Worth every penny!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new blow dryer because the one I’ve had for the last 20 years decided to break. I honestly didn’t know what I wanted, besides a Dyson, but didn’t want to spend that amount of money. Ended up found this whole set up at Ulta but they didn’t have any in stock. After doing my research and realizing that this could basically eliminate me needing a new flat iron or curling iron in the future, I realized this whole new system was completely worth the cost! Just the blow dryer alone is worth it! The scalp shield is such an amazing technology, I use that more frequently than anything else because I do my bangs almost daily and my bangs have never looked better! They’re super soft, shiny and bouncy! I love this whole entire system, just haven’t used the flat iron part yet but I love the round brush and curling rods and the dryer itself!!! I did put the flat iron part on the dryer part and it wasn’t horribly heavy, but I can see myself getting tired very quickly trying to do my whole head at once. I also have a lot of health issues, so trying to cut down any time I can is what I look for! If you’re on the fence about this, I’d say don’t be! It’s incredible! I also have very thick course hair and it dries my hair super quick! I am so happy I bought this instead of going with a more expensive tool that did less! I wish it was a little quieter and I didn’t need to run the blow dry setting pretty much all the time, but its just going to take time to get used to that, but definitely worth it! Especially with how amazing my hair looks after using it! I have got so many compliments on my hair from using my shark!

Amazing blowouts!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this hair tool! When I use the volumizing brush attachment, it pulls on my fine hair a lot. I don’t like that but it works very well and looks great! The blow dryer is fabulous and dries your hair in no time at all! I wish the buttons were more easily accessible though. I love the colors of the product too! This product does get very hot so be careful!

Mind Blown-Along with Our Hair
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am obsessed with this tool!! The price is worth it me with all the attachments that it comes with!! The wet/Dry straightener is a GAME CHANGER especially as a time saver in addition to sleek straight hair !! I even used it on my 6yo daughter who hates anything but air drying her curly hair! Took 15 minutes to dry and straighten her hair! Love this and can’t recommend it enough!!

Speedy Blowout
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product to help not damage your natural hair. I love the uniqueness of the wet to dry straightener. I haven’t straightened my hair in years and the FlexFusion helped it take no time. I usually don’t like round brushes on my hair but I absolutely love this attachment!

Awkward + Definite Learning Curve
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start with, let me tell you about my hair: I have baby fine, stick-straight, long hair (hits about mid-back when it is down) that typically refuses to do anything other than be straight (and, especially in the winter, very, very staticky). It also gets oily at the root/on the scalp easily, so I don't typically use much in the way of product which doesn't help with styling. I'm always looking for something to do with my hair (other than a ponytail), so when I got the chance to try this, I jumped on it. I really like the fact that for most of the tools it harnesses the power of drying your hair while styling because a. I'm lazy and because my hair never does what I want it to, I'm usually a wash and air dry type of person and b. I feel like for my type of hair drying it while styling it gives it a little extra hold (with the help of a ton of product). This guy...well...I think I was a little overexcited about how easily and perfectly it could theoretically style my hair. Is there potential? For sure...but I only really got to use it a handful of times (pretty much 1x/tool attachment) in the couple of weeks I had with it prior to needing to review it, so hopefully my hopes are not misplaced! Pros: - the majority of the tools are used on wet hair, which helps set the style and saves time (you aren't having to dry your hair and then get out another tool to curl, etc) - you get multiple styling tools in one device - I actually had curls in my hair! - I love that there is a right and a left side curling attachment so your curls are styled in the same direction! Cons: - it is very long/large, and very awkward to use, especially if you are doing anything other than blow drying your hair - There's no manual on how to use any of the attachments. There are instructions on the packaging, but let's be real - it's annoying to have to keep a huge box around just to have tips/tricks/instructions on how to use the thing - Even with the instructions printed on the box, especially with the curling attachments, it was a lot of trial and error. I'm sure with time I'll get it all straightened out, but it was disappointing for it to be so hard (I'm thinking it would be easier for those with shorter hair) - while using the attachments (specifically the curling attachments), the parts of my hair that wasn't getting styled at the time was constantly getting sucked up and wrapped around the very end (cord end) if I held it anywhere near my hair. Again, I'm thinking it was an issue for me more because of the length of my hair than anything else. All that to say...I'm gonna keep going with it, and hopefully find some video tutorials online to learn how to use it. I think it has a lot of potential, and once I get more comfortable with all the different parts, I think it will work as I expected which is why I'm not rating it lower than I am.

