I don’t satisfied this product because it’s says stainless steel doesn’t get rust but unfortunately some spot has showed rust I’ll bring this kettle to the store to return or exchange Its really disappointing to me

I can get a Walmart machine does the same thing for 25 dollars

Kettle is nice used to the ones in Europe that heat up faster, but this is better than the cheap one I bought

First of all the very high price of this will most likely discourage most buyers from purchasing this item. I was also apprehensive about spending so much on a basic kitchen appliance. But I am happy that I gambled on this item. Breville make very solid durable appliances. This is no exception, it has several settings for teas and also a keep warm function. You only need to lightly touch the button and it goes from white to red so that you know it is warming up and it beeps once it is done. I have only had this for 1 year but I am hoping that it lasts for a very long time because I am satisfied with the speed that it boils water.

Stopped working after 9 months. For $100 I was expecting more.

LOVE doesn't even come close to how I feel about this Breville Variable Temperature tea maker! Frankly, my boyfriend is sick of hearing about it! After EXTENSIVE online and in-store research (unfortunately I wasn't able to find many teamakers in-store to look at up close & personal) I settled on this one....Why? Because I had recently found out not all tea should be boiled & this has variable temps, because it had an awesome stainless carafe instead of glass, which could break, and because of design (base, indication windows on both sides!). Before this I used a whistling tea kettle on the stove which was awkward to pour & seems to take longer. I can't say enough about this tea kettle....Breville also makes a more expensive version you can make tea IN but it was like 2x the price and has an irreplaceable glass carafe. Note, I pour out any extra water (there is a minimum) after each use and leave top open so it can dry out. I also wipe off any water stains. So far no issues. I freaking love it. You will too.

Breville Tea kettle arrived just two days after I have order it. Nice job Best Buy!!! I purchased Cuisinart CPK-17 tea kettle one week before this one and kettle cover fell apart after first time water was boiled. I returned Cuisinart and decided to go with Breville. I liked kettle appearance and temperature control functions. I watched video on Breville website how this tea kettle was created and felt like this totally right product for me. After using it for couple days I got little disappointed how hot outside of the kettle gets and I can see fingerprints on the kettle. I would give this kettle five stars, but I think, that outside temperature of kettle should be room temperature.

Would really like to order this item to my home. Unfortunately there's no shipping available. You can only do pick up for this item. I think is really dumb because the store misses out on a potential sale from longterm customers.

For the past year, I have enjoyed using the Breville kettle on a daily basis with no problems. I liked it so much, I bought a second kettle for our vacation home. Sorry to say that the variable temp mechanism on the new one stopped functioning within two weeks of purchase -- every setting just boiled the water and the kettle wouldn't beep or shut off automatically. I called Breville and they shipped me a new kettle pronto and gave me a prepaid shipping label to send the defective kettle back. I just received the new kettle and have my fingers crossed that it will work as it should. I still have very positive regard for this tea kettle. Hope kettle #3 works as well as kettle #1!

Overall a quality product, does the trick for making a daily pour over coffee.

Like all Breville products, this is a dependable product that does what it claims. Built with good materials.

Breville BKE820XL kettle started to shut off intermittently. Sometimes it's impossible to even turn the kettle on and it shuts off in the middle of heating up water. The kettle basically became useless after three years of gentle operation. After finally reaching Breville I was offered a repair service for $70. $130 purchase price + $70 repair would equal $200 for three years of use of this kettle at $66 per year. Save your money and buy from a better brand than Breville.
