to be helpful with the description I gave him. He said the head piece might be defective and it would take 4 weeks to get a new one. I decided to take it back to Best Buy that night. Luckily, the employee was super helpful and allowed me to exchange it. I bring it home, put it together and place it on the rug. Immediately the light goes red again. It is now incredibly clear that this vacuum was not meant to be used on rugs and they probably didn’t test it on rug when they were developing it. If you have a hardwood floor, this is fine but if you have any rugs at home, forego this entirely and get a different vacuum with less sensors. This is a waste of money and returning immediately.

You can try doing a manual override by switching to the Thick Carpet/Area Rug mode setting, as this is optimized to prevent stalling on thicker carpets.