Fantastic Results that Last
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tailbone length hair, and I go to great lengths to keep it long (no pun intended). This means that I rarely heat style my hair to prevent split ends after avidly styling it regularly for years. Because the FlexFusion is purported to style with no heat damage, I decided to try out this combo styler. It worked out perfectly that I got it on the same day as my weekly hair wash as I was able to use the blowout Fusion Brush after a brief pass with the blow dryer and the styling concentrator to make it more manageable. I am used to doing blowouts with a brush and a blow dryer, which is arm-exhausting with long hair. Having the hot air blow through the brush made it a million times easier, more effective, and efficient. The knob at the top doesn’t heat up so I am able to hold it to get better leverage while I wrap my hair around the brush. Once I was done, my hair was smooth, straight, yet full-bodied. The blow dryer is amazing! I thought I already had a nice, high end one, but this one just surpassed my expectations. I love having three different heat and fan settings plus the cool setting because I can choose to gently dry on low heat and high fan or style it with high heat and low or mid fan. I also love the size, it is so much easier to maneuver while providing more power than its larger competitors. The Styling Concentrator works as one would expect a nozzle to work on any blow dryer. It helps during styling but also helps when I want to quick-dry my roots on lower heat with concentrated air flow. It’s smaller than the ones I am used to, but I actually like it more this way. While the dryer is small and sleek, the cable is a beast! It is like the anaconda of cords. Its length is great in allowing flexibility of space and mobility, but because the cable is so thick, it takes up a lot of storage space. All of the included attachments snap on and off with ease, feel sturdy and well made, and are ergonomically designed. The lock and release switches are intuitive and well-placed – I have not encountered any instance of accidentally pressing a button while styling and the release involves turning the attachment to avoid unintentionally popping one off in the middle of styling. The Auto-Wrap Curlers come in a set of two, one for left and one for right. It was easy to figure out how to work the auto-wrap feature, which made curling a breeze. The fact that it uses air made curling gentler on the hair while resulting in bouncy curls that lasted well into the next day. With regular curling irons, my hair type generally has trouble keeping curls, and I usually have to rely on thin straighteners or blow dry with a round brush to make lasting curls. The barrel size of the curlers took in a large swath of hair, but once I ran my fingers through it, I separated them into many strands of curls, thus I was able to get done faster while resulting in many uniform curls that held their shape. One con I encountered was switching them out when I’m done with one side as they are too hot to safely handle and I have to either wait until it cools down, or more practically, have a heatproof mitten or glove ready to remove it. The Air Straightener left my hair pin straight with no flyaways or static. The hair was so straight and relaxed in fact, that it would not stay up in my usual hair stick bun, it kept falling throughout the following day until at some point I lost my hair stick. This is my first experience with an air-straightener, but I found it so much gentler on the hair and the results where far better than regular ceramic direct-heat tools. To wrap everything up, before I used this product, I assessed my hair thoroughly to note its current condition as I have not trimmed it in eleven months. I could only find the rare, split end and nothing more than 3mm in damage. A week and five heat styles later, I am finding a lot of split ends, some over an inch long. Note, I did use this product several times this week for the sake of trying out all the accessories, so it was excessive, but I believe the most damage was caused from running the barrel brush while it was still wet. Still, I will not be styling from wet anymore as wet hair is too fragile to even brush it so a gentler heat styler will still incur more damage than dry styling. With all of this said, I would still recommend this product and will still personally use it. I’ll just take extra precautions such as hair heat protective products and mostly only dry styling. Plus, while I am very much protective of my hair’s length, my inner-girly girl is still obsessed with the results I get from this and may just force me to have more frequent trims. In my opinion, if you use heat stylers regularly, then this is perfect in reducing damage, making the process faster, and reducing clutter since this one product replaces three. I just got rid of my dryer, curler, and straightener to make room for this set actually.

