I like this keyboard over the apple version. You can detach it when not needed. It has a nice feeling when typing almost as an apple keyboard. Nice trackpad too.

It started out good but after using it for maybe 5-6 months the soft plastic edges started pealing off. I tried to place a warranty claim and they just kept asking for something different each time. First the pictures (from an iPhone) were not acceptable. Ok, I converted them to jpeg and resent. Then I needed to have the claim number on them, I digitally added the claim number and that was not enough. I need to "Kindly send us pictures that has a ticket number written on a piece of paper which should ne included the picture on a JPG or PNG format like the once you sent on the previous emails. Once I have receive those picture, we can go ahead and request for your replacement." So they got the jpeg pictures with digitally added case #15212999 added then say they want the number on a piece of paper. I then use my iPad to hand "write" with a drawing tool the case number and they again decline it and say it needs to be hand written (it was my hand writing on digital paper I emailed) Declining the warranty coverage time and again FOR THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.

We are truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you've had with the peeling edges of the keyboard case and the difficulties you've encountered with the warranty claim process. It sounds incredibly inconvenient and we apologize for the repeated requests for different picture formats and the lack of resolution. We understand your disappointment with a defective product, especially at that price point, and the trouble you've gone through trying to get it resolved. Logitech

If you are like me and wanting to get the most out of your iPad its between the Logitech Combo Touch or the Apple Magic Keyboard. I have both and would like to share my two cents. Starting off with the full review of this. PROS: - Actual protective CASE (9/10). Rubber-like material. Provides a lot of cover on the sides and back of the device (no more camera bump wobble). Along with adding some depth to try and protect the screen as well. Main selling point for me. It is also quite thin (compared to others) and at a very respectable weight. - The KICKSTAND is great (10/10). It is my favorite feature. I like that I can set it up to watch content and lightly browse. Or collapse it all the way down and do some note taking on it (either fully flat or with an angle). Bonus points for being able to reverse the keyboard using the notches between keys to set the angle with extra reinforcement. - The DETACHABLE KEYBOARD is great (7/10). Keys are large, have good spacing, easy to read, feel great, with good bounce, travel, and tactility. It has a variable backlight via shortcut keys on the keyboard. With even light shown through each keycap. I really enjoy typing on this thing. Getting my typical 120 – 130 wpm. I can absolutely fly on this thing. It also has shortcuts on the function row. Which are easy to understand and include nearly everything most people would want. But does not have an escape key anymore. Includes from left to right, home screen, screen brightness down, screen brightness up, keyboard brightness down/up, dictation, screenshot, media go back, media play/pause, media go forward, mute, volume down, volume up, activate focus. CONS: - TRACKPAD (5/10): Is very large (pro) but may get in the way of typing for some (con). Not haptic and my biggest con. As it isn’t nearly as accurate or premium feeling. You can press down anywhere with light pressure to actuate (pro) but due to that also feels cheap (con). It works very poorly if your hands a bit wet/sweaty. But outside of that is accurate and registers gestures well. - WEIGHT (7/10): When using in tablet only mode it kind of ruins this generations magic. For me the M4 13 inch is great because it is so thin and light where I don’t get fatigued holding it as a tablet. However, with this case it doubles/triples the thickness and weight. Making the iPad cumbersome again. - SOUND (5/10): The speakers are reduced when I’m using this. Making them feel more muddy, less clear, and have less dynamic sound. Which is a bummer. - BEZELS are nearly doubled or tripled which is the trade you get for protection. Making it feel like a less premium device compared to the Magic Keyboard that has no bezels. - FOOTPRINT: Using this is about double the size of the Magic Keyboard. As you have a very large keyboard, along with a kickstand. Which makes it difficult to use on your lap. Which limits a lot of the functionality if you are using this on the go. Personally, I use a keyboard mostly for laptop functionality on my lap, so it not doing that is a big con for me. - CHARGING PORT: Is too small, only fitting very small USB-C cords. If you have a nice Thunderbolt Cord it won’t fit. Which isn’t even that big. - MATERIALS (7/10): For some reason Logitech decided to go with the same material that the Apple Magic Keyboard has, which is a rubber-like material. While it is highly resistant towards scuffs (pro) it picks up fingerprints and other things VERY easily (con). Making it look trashed all the time and is extremely difficult to clean. I do like that on the outside of the keyboard they chose to use aluminum which has a rubber seal, meaning if you drop it the rubber should take the impact not bending the metal. But the inside where you rest your palm is rubber. This for me is a con as I like that cold hard metal feel. But milage will vary here. The older one had more of a mesh type material that I liked the feel of better. And it always looked clean. - Putting the tablet in and taking out of the case is challenging. It’s a very tight fit (pro) but due to that makes it where I feel like I’m going to break or bend my iPad getting it out (con). APPLE MAGIC KEYBOARD VS COMBO TOUCH: Not going very in-depth. The MAGIC KEYBOARD feels more premium, (less bezels, better materials, better hinge, extra port for charging, haptic touchpad, aluminum wrist rest, can be used in your lap). But has no kickstand and provides minimal protection if you were to drop the iPad with it open. Regarding weight, its about the same with everything attached. But there is a significant difference in tablet only mode. When I detach the tablet on Magic Keyboard I have the stock tablet weight with the incredible thinness of this generation which is where most of the magic is. Making it less cumbersome when holding. With the Combo touch it is a LOT heavier with the case and a lot thicker. But you get protection and a kickstand. The COMBO TOUCH has fantastic protection. Has a kickstand, giving it a bit more functionality in this regard. Keyboard feel is the same. Trackpad is worse but bigger. No extra charging port. USB-C charging port only fits certain sizes. Is less expensive by quite a bit, giving essentially equal amount of functionality. I’d say nearly everything else is a wash. For me I prefer the Apple Magic Keyboard for work and at home. But I use the Combo Touch when I’m at school.

The Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case for the iPad Pro 13-inch is a solid choice for those seeking enhanced protection and versatility. Practical and reliable, it handles daily use with ease, although it does have some drawbacks. ***Build Quality:*** The Combo Touch is well-designed, offering protection not just for the front and back of the iPad but also for the sides, making it feel secure. The kickstand is a highlight, allowing the case to be adjusted to various angles, perfect for typing, watching videos, or working. The case fits tightly around the iPad, ensuring strong protection, but the snug fit can make installation tricky. Screen protectors may need to be adjusted to avoid bubbling or interference, but once everything is in place, the iPad feels securely housed. The material used also means stretching is likely to occur at cutout points, as a long-term user documented. ***Keyboard and Trackpad Experience:*** Typing on the Combo Touch is smooth and comfortable. The keys are backlit, making it convenient for working in low light, and the spacing between the keys feels just right. The detachable keyboard adds versatility, allowing quick switching between productivity mode and a tablet-only setup. The trackpad, while large and functional, lacks the premium feel of its Apple counterpart. The size of the trackpad can also tend to get in the way of typing. It doesn't offer haptic feedback and can feel a bit stiff, especially for those with clammy fingers. It is multitouch-enabled, but the material used for the case tends to pick up fingerprints easily. This can be a problem if you're trying (like me) to hide your chip eating from your wife! ***Protection and Portability:*** In terms of protection, the case excels. It covers the edges, cushioning your device from impacts and falls. The added bulk, however, does reduce the portability that iPad is known for. As is the case with phones, bigger tends to mean easier to drop - and that holds true here. The stand’s performance on a lap is annoying, depending on what you decide to wear. The case includes a spot for charging the Apple Pencil, but it doesn’t provide additional protection, so the Pencil can fall off if not handled carefully. The USB-C port cutout is tight, meaning bulkier charging cables may not fit easily. ***Conclusion:*** The Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro 13-inch is a good option for those prioritizing protection and functionality, though it comes at a cost. It offers a solid typing experience, good versatility with the detachable keyboard, and strong protection for the iPad. The added bulk and slightly less premium feel of the trackpad are minor drawbacks. Depending on usage, you may not like the material choice. Overall, great for desk and table iPadders.

