Logitech and Zagg are the leaders for iOS bluetooth keyboards. I've owned several Zagg BT keyboards and ALL of them (more than 4!) have an issue where the keys occasionally repeat themselves 2 or even 3 times causing words like "error" to result in "errror," I am happy to report that I have NEVER had a problem with repeating keys on ANY of the Logitech BT keyboards which include the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, and Ultrathin Keyboard Folio (I own them all for both the iPad Air and iPad Mini). So here's what I like about the Logitech Keys To Go: + It's the slimmest and lightest bluetooth keyboard available today; It weighs almost half of the weight of Logitech's Ultrathin Keyboard Cover! + The dimensions are tailor made for an iPad Air (It's exactly the same width in landscape mode). + iOS specific buttons for volume, Home screen, camera, etc. + Water/splash resistant design + The keys are COMPLETELY silent which is great for a classroom environment Here's what I don't like: - WAY overpriced at $80! Check the weekly ads because it occasionally goes on sale for $60. - The keys lack the tactile feedback of a traditional keyboard, but it only took me about a minute to acclimate. - The power switch on the side is tiny and difficult to slide; I always have to use the tip of my fingernail to move it. - The texture of the case is rubbery and attracts dust and other particles. Fortunately, the keyboard is easy to clean so it's no big deal. Here's why why I bought it: My old case for the iPad Air was the Logitech Hinge case which is great but a tad heavy. My new case is the excellent ZeroChroma Slide (also available at Best Buy) and the combined weight of this and the Keys To Go is LESS than iPad Air and Logitech Hinge cover!!! I've attached a pic of this combination which weighs less than 1 lbs 12 ounces. Weight and portability are huge factors for me which is why this is my current favorite bluetooth keyboard. The great think about the Keys To Go is that it's compatible with any case that you currently use and it's slim enough to carry without even noticing the extra weight. The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is also a great product but it nearly doubles the weight of the iPad Air and it leaves your iPad without a case. Even though the price is a little higher than I like, I have zero regrets purchasing it. I wrote this review using the Keys To Go and I NEVER found myself yearing for the more tactile experience of a traditional keyboard. Your mileage may vary, but the adjustment period to the ultrathin design was seamless. Check it out for yourself!

I have had nearly every portable keyboard on the market for the past decade. From the original foldable keyboards to various 3rd party keyboards on off-branded shopping sites. But this all changed when Logitech started making portable bluetooth keyboards. Not just keyboards, but keyboards that are amazing! I’ve had several over the years that have been great. The 920 tablet keyboard with the cover/stand was great for both my iPad and iPhone. The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover was great and now is my backup when I need a 2nd keyboard to travel with for my iPad. Then there’s my favourite for my office: the Logitech Easy-Switch K811 keyboard and now the uber-awesome - Keys-To-Go Portable Keyboard. As an international photographer, filmmaker and educator, it is increasingly more & more important to travel lighter and with gear that is durable. The Logitech Keys-To-Go Portable Keyboard meets all of that criteria. It’s totally small & thin, fitting in my backpack, camera bag or messenger bag for all my various photography or teaching jobs. It connects quickly and flawlessly with my iPhone 6 Plus, and it has a terrific battery life. If you’re looking for a great travel keyboard, I would highly recommend this keyboard. You won’t regret it! David Esquire Caffeinated Photographer

Overall I like this keyboard. It takes a little getting used to. It initially was stiff to type on. Over time the keys have gotten easier to hit. The space bar is still a little stiff. It needs more pressure than you would use on your regular keyboard on your laptop or desk top models. The only reason I gave this particular keyboard a 4 star instead of a 5, is that for some reason, the hot keys on this keyboard do not match the hotkeys I find on. The Logitech website, in the start up guide for this keyboard or on any website, youtube review. This keyboard is for Apple products only and that is fine since I use it on my iPad only. In searching for the hot keys that match my Keys To Go model, it is simply not out there. I do not have an email hotkey, a screen shot hot key or a few others. I wouldn't mind except I would like to find a guide for how to do a screen shot or get to my email or switch screens on this keyboard. I'm sure there is a way, and I have been playing with different combinations on the key board, I just can't seem to find the right combos. This keyboard could be the newest version or one of the oldest versions out there. I have registered it with Logitech and emailed them with a photo of the keyboard hoping they can tell me what generation it is and supply me with the right hot key info. Maybe this keyboard was made for Best Buy only. It comes in the Keys To Go Logitech box, so I'm stumped. Except for that one little issue, I like this keyboard and look for word from Logitech on what version I really own.