User friendly, replaces five styling tools
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Growing up, I skipped all the lessons in how to do anything with your hair other than put it in a ponytail. Yes, I've checked out the online tutorials, but honestly never found enough excitement to go invest in any type of styling tools outside of a straightener for my wavy hair (I'm a 2b curl type as per an internet search). Based on my experience to date, I can honestly say that the Shark FlexFusion+straight hair drying and styling tool may be the absolute most easy to use hair styling tool on the market. In the box is the hair dryer, styling concentrator, wet/dry brush, wet/dry straightener, and 2 x 1.25" curlers (one for each direction of curl). Setup experience may vary, as it did take me a minute to wrap my head around how the end of the hair dryer pivots 90 degrees with the press of a button. Good news is that the attachments are easy to understand, there are alignment arrows and a lock / unlock button to change out attachments quickly. So for my first attempt, I used the hair dryer to get my hair to damp dry, then I used the brush attachment just to try it out. I did like how smooth my hair was drying and the brush did remove some of the natural wave, as it dried. At the almost dry stage I swapped over to the auto wrap curlers, and while it took me exactly three attempts to get it right, the way it works is all kinds of voodoo magic. The air from the curler barrel circulates in a way that it grabs the hair and wraps it around the barrel, doing all the work for you. I'm a brunette with thin, smooth, shoulder length hair, so I had to experiment on how much hair to use when attempting to use the auto curler. There are step by step instructions on the box flaps that help, but it's fairly straight forward. Pinch a small amount of hair about halfway up the total length, hold the auto curler up towards the end of the section of hair, and the air will automatically wrap the standards around the curling wand. As the hair wraps, you move the wand towards your scalp, hold, count to 10, switch over to cool air, hold another 10, and then release. Bam, hair is curled, it's easy enough even for my ponytail only experience level. My second attempt using the FlexFusion was to try to tame my hair after having it up in a ponytail all day. I didn't want to wash it, but needed to look like I put in some effort, all while only spending a few minutes prior to running out the door. I used the styling brush on the dry setting and found that it released the ponytail crease quickly and gave it a smooth flowy look. Also I like that the heat level didn't feel like it was crisping my hair or burning my neck when using it on dry hair. Going back to the features of the hair dryer, from the bottom up, there is a power button with two settings - wet or dry hair, then a three level temperature setting, a three level fan setting, and a cool air button. You'll find that the cord is pretty beefy, has the normal hair dryer ALCI circuit which should trip prior to tripping your circuit breaker, and is 8' long so you aren't tethered to the wall. Note that the hair dryer is 1500 watts, so this isn't something that you want to use with a power strip. Outside of the cord, the hair dryer is super lightweight, making it relatively easy to hold for long periods of time. The barrel of the hair dryer is on the smaller side, but it's easy to hold, and use, with any of the attachments. I'm a lefty so it did take me a few tries to figure out the best angles to work with, but again, all very intuitive. I probably spent 20 minutes messing around with the settings, angles, and attachments to get everything figured out. For anyone who knows their way around styling tools, this should be easy. Other things to consider, the straightener is not a traditional flat iron, but instead air directed at the hair as it moves past two ceramic plates. I find that this doesn't flatten my hair, giving me as much volume as can be expected with thin hair, but still styles it to hang straight. After 30 minutes of use the hair dryer doesn't seem to heat up excessively, as many do. I find that the temperature seems to be very stable, and I have not yet burnt my scalp, as I tend to do when not paying attention. Bottom line, I do love the Shark FlexFusion, it's super user friendly and can do the job of five different styling tools, which frees up both space on my counter and time spent moving between drying and styling tools.

All the trendy hair tools in one
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge fan of the Shark hair tools, and when I saw this new FlexFusion System I knew I had to get it. Right out of the box, i noticed the sleek and modern aesthetic in this gorgeous cosmic blush color. The lightweight feel makes it very comfortable to hold and use, and the inclusion of multiple attachments is a major plus! All the trendy hair tools in one. What's Included: * Shark Multi-Styler * Wet-or-Dry Fusion Air Straightener * Wet-or-Dry Fusion Brush * (2) 1.25" Auto-Wrap Curlers * Styling Concentrator The Wet-or-Dry Fusion Air Straightener attachment is my favorite and changed my life. It makes it easier to achieve the sleek, straight look I love. I used to get breakage from flat ironing and now it’s good hair days always! I like using the curling barrel attachments too. I just wish the curling attachment had a rotating function to change curl direction instead of having to change curl barrel. If you're a curly-haired beauty enthusiast like me who likes to style your hair without compromising its health, I highly recommend the Shark FlexFusion +Straight Air & Ceramic Styling, Drying & Straightening System. It has transformed my hair routine.