I cannot believe I am saying this but I love this Logitech-Combo Touch for iPad Pro 13-inch better than the other brand keyboard I was using. I was not expecting it to be this nice. I really like the stand that is added to this. The built in case gives my iPad Pro more protection on the sides. My other brand only covers the back and front but it is not really a case like this one is. This one covers the sides as well. I like the extra protection it adds as well as the keyboard itself. My ipad fits it snuggly and perfectly. The stand makes it so easy to watch movies and play games as well as just reading email. It just puts my iPad in the correct position for me to see. it is so comfortable to use even in bed with the detachable keyboard and the adjustable stand. There was no pairing required. I just put everything in place and everything worked automatically. I feel that my iPad is safer now and that makes me happy. I really do love this so much better than the other one I was using. I wish it was made in other colors though. I would like a bright color so is easier to find my ipad with my aging eyes. I tend to be drawn to bright colors these days.

One Case for Almost Every Use Case

I’m writing this review on my iPad Pro M4. This Logitech folio style keyboard case is the jack of all trades in the world of keyboard folio case for iPad Pro. Let’s start from the design. The case is actually a two-piece case consists of a detachable keyboard and an iPad case. Logitech uses materials that look and feel great. The iPad case is made mostly of high quality rubber and the detachable keyboard uses a combination of rubber, plastic and metal. The overall appearance is gearing more toward professional looking, which I like. I can mount and charge my iPad Pencil on the top of the iPad. The design is very functional and is meant for viewing the iPad horizontally. The case is sturdy and the stand is strong enough to hold the iPad firmly. However, with a folio design like this, you can’t use the iPad in a laptop position as in using it to type on your lap. I actually use the case most of the time without the keyboard. While the iPad case is a bit heavier than some of the cases out there, I have no doubt of its ability to protect the iPad from scuffs and accidental drop. The keyboard feels normal to type and the trackpad is responsive. The keyboard is backlighted and the whole experience almost feels like using a Macbook keyboard to type. Of course iPad OS is not MacOS but this Logitech case pushes the value proposition of an iPad forward as a productivity tool. In the world of iPad keyboard cases, this Logitech is actually not that heavy. Surely that it’s not light but other keyboard cases are not light, either. I would rather have a high quality keyboard case that is very functional and capable to protect my iPad than the one that is mediocre in protecting it. Even with the keyboard attached, the iPad is still perfectly portable. Another thing that may be important for some people is that the case is somewhat fingerprint magnet. It’s not that bad but it’s somewhat noticeable. I don’t really care because it’s not that noticeable unless you really look at the case from a short viewing distance. Like: Detachable keyboard and iPad cover case all-in-one Professional looking Great material that doesn’t look cheap Not really negative but worth to mention: A bit heavy but that’s to be expected in a keyboard case Somewhat fingerprint magnet

