Wow got this on sale and it does the job with no issues.

Good suction. A little heave to lift to clean baseboard with hand held portion.

Better than expected Did have a little difficulty with the arm attachment to release to bend to use that feature but once we figures it out no issues

vaccum release did not open into the bin as advertised; Best Buy staff were helpful in ordering a new product to see if it was an isolated issue. Latches for various attachments can sometimes be difficult to release/change.

Great vacuum when it works. I wouldn’t recommend for covering a large space as the battery doesn’t last long. Gets clogged often, doesn’t handle pet hair well. Would recommend if you don’t have pets or kids. Casual vacuum NOT heavy duty.

It’s a very expensive vacuum with a lot of bells and whistles that aren’t really necessary. I haven’t seen it do anything out of the ordinary. Definitely not worth the price or hype.

Love this vacuum. The auto-empty system minimizes your exposure to dirt and dust.

The Shark - PowerDetect Clean & Empty Cordless Stick Vacuum is a very nice, powerful stick vacuum with many great features. I have tested it out and vacuumed my house several times with it. Following are my observations: - It was easy to assemble, with an easy-to-follow Quick Start Guide and instructions on the top of the box. You can also scan a QR code for instructions on the assembly and operation of the vacuum, and to register the vacuum. - It is a nice looking vacuum and base and feels like very solid construction and well made. - It took 5.5 hours for the first full charge. Instructions say it takes 6 hours for a full charge on a depleted battery. - The battery is removable, which is a nice feature if you have a very large house and wanted to have a second battery to vacuum the whole house at one time. - The instructions say it has up to a 70 minute run time, which seems about right if running on Eco mode. However, if you are running on a mode with more suction, then it doesn't last as long. I like to run it on Detect mode, where it will run for about 35 minutes on a full charge. - There are lights on the battery that indicate the amount of battery left. It is recommended to run the battery all the way down to condition the battery during the first use. - This vacuum comes with a flex hose that I really like. It works great on tight spots and under furniture. - It comes with 2 brush rollers that allow you to use it on all types of floors. The vacuum suction works in both forward and backwards directions. - It comes with both anti-Allergen and Odor Neutralizing filters. - It runs in three modes - Eco: saves battery power and has lighter suction; Detect: heavier suction and detects the amount of dirt or debris in the area you are vacuuming; Boost: increases suction for heavy work. - The default mode is the "Detect" mode. In Detect mode it gives you lighting that tells the amount of dirt detected. Dark purple - heavy amount of dirt/debris, light purple - dirt is being cleaned; white - cleaning is complete. I really like this feature and have started using the Detect mode most of the time. In areas that have less traffic, it will go to white after a pass or two, however, in heavy traffic areas it will show dark purple and it can take a few passes to get to light purple and then more to get to white. This amazes me, as I have never had a vacuum that can detect this. In the past, I've done a few passes in a heavy traffic area and to the eye, it appears the carpet is then clean. However, with the Detect mode on this vacuum, it is now apparent there is still dirt and debris in the carpet so it is very nice that it can detect this and let you know when it is finally totally clean. I now realize my carpets were not as clean as I thought after vacuuming with my previous vacuums. The level of suction on the Detect mode is very good too. - There is a moon icon on the dock that represents a quiet mode button. If you push the button to engage the quiet mode, it causes auto-emptying to not occur when you dock the vacuum. You can then turn this off when it no longer needs to be quiet and it will auto empty. - The pre and post filters are easy to clean. Just rinse with water and let them fully dry before re-installing. - The rollers are also easy to clean. You can just use a coin to loosen and remove the rollers by turning the release button on the left side of the nozzle. - I love the auto-empty feature of this cordless vacuum. It is great to be able to finish vacuuming and just dock the vacuum on the base and it goes to work emptying the vacuum into the dust bin on the base. Much better than having a small bin on the vacuum that needs to be emptied each time you use it. The Dust Bin Full indicator light comes on when it needs to be emptied. It is easy to empty by lifting up the bin on the back, then press the release button on the side to open the bottom of the bin to empty. This is a nice setup and allows you to empty it without any mess. Overall, the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty Cordless Stick Vacuum is very lightweight and easy to use, with a lot of great features and it has really good suction. I was shocked at how much more dirt and debris was lifted out of our carpet using the Detect mode. It also does a great job on my hard wood and tile floors, and the handheld works great on my furniture too. I highly recommend this vacuum.

So far this is holding up pretty good. Suction is good.

If I could give this thing 0 stars, I would. Coming from a Dyson stick vacuum to this feels like such a downgrade. Everything about it feels cheap. It doesn’t have good suction on carpet, instead it just pulls itself across it. The tiny wheels get hair wrapped around it so fast and they are very difficult to clean. The wheels leave rubber marks on the floor if they’re the least bit stuck. The motor head is constantly going back into the stop position, turning off the vacuum. It’s managed to chip 2 pieces of my flooring. The only thing that I like about this is the ability to bend the arm and the self-emptying feature. I regret buying this and I’m so disappointed with myself for missing the return window. This is the worst household purchase I’ve ever made.

I bought this in lieu of purchasing another Dyson, as I wanted something cordless. I have dogs, and I have to vacuum every day to keep my house clean. I thought that the brushes on this would also help with dust, and since it was a bit cheaper than the Dyson it seemed like a win/win. I've been using this daily for about three months now, and every time I use it, I want to take it outside and destroy it with a bat. The engineers who designed this machine must have gotten their degrees with chatGPT. If it's on tile, it automatically goes into a lower suction mode, and doesn't pick everything up. If it's on an area rug, it goes into the highest suction mode possible, and you can't even roll it over the carpet- it sticks to the carpet to the point you can't push it forward. Dog hair and dirt will build up around the first roller, every time, and has to be cleaned out. If I use it on regular carpet, it overheats. I still have to bring out my old Dyson animal twice a week to pick up whatever this awful vacuum leaves behind, and the entire purpose was to avoid that. My Dyson is to heavy, and I have a back injury. This product has added about 30 minutes of rage to my daily routine, and I can't justify replacing it because it was $600. Avoid it at all costs.

Too heavy for me. But,absolutely love the empty canister feature

I think it’s a good product specially if you have dogs

Great vacuum. The only thing I would change would be the foot lever to remove the wand from the main roller system, instead of a button.