A package for all your styling needs!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the Shark FlexFusion + Straight Air & Ceramic for wet or dry styling. Unboxing - the package was organized and labeled nicely with what each accessory is responsible for and some suggestions on style settings such as heat and fan speed. There is also a QR for additional styling information and instructions for use. I was excited to check out of the accessories - came with a styling brush, straightener, Two curling rods and a blow dryer attachment that focuses the air. First the blow dryer - When I opened the box I was immediately impressed with the material and color. I love the color and material used it is well made, solid and doesn’t feel cheap. I also thought the size was nice but when I pulled it out of the box the cord was thick and added weight to the blow dryer. The blow dryer was well marked with heat control and fan speed. Also, the setting for dry or wet hair styling. Which was great because you can following the settings indicated on the box and online to achieve the style you want - curls, straight or no frizz. Attaching all the accessories was also easy to do and it locked on easy and was solid. Next I washed my hair and tested the styling brush. The styling brush has brushes on 3/4 and ceramic portion for frizz and smoothing/shine. My hair is frizzy and dry and after using this without any styling gel I must say I was impressed with the outcome. It also took 20 minutes to fully dry and straighten my hair which normally takes 30 minutes (dry and then use straightener). I’ll take the 10minutes saved any day. My hair is half is pretty long and thick so I liked the time savings also it didn’t burn my hair because I followed the suggested settings. My hair came out pretty straight with bounce and volume without making it too flat. Smoothed and shined my hair, a tiny frizz in some areas but a little smoothing cream removed it without issues. I then used the straightener to further straighten and shine. I used the dry setting - what was pretty nice was that I wasn’t worried with burning my hair. When I use a traditional straightener I see a little steam but I didn’t see any of that with this system. It straightened very nice and no residue seen after I added straightening gel. Next I used the curling rods and I loved loved it. It comes with two rods one for the left side and one for the right side. You have to use the correct side because of how the air comes out so it’s easy to use and comes out with the results you want. The curls were light and bouncy and further removed frizz. After adding the curls my hair had more volume and felt very light. Next I tested the hair dryer by itself and was impressed because I dried my hair in 3 minutes without burning or drying it out and less frizz. Again if you want to achieve specific results follow the suggested settings for heat and fan speed. Overall, Shark came out with a great product. If you are looking for a complete styling tool this would be a great purchase. Because not only for home use but for traveling! It’s compact and you don’t have to pack multiple units (hair dryer, straightener and curler) you just pack this and the accessories. You can also get away with just bringing the styling brush because it can straighten and curl. I also love how compact the blow dryer is, however I would have given it 4 stars because I felt the power cord was a bit bulky and added weight to a light hair dryer. But the unit exceeded my expectations with versatility and styling options without burning or drying my hair so the power cord wasn’t a deal breaker. The size of the unit with accessories also make the unit larger but the set helps with easy styling. If you are looking to upgrade and consolidate to a blow dryer with multiple accessories this is a great set. Refer to attached photos.

One Wand to rule them all
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shark’s newest product the FlexFusion it’s a very unique and creative take on hairstyling. I don’t know if other similar products exist in the market, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen it implemented this way. What am I talking about? Well for starters, you get four different products in one package. You get a hair straightener, a brush, hair curlers and of course, the hair dryer. It’s the way it all works that makes it unique. You only need to plug in the hair dryer, which is what powers everything else. Let’s talk about the hair dryer first. The hair dryer works like any other hair dryer would typically work. it blows out cold or hot air, and you could adjust settings, for example there’s three different strength settings, meaning at its lowest, a little bit of air blows out, at medium it blows a little bit harder and at maximum this thing blows and sounds like a jet engine. You could also adjust whether you want cold air to come out, warm air, or really hot air. The hair dryer which feels like a wand in your hand, also powers the rest of the attachments. Let’s talk about the hair straightener for a moment. At first I thought the hot air was going to heat the hair straightener, But this is not the case. The hair dryer “wand” cleverly has metal contacts that when you add an attachment it electronically powers said attachment, instantly powering the hair straightener to be able to heat it up. The same is true for the other attachments. All the attachments could be used with wet or dry hair. When you put the settings as dry hair, everything works how other products would normally work, the hair straightener heats up for example, but when you use the wet hair settings, hot air also blows out. The same thing is true for the other attachments. I hope I didn’t confuse anybody but there’s a lot going on here with all the different attachments and settings. This is definitely a high-quality, very well made product and even though I am a man making this review, it is my wife that tried it out and gave me her feedback. She absolutely loves this product and I’m impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The only negatives I see is that the power cord is a somewhat thick and heavy, and the hairdryer connected to an attachment, makes everything a little bulkier than it needed to be. Women with small hands might find it difficult to use. But other than that, my wife didn’t have any problems.