If you have a recent iPad Pro, especially the bigger ones, you’ll likely need a good keyboard case at some point. There are so many options to choose from, and I’ve tried most of them. Here is why the Logitech Combo Touch is my favorite. This keyboard case is powered by the iPad itself, which is awesome because it means you don’t have to worry about charging it separately. It wraps around the whole iPad, leaving just a small space for the Apple Pencil. The cutout for the Pencil is perfect - it’s just big enough for it to sit comfortably and securely. There’s still a little ridge of protection around the back of the Pencil opening, but it’s not too noticeable. The case is slim and feels sturdy, so I know it’ll protect my iPad well. I use it in my classroom, and I feel confident letting my students use my iPad knowing that it’s safe and sound. The Combo Touch has a really cool kickstand that seems to disappear into the case when you’re not using it. You can barely tell there’s even a kickstand - the only giveaway is a slight ridge where it bends. But the best part is that you can put the kickstand in any angle, and the iPad will just stand there, no wobble or fear of it tipping over. The whole case is covered in a soft-touch rubber, except for the part on the opposite side of the keyboard, which is made of metal. The keyboard itself is really great to type on. The keys have a nice travel, and they’re nicely spaced apart. I love that they still have their row of function keys above the number row. You can easily adjust the screen and keyboard brightness, sound, track playback, screenshots, and more. The touchpad on the Combo Touch is huge! It’s a double-edged sword, though. It gives you a ton of space for gestures, making it super easy to navigate your iPad without having to stretch your fingers. But, I’ve had a few times where my palm accidentally brushed against the touchpad while I was typing, and it messed up my words. I had this problem more when I first started using it, but I’ve learned to keep my hands away from the touchpad. I’ve been typing this whole review using the Combo Touch, and I haven’t had any accidental touch inputs. So, why get the Combo Touch over Apple’s Magic Keyboard? Aside from the fact that the Combo Touch is less expensive, the Combo Touch has way more flexibility and protection. The Combo Touch is actually a protective case, whether you’re using it with the keyboard or not. The Magic Keyboard has some protection, but only when it’s attached to the keyboard. The Combo Touch gives you so many options. I can take it off the keyboard, fold the keyboard back, and find a good angle to write or draw on the screen. I can also remove or move the keyboard out of the way if I just want to watch videos. I can even take the keyboard fold it all the way back to use it in tablet mode as I walk around my classroom. Honestly, the only thing you really get from the Magic Keyboard is that you get that extra USB-C port. I think the Combo Touch offers far more features and protection, and it saves you some money. This is a no-brainer recommendation!

Review of Logi Combo Touch for iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) The Combo Touch for iPad Pro fits perfect. The material and the border that enclose the edges of iPad make look safe and elegant. To place the cover though took me a bit of workaround as it didn’t fit in immediately due to how tight it was. Once it is done, need to install the Logi Control app to have recognized hardware by iPad  Keyboard: the typing is soft I would say, much better than the apple’s keyboard case. In Apples case, the typing has that sense of contacting the hard surface. And another benefits: 1. It is backlit key 2. Detachable easily and attach back. One big difference to notice compared to previous versions: 1. The bottom and top part for dedicated space for Speakers, in previous model, it used to be two hole, which was covered by thin border. Now it is covered with exact measurement for the speakers. Why this is relevant, the problem I have experienced was that the border to cover the speaker got loosen easily after few usage, and result breaking by itself. It happened for the covering area of speaker and usb-c port charing hole. Now in the latest version, the possibility that will happen is for usb-c port. It has still same design and it isn’t strong enough to last. 2. The case has inward ending to hold better the iPad. But it is so tight that if previously had screen protector a bitt upward or downard, the case push it such adding bubble. Of course if the screnprotector was placed perfectly this issue wouldn’t happen. But it is not all of the cases like for this review, so I had to unreel it then place back with slight adjustment. Aside of the usual good design and feature of the Logi, following are what other aspect that I wish it were better: 1. Finger print at the reverse of the keyboard. As soon as start using it, can see the finger print. Like old time the refrigerators doors. 2. The case get dir immediately despite of having placed in clean surface. Then compared to Apple case, feels rubber like on hand. Except of these little details, in overall still alternative.

I've had many ipads and ipad covers in the past and each time the ipad gets better of course and the ipad cover gets better. That is no difference from logitech and their combo touch cover. Logitech is a very well known company and i've had many of their products. Pros: this combo touch fits like a glove around my ipad pro 13 inch. it doesnt snap in like other have but it kind of sinks in and stays put. i dont work about it falling out when i flip the keyboard and only use the ipad. the back lever that serves as the ipad stand bends enough in both directions and doesnt have set positions, so i can find a comfortable angle almost anywhere i decide to work and use my ipad. the keyboard is really smooth feeling, looks good and is easy to use. the mouse pad is huge! Cons: the mouse pad is huge, hahaha. i find the palm of mind hand rest there and something moving the mouse when i dont want to but i'm learning to position my hands different. I'm not a fan of detachable keyboards because one i loose it and 2 i have placed it in a not safe place and damaged it, so i just leave it attached at all times. overall this keyboard, case is perfect for my needs

