Reason for my purchasing this was strictly to use as an add-on with my Logitech Smart Keyboard that I purchased. Initially, I planned on using my Harmony Home Control remote and hub, until I found out that the smart keyboard was not compatible with that Hub, for whatever reason. That said, considering I got a great sale price on the Smart Keyboard, purchasing this add-on smart remote to use at the same time as my Smart Keyboard was a no brainer. The one thing that I find frustrating with the smart remote vs. the home control remote, is the placement of the rewind, play, forward, pause, record, and stop buttons, as well as the lack of a page up and page down dedicated button, which the Home Control has. Other than that, for those that use the Harmony Smart Keyboard, but also want a regular remote for one handed use, I definitely recommend getting this especially at $29.

I returned this as well as the hub/keyboard I had bought. The system required an internet connection and had a wizard which didn't give you very much control. With enough time, I'm sure I could have made this work, but ultimately is more more trouble than it's worth. This just reeks of a product for people trying to show off a smart-home with no real practical application. The price did not help either. There are better products for cheaper. The K400 keyboard that was on sale for $20 is a simple and more effective controller for a HTPC.

Remote it is good, very simple to use and to program it. It is not too big, is light and fit perfect in the hand. One thing I missed which is deep in the specification section, you need a Harmony hub to make it work and it sold separately ($99) or in combo ($149), you save $20 buying separate. The only down side of the remote is the keys doesn't light up huge mistake, and makes it hard to see in dark areas. I may understand the logic behind it in which they used watch battery to reduce the size of the remote, in which the battery may not be powerful enough to be use with the lighting components. Some of the keys have double functions such as the Fast/Rewind, Chan+/Chan- you need to hold down the button to use the second function very clever. Overall is a good remote and it does the job very well, and you do not need to aim at the components to control them. I highly recommend this remote and will choose over any of the lower end harmony remotes. I gave it a four stars due to the missing backlight keys besides I would have giving it a 5.

Had a Harmony one for several years - suddenly system stopped responding. Figured out it was the remote that had died (and cell phone control still worked so i knew it was the remote not the base unit). This was the exact same model as the original, easy to transfer old remote setup into new one. Only disappointment is why original remote suddenly stopped working after ~2 years?

For the money hard to beat, only negative is product is built for people with small hands, buttons are to small!

Bought this as a replacement for one that was destroyed by my son. In combination with the hub this is the best value universal control out there. Set up is easy and it works with all my equipment (except ROKU stick)

Pretty easy setup and decent app but not good for buttons on my HD tv.

This remote is slim and very light and feels great on your hand. It's the perfect second remote if you already have a Harmony Hub based remote (you need a Hub to activate this remote)

Had an unfortunate dismantlement of my original remote by the mouth of a pitbull and shockingly, the remote still worked. I bought this replacement and within 5 minutes had it working with my existing harmony hub.

We got the Harmony Hub without a remote thinking our old Harmony remote would work with it; it did not. So, we got this remote to control it. It is small, thin, and light, and uses only a small coin-type non-rechargeable battery. To set it up, we simply went to the Harmony webpage, loaded the program, and ran it. It found our hub and we had little trouble specifying our DVR, DVD, TV, and AV Tuner. Through some simple questions and answers, they were set up to work. Pair the remote to the hub, load the settings and we were in action. There were some features that we wanted to add from our Cable/DVR remote, so I loaded the iPhone app (to avoid the trip to the computer room across the house) and added the features. Not the easiest to navigate the set-up on the app, and some other features were added later at the computer for ease of use as the screen is easier to see than my phone. Since we set it up and dialed it in, we've been using for a month or so, and it's nearly flawless. There are a few functions that weren't on the pull-down lists int eh set-up that we've lived without instead of manually programming as that requires plugging the hub into the computer and using the IR sensor to learn the commands. Nothing so important for us to pull our cabinet out and fight our cables to disconnect and reconnect the hub. In short, we love it.

Good remote for the price. Simple controls and easy to setup.

I have the keyboard and bought this because I thought it would be easier to use. I was correct! Programming the buttons to my xbox1 makes it easy to navigate when I just want to watch a movie or stream.

Works as advertised. Took some additional searching to find easy directions to sync. Sometimes easier to use than the Ultimate due to its simplicity.

It does everything that I need it to do. Easy setup and operate. No bells and whistles; however the price is right.

One of the best universal remotes around. I just replaced my overpriced URC MX-880 remote which always required me to pay someone else $99 to program them. This remote is easily programed using the app that making changes on the fly is so easy.

The buttons for the numbers are very small. Keys are not lighted so with small keys hard to select correct number

I had previously picked up the harmony hub and keyboard combo and decided I wanted to add on the remote. It's nice and light and has thoughtfully placed buttons. My two issues are that it uses a button battery instead of something like AAAs that can be recharged, and there are no backlit buttons. Other than that, solid remote.

This remote does almost everything I need it to. Love the app and the grouping functionality (I.e turn on the TV, then turn on the cable box etc). The only thing that I don't like is that it is not back lit. So at night you in the darkness of my room, I cannot see the buttons. Other than that...solid remote!

I bought this remote to replace another one just like it. After 2 years of continuous service, the original one broke. The new one does his job well.