The only tool you need for your hair!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my wife the original the original Shark FlexStyle and she's always loved it. The FlexFusion is an absolute upgrade to the original FlexStyle. While it comes with different attachments than the FlexStyle, in my opinion, they're an upgrade. The new FlexFusion is more powerful, smaller, and lighter than the FlexStyle. First, full disclosure, I'm a man. I got this mainly for me, although I know my wife will be using it a lot as well. The main reason that I got it was for my beard. I have a longer beard and it's always been a pain drying and straightening it after a shower. I have a heated beard straightener comb, but it's never done very well. About all it did was make my hair sizzle and leave it tangled. I used the FlexFusion air straightener and it's amazing! In a couple of minutes my beard was perfectly straight, smooth and tangle free! It's never felt or looked this good. This set comes with the hair dryer, auto-wrap curlers, wet-or-dry fusion air straightener and the wet-or-dry fusion brush, as well as a styling concentrator. The core of it is the hair dryer. There are three different fan speeds. Low, medium and high. I would say that the low setting is about what you get out of a typical hair dryer. On high, this thing has some force. You can feel it pushing back against your hand. You will get you hair dry much faster with this. There are heat and cool settings. It also has scalp shield which automatically adjusts the temperature to protect your scalp from too much heat. Most typical hair dryers just continually heat up, this one maintains the temperature. I had my wife try the curlers, air straightener and the brush. She loved them all. On her original FlexStyle it came with the FrizzFighter finishing tool, which she used as a straightener. It worked well, but she said the Fusion air straightener was much better. The Fusion brush gave her noticeably more volume. She's a redhead with thinner hair and I definitely noticed a difference in the volume. Having the heat and air coming through the accessories changes everything. Now you don't have to blow dry while combing. With this, you can eliminate your separate curlers and straightener. It's all in one.

Personal Salon in a Box!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was instantly impressed when unboxing this set. It was like having a full salon at my fingertips. My wife will be using this, so it’ll be from her perspective. I really like that I can use the wet and dry hair straightener while my hair is wet. Best of all? No damage from using this feature. It was great! I didn’t have to blow dry my hair for a while. I was able to start straightening it! I sometimes dread the process of how long it takes for me to do my hair, but I’m confident it’ll cut down time with this. I’m so happy! There was great heat distribution, so I felt like I had a very even application. I didn’t feel like I was burning my hair which can happen with straighteners. If I felt like it was getting too hot, I simply adjusted the heat to avoid damage. I have naturally curly hair, so I really like the auto wrap curlers and the other features. Sometimes it’s tough to use products like this when you have curly hair, but so far it’s fantastic. These two products will be my main usage. I did like that I can adjust the temperature on the devices to ensure I don’t burn my hair. It’s not an important ding, but I wish there was some sort of safe traveling case with this. I’d love to take it with me on vacation. Yes, I can easily put it in a suit case or bag, but it’d be nice if there was something tailored specifically to house these products for travel. Also, it’s a tad bulky and can be heavy, but I’ll get use to this over time. Pros: Became easier to use after a few uses Instantly see the positive impact on hair. More volume, shine and sleekness Very versatile. Lots of choices to use Guides were helpful to learn Wet or dry straightener Wet or dry brush Cons: Difficult to get used to at first. Fair Learning curve Not intuitive to learn but with practice, it was easy No safe traveling case Overall: Really amazing product for what you pay. You’re bringing in salon quality gear at a great price. You’ll instantly notice and feel the difference to your hair after a few uses.