Right from the start, the Logi Combo Touch keyboard case by Logitech stands as a strong rival to Apple's Magic Keyboard, offering superior all-around protection. I decided to pass on the Apple Magic Keyboard case in favor of this Logitech version due to the newer Apple design, which I found unappealing. The latest design struggles with weight distribution, causing it to wobble when typing on the touch keyboard. Additionally, it doesn't fully protect the sides of the iPad, making me uncomfortable about carrying my expensive tablet. After researching alternatives, I found that the Logi Combo keyboard case for the 13" iPad Pro M4 was the best choice for me due to several key features: - It delivers a seamless typing experience that suits my needs. - The backlit keys are bright at night, with a satisfying and responsive feel. - The multitouch trackpad is generously sized, comparable to a laptop. - It offers full protection and a space for storing the Apple Pencil. - Multiple viewing modes and angles make it highly versatile. - The charging port cutout is well-sized, allowing my cable to fit without any issues. - The sturdy kickstand keeps the iPad stable. - The detachable keyboard is a great feature, letting me use my iPad as a standalone tablet when needed. - The overall build quality is excellent, though the new metal-like sides are prone to attracting fingerprints. Overall, the Logi Combo keyboard case is a fantastic option for my iPad. However, there's one downside: it's not very lap-friendly. Unlike Apple's keyboard case, it doesn't stay securely in place on my lap and tends to slip off. I’ve had a few close calls where the keyboard detached, but luckily, I managed to catch it before it hit the floor. Despite this, the case provides an excellent experience for typing, drawing, media consumption, and reading, etc. I must also mention that the keyboard arrived in a well-packaged box, and right out of the box, it felt impressively high-quality.

Verdict. I had the previous version of the case for my old iPad pro and loved it. When I got the new iPad Pro 13, I bought a generic case at first and very much missed the Logitech Combo Touch case. It’s as thin as a keyboard-case can be, with the added exceptional functionality of a detachable keyboard. Considering the quality and features of this case, I believe this is the best case on the market. First impressions. I love the smooth finish of this new case, instead of the fabric finish of the previous version. This case is MUCH thinner than the generic keyboard-case I originally bought, which essentially made my iPad thicker than most laptops, completely defeating the purpose of an iPad. There is almost no space between my tempered glass protector and the case edges, providing wonderful protection. The case and keyboard are quite light compared to other keyboard-cases. The keyboard has an extra-large touchpad. The keyboard action feels very good, with great key spacing and backlit keys! Installation. Putting the iPad in this case is as simple as can be. The fit is easy, and just snug enough. I initially had an issue with the volume button working until I realized that the case was overlapping with the tempered glass. I remove the tempered glass and reinstalled it to better align with the case. Problem solved! Versatility. I love the easily detachable keyboard. It allows the use of iPad in a light and easy touch configuration in cramp spaces (like an airplane), with a kickstand that can move to any angle. For productivity, quickly snap the keyboard with touchpad. The case for the iPad provides a good bezel that protects the screen well. While there is space for Apple Pencil charging, the pencil is not protected and can easily fall off. Functionality. The large touchpad uses intuitive gestures to zoom in, swipe through home screens, etc. Click sensitive is quite good (there is no tap-touch functionality, you have to press until the click). The keyboard has plenty of hot keys to quickly move through iPad options, i.e. load homescreen, toggle open windows, and more. Things I love. - Great protection at minimal weight - Detachable keyboard - Fantastic keyboard with backlit keys and large touchpad - No need to charge the keyboard, ever! - Easy installation Things I don’t love. - I wonder if the iPad case (not the keyboard portion) finish may scratch easily. Hard plastic would probably be better. Overall, this is an exceptional keyboard-case package. I love absolutely everything about it. It allows for full productivity of a laptop, with the unparalleled convenience of quickly unsnapping the keyboard to use the iPad in very cramp spaces. It is also light and thin, maintaining the core portability feature of the iPad. I highly recommend this case.