I got an iPad for school purposes to be able to access any documents/powerpoints during class and not having to carry my MacBook (which was adding too much weight to my backpack in addition to books, etc.). A couple of weeks later I realized needed a keyboard, but I had already purchased a case for my iPad which I really like due to the protection it provides and how lightweight it is. I had to decide between buying a keyboard-case combo or a wireless keyboard - I chose this keyboard and couldn't be happier. pros: -it's very lightweight (the main reason I got the iPad in the first place) and thin yet very sturdy so far -connects to my iPad super quickly -typing is just as real-time as typing on my laptop, meaning it doesn't lag at all -ONE OF MY FAVORITES: it ended up fitting perfectly with my case... (see picture attached). My case has an elastic band to close it, so what I do is I flip the keyboard over to protect the keys and tuck it into the elastic. The keyboard stays in place no matter how I hold the case or move it around which is great, it keeps the iPad and keyboard together and protects the keys -I can grab the keyboard if i need it and leave it if I don't. For example, if I was in bed watching a movie on my iPad I obviously wouldn't need the keyboard and if I'd chosen the keyboard-case combo the keyboard part of it would be in the way and sort of annoying. cons: -so it worked out that i can easily hold they keyboard with my case because of the elastic, but otherwise for on-the-go purposes I'd be a little afraid of the keys getting squished from other things in my backpack and breaking it -this keyboard has a small tendency of collecting some dust, but it's really not that bad, definitely not a deal breaker for me So far it's been exactly what I needed.

Excellent alternative to Apple Smart Keyboard at a fraction of the price. Bluetooth pairs very nicely with the new IPad Pro and it gives you access to the same typing experience as the ASK. Keyboard is waterproof and it also comes with a small stand that you can use to prop up the ipad. Very lightweight and in my opinion it is thinner and also more portable than the ASK. The other awesome thing about this is that you can pair it with multiple ipad and other computers or tablets. Very happy with purchase!

Pros: Lightweight Compact Easy connectivity Easy setup Able to use a standalone case Portability Maintains a charge if you conserve the battery by turning off when not in use (I’ve charged once since purchase on 07/21) Cons: Cost - not worth the 70 dollar premium, purchase on sale Micro USB charging port (different charger than USB C used for iPad) Keyboard takes getting used to (not very tactile) Overall nice accessory if your looking for an alternative to a keyboard case

I am using the iPad Pro when I travel. I wanted to use a physical keyboard instead of the one one the screen. After using this keyboard for 3 months, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The battery life is amazing. The Bluetooth connection is perfect. The keys have a good tactile feeling without being bulky. Best of all, it is thin and lightweight. The keyboard is the exact size of my 9.7 iPad case. I debated getting the Apple keyboard and case, but this one is a better choice for me. I don't have to take it along with me, but I can add it when I will be needing it.

Love this keyboard! I have tried at least five different keyboard cases, including the Apple Smart Keboard. All were terrible, requiring origami skills to open/close or constant prayers to some higher being that the iPad won't fall over. This keyboard is legit; spill proof, light as a feather, tough, and the right size for both my fat fingers and my iPad Pro 10.5 inch. I don't need it all the time, so I love being able to leave it in my bag and use my iPad as a tablet. When I need to do real work, I can grab the keyboard and have a solution that nearly equals my Macbook Pro productivity. Also love that the keyboard is not connected to the iPad, so I can move it into whatever position is most comfortable. Only drawback is no backlit keys. I don't usually write reviews, but Logitach has a winner here.

After having had numerous tablets, and very very numerous keyboards for each of them – this has got to be by far the BEST keyboard! Very slim, very very light weight, I’ve had keyboards that the keys fall off, before the keyboard where is out, but this one with the fabric cover white soft stays clean is very comfortable, reasonable size for my hands while still being small enough to pack my bag no hassles. Even with its small size I can type well with my hands not too cramped together. This keyboard works with my iPad Pro, and I’ve used it on other devices and it works well for those too. I only lament that it’s not part of an actual case, but that’s easy To overlook please littering how portable and how not flimsy it feels!

I was looking for an iPad keyboard that was detached from a case since I have a pretty sweet, minimal case for my iPad mini already, and once I found a rave review of this on Mashable/Engadget (something of that sort) I was sold! This keyboard is made of a spill-proof material that covers the outside, so it's super durable. It's also super slim and fits perfectly in my iPad carrying case, right along with my iPad Mini. The actual keys are the best part, though- they're nearly flat, but with enough haptic response that it doesn't feel like you're typing on a table. I find that I'm able to type just as quickly on this thing as I am on my regular computer keyboards. Such a perfect product. Plus, long battery life (3 months, I believe) and super easy to connect via Bluetooth. I can't say enough about this!

I purchased this keyboard after initially getting the smart keyboard for my iPad Pro. As the price tag on that was steeper than I really wanted to spend, I continued looking before opening the package. I was so glad I waited a few days. Found this keyboard and it was a third the price of the smart keyboard! Also, since this doesn't have to be attached to my iPad this was a little easier to manage when I don't have a table top to set up at and have just my lap. It's very thin so stores easily next to my iPad in the carry case I have. Definitely recommend!

I use this with my iPad Pro for taking notes for office meeting. It stores unnoticed inside my case pocket. I have no difficulty typing on it. I have been using it weekly for four months without needing to charge it yet and zero connectivity issues. It also came in handy when my Bluetooth keyboard for my office computer suddenly failed, I had no issues connecting this one in a pinch to get me through the day on my Windows All-in-one system. I also had an unfortunate issue where my backpack was out overnight and it had rained. This keyboard was wet on both sides and there has been zero issues with it both in connection and performance since the incident, confirming it is waterproof.