Calling All Minimalists - Easy Hair Styling Tool
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the opportunity to own the first version of the Shark Flex series and I have to admit that the Shark FlexFusion is definitely a step up from it. The drier it's self is slightly slimmer and easier to hold. With the Wet drying mode, I don't have to spend time partially drying my hair before I round brush it, curl it, or straighten it. The product comes with lots of instructions and links to How-To videos to help anyone get started using the drier and accessories. Accessories attach and detach with ease. I found myself using the brush and comb the most, so much easier to use the comb combo rather than just a brush version. It helps me keep from tangling and less frizz after use. For any consumers new to the Shark Flex series dries, I'm going to warn you that it takes a bit of practice and may be awkward at first to use the accessories. You will get use to them and love how easy styling your hair can be (this coming from a minimalist who never really like taking time to fix my hair until Shark Flex). Flat iron is extremely creative for Shark. Who would have thought that one could flat iron and dry hair at the same time. The hot air blows through the slits to dry while also heating the ceramic like piece that helps flat iron. I typically section off my hair and start with the bottom layer. Just a few swipes of the flat iron slowly through my hair has it dried. Saves me a lot of time and effort. Overall, product is well made, innovative, and easy to use.

Endless Style options!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark FlexFusion is a fantastic addition to my hair tools! It's slim and comes with five different attachments for versatile styling options. You can straighten, curl, brush, or simply blow-dry your hair. The product is nicely packaged, with all the attachments displayed when you open it. It also includes easy-to-follow instructions for various styling techniques. All the attachments are simple to install; you just twist and lock them into place. The curling wand is one of my favorites, especially since I've always struggled to achieve nice curls. This wand effectively holds your hair in place and gently wraps it around, making the process easy and efficient—it's honestly incredible! Another great feature is its ability to protect your scalp from extreme heat by instantly adjusting the temperature. I was initially hesitant to use any kind of hair dryer due to experiencing hair shedding and didn't want to add excessive heat to my scalp. However, after styling my hair, I felt much better and noticed it looked healthy. The Shark FlexFusion has an impressive capability: you can style your hair while it's still wet, thanks to its powerful airflow that dries and styles simultaneously. It is sturdy, does not tangle when using it, and has minimal sound. I recommend this to anybody looking for something that is long-lasting and gives great results.

Thought I would love this.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark FlexFusion Hair Styling System does a great job in combining multiple hair tools into one device. In addition to the multiple tools, there are multiple setting options which allows for a more customizable use. Unfortunately for me, after about 1 week of use I was left a bit underwhelmed with this device. My hair is on the denser and thicker side, is medium length, dries straight, and does not hold a curl well at all. Upon first use, I thought the Styling tool was awkward to hold due to its design. The “handle” or grip area is the same size as its extended barrel and is bigger than all hair styling tools that I use. While initially awkward, I was surprised at how quickly I became comfortable with it after a bit more use. I also found the hair dryer, due to its barrel size, to be lacking in volume although the velocity was impressively powerful. The smaller barrel size of the dryer reminded me of the mini hair dryers that are often provided in hotels, which is why I often pack my own hair dryer. I thought the hair dryer provided good heat at the highest setting and never found it to be excessive. All settings had noticeable differences, from temperature to fan speed. Compared to my normal hair dryer, I felt that it took longer to dry my hair with Shark FlexFusion. After using the dryer without any attachments I opted to use the FusionBrush to help speed up the process. While it did seem to help, I did not like having to brush through my hair with a bristled-tool as much as I did in order to dry my hair. I did find the styling concentrator attachment to be helpful for drying detailed spots of my hair, specifically with my part and side-swept bangs. The Auto-Wrap Curlers were the most pleasant surprise for me. The attachments actually did a good job curling my hair, as long as it was in very small batches due to the density of my hair. I thought the Auto-Wrap feature was really cool. I can see how it would help speed up the process for curling one’s hair, but for me, I felt that the noise level was too much to tolerate for the extended length of time (about an hour) it takes to curl my hair, especially considering that a regular curling iron makes nearly no noise. Last, I found the Fusion Air Straightener attachment to work very well, with great heat control. Although I don’t straighten my hair while wet (because it dries straight naturally), I found the option to dry and straighten wet hair simultaneously with this attachment to be very innovative and likely a time saver for those who would use it that way. Overall, I think the Shark FlexFusion Hair Styling System is a useful tool for many people who are looking to condense the amount of hair styling tools they own or simply for traveling purposes. For those with dense, thick or long hair, this tool might be a bit underwhelming, like I found it to be, but for those with hair of average density and thickness or shorter hair, this styling tool might prove to be not only a space saver but a time saver as well.