The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case (model 920-012658) is a premium accessory that is versatile, it has been designed for the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4 chip) and it does a great job. The Logitech Combo Touch arrived in recyclable packaging and right out of its box, it looks premium with its cool yet strong design. The case is made from good materials that not only does my iPad look better, it protects it from scratches or small impacts. The detachable keyboard can be used separately from the case or use the iPad without the keyboard so it is useful either way. And the keyboard is a great idea to have, not only is it slim and lightweight, it is soft yet responsive. The keyboard is very comfortable and having the backlit keys is a nice addition, especially when working with low light. As for the trackpad, it has a very nice large size and it does everything that I need. As I said in the beginning, it is versatile, the case has its kickstand and this lets me see the screen in different angles. And there are no cables or wireless connection needed, just put on the case on the iPad and done, attach and detach the keyboard at any time. I do not need to charge the keyboard either since there is no additional battery and it is just powered by the iPad, best of all the case has a spot to store the Apple Pencil. Overall, the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4 chip) is an outstanding case to keep my iPad protected and get the most out of it as well with its functionality and easy to use. It is lightweight, slim, looks great and I can take my iPad anywhere without worrying about it getting scratched when in my backpack.

Overall this is a great product. It provides excellent protection for the iPad and the keyboard offers a great typing experience. The only negative is the weight it adds to the overall package but that is not a deal breaker. Where this excels over something like the Magic Keyboard is in it's flexibility. Being able to remove the keyboard and position the iPad in almost any viewing angle thanks to the integrated kickstand, makes this is much more viable tool for daily use than the "one trick pony" that is the Magic Keyboard. The Combo Touch being cheaper is just an added bonus.

The Logitech Combo Touch gives you the laptop experience with your iPad as it truly blurs the line between the two. I used the previous version with my old iPad and liked it but feel like this one delivers a much better experience and higher quality materials. The materials on this model from the keyboard with the bigger trackpad, to the quality of the plastic just feel much nicer in the hand. The kickstand is very solid even when using it on uneven surfaces, like when sitting in a recliner and resting on your legs. The detachable keyboard gives you full control of your iPad and makes it to where you can truly use it like a laptop when attached and not have to use the touchscreen. The dedicated screenshot key is a nice addition that I can’t remember if the previous model had but I truly like it on this one. Being able to detach the keyboard whenever I just want to use it as a tablet is a major reason I love this case. This case adds very little bulk to the iPad, which is another reason why I love it as I hate bulky cases. If you want to be able to use your iPad like a laptop sometimes, the Logitech Combo Touch is an excellent solution. It gives you protection without much bulk and a keyboard and trackpad that beats a lot of laptops.

Good: The keyboard detaches when not needed. It’s powered by the iPad so no worry of ever needing to charge it. Nice quality materials, Keyboard feels good very responsive. It doesn’t feel quite as good as the magic keyboard typing wise but, MUCH better protection and more funtional in my opinion. Offers just about the same function keys as the magic keyboard. Supports the apple pencil. I recommend a Spigen DA20 an excellent additonal accessory that keeps the apple pencil in place. Bad: I don’t love the texture of the case although good quality it’s not very finger print resistant. I will say It is pretty easy to clean. The rubbery texture used is the same or similar material as the magic keyboard. Not a deal breaker for me. The previous version of the logitech combo had a textured design that was a lot more finger print resistant. I do believe it will hold up just fine. In my opinion this is the best keyboard case for the iPad pro M4 13 so far. I do think it is over priced. It should be half of the retail price but, to be fair just about everything is over priced at this point. I’ve also tried a few screen protectors both worked without issue. I stuck with the zagg although it’s a bit smaller than I prefer.