All-In-One
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Flex Fusion is a multi-styler with air straightening technology embedded into it. This styler states its for all hair types. To give you an idea, I am multi-ethnic and consider myself African American with European and Native American heritage. My hair tends to be thick, wavy, and have a curly texture. I tested the unit when my hair was wet and when it was dry. When using the blow dryer, the dry time was reduced in half of what I am normally use to. The box states that it has scalp shield. I can verify that as I was blow drying the hair dryer did not make my scalp dry. I did not feel heat on my scalp, which was nice. In addition to this, when use the ahir dry I attached the wet-or-dry brush which assisted in ensuring that my hair would not become tangled. The unit also came with curlers to curl your hair and in addition with a styling concentrator. I did not care for the styling concentrator. The concentrator is supposed to be used along side a brush to help distribute the heat evenly. For my type of hair, and having to do multiple things at a time, this was not a good fit. The flat iron that fits with the unit, did press my hair out as stated, but it did take a bit of effort. Unsure if this is because of the type of hair I have. The following morning, I used the unit again, with this time my hair being completely dry and it did flatten my hair out. So that is why I am knocking two stars down for the application of the heat. Is this a deal breaker for what the unit can do, no. It just depends what you are looking for. I love the concept, but I am used to other irons, that in one stroke the heat distributes quickly and flattens. However, those type of irons do not have the scalp technology embedded within them. I do recommend investing in a wide tooth comb, if you have my type of hair, instead of using the styling concentrator. I think if that would have comb with the unit for me to test, I would have seen a major difference. Overall, I feel the product does a good job, however, I cannot at this time give it 5 stars. Pros: Scalp Technology Can dry hair while wait quickly Curly units that can attach to the dryer Various heat settings and attachments Cons: Needs Teeth Comb unit for thicker hair

Beautiful looking system but too much work to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the beautiful mauve color that the Shark FlexFusion system comes in. It’s even prettier than the lavender color of the FlexStyle system. The darker accent color on the brush and straightener is just the right offset, making it a very classy looking set. If I judged by looks alone, I’d give it all thumbs up, but of course, that wouldn’t be a practical reason to get a hair styling system like this one. Unfortunately, though, the versatility of the system really didn’t live up to my expectations in using it on my thick, longish length hair. A plus is that the blow dryer, when used on its own or with the brush accessory, did dry my hair in half the time it normally takes. But it took twice as long with the curling wand or straightener attached than usual. The FlexFusion dryer is slightly heavier than the FlexStyle one, but it is also irritatingly loud. Loud to the point that I suggest wearing some quality earplugs to protect your eardrums when you’re using it. The bulky power cord is heavy also, adding to the weight and strain of the dryer on your arm during use. Use it with the straightener attached and you’ll almost need a crane to lift your arm! The straightener added also makes the dryer almost 2-feet long and that’s a lot of bulk to have to deal with. I want to dry and style my hair, not lift weights! The weight of it with the other included styling attachments was much more manageable. Even though it was somewhat of a pain having to switch between a left and a right curling wand for uniform spiral curl direction, the spirals looked great. The curls, however, were short-lived and needed a do over after 2-3 hours. And it seems they lasted the longest when I styled from dry hair than from wet. I didn’t get the full benefit of using the straightener attachment because it was just too unwieldy and awkward to use on my entire head on my own. Even after trying the FlexFusion system various ways multiple times, a regular dryer, flat iron and curling iron is less strenuous and more efficient in my opinion.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great blow dryer for the price, comes with a lot of attachments. Still figuring out how to use all of them. Wish the blow dryer was a little shorter but I like that is folds at a 90 degree angle allowing for easier use. It is very loud though so I have to use farther away from my ear because I feel like it makes me a little hard of hearing temporarily after using it if it's too close to my head.

Consider It
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shark’s FlexFusion Air Straightener & Hair Dryer combines drying, smoothing, and auto-wrap curling in one sleek ceramic brush styler, delivering frizz-free, salon-quality results. Although it’s a bit heavy and has a learning curve, its versatility and chic Cosmic Blush design make it worth the investment.
