Whirlpool Washer and Dryer

The washer keep having F3 codes and they can't figure out what it is. But every so often it lets all the water back out and tells you to empty the washer.. We purchased this brand because it came highly recommended. Sometimes the dryer doesn't dry the clothes throughly or it ask to reposition the clothes and its like only 2 or 3 garments in it. Not satisfied. 2 stars because it looks great.

Samsung front loader dryer

Be careful with extend warranty lead time.

They could come on 4-9-25 but that day was not available and the next day that was available was 4-17-25. Be careful that when you purchase a warranty the lead time is what I call ridiciulous!! You can speak to a supervisor and they suggestion was to call back and get someone else. Mary in Pananma City refused to give me her bosses name . The dryer I bought was Whirpoll WTW5057LW and it NEVER drys a load on one cycle and I bought in Oct 2023 and now the drum does not spin.

All in one LG combo.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the most part, the all-in-one works well, but you constantly have to clean it and make sure lint isn’t clogging things, which can prevent it from drying properly. You’ll also end up on the phone with LG a lot. In my personal opinion, this machine is best for a one- or two-person household. We have a lot of kids, and it just doesn’t work well for a big family. Sometimes it takes six hours just to wash and dry one load. If you’re okay with that kind of time, this might work for you — but for a large household, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Doesnt clean well

This washer does not wash clothes well -- there is not enough water touching the clothes. A washer has one job -- make the laundry clean. I felt i was going to be able to get clothes smelling great and stains removed or made better with this expensive beast but the clothes are just coming out like they were handwashed in a bathtub. The washer gets them wet then just tumbles them around. There is no little pool of water to collect dirt - just wet clothes going round and round. It does not rinse well either. If you put a single item in it it gets stuck to the back wall and just turns around and around. There seems to be a deaign flaw with the smooth back wall -- other washers have a propeller shape/fins that prevents this -- clothes sticking to the back. If the item is too big the lack of water issue is worse. Ive washed a sleeping bag about 4 times and it still smells. The water dribbles from one short spout near the door and much of the water just runs down the door into the drain. The perimeter of the back that meets the drum has little spaces where things get stuck and cannot be removed. I'm utterly confused why this washer is rated so high and am feeling extremely foolish and sad for spending $900 on a washer that cant wash clothes as well as my 30 year old off brand top loader. Oh and there is no remote start -- what is the point of the wifi connection anyways? After realizing i need to triple wash many items i could really use a remote start at least. Just a terrible buy. Looks are deceiving with this one.

Agents are ok but warranty policy is NOT!

I had to wait 30 days to see if the part would arrive to the warehouse and if it didn't my washing machine would be replaced. The part never arrived so I got a new washer but we had to wait 30 days which meant going to the laundry mat until it was replaced. The CS rep told me I could buy a new one but why would I do that when I have a warranty policy? It made no sense.

LG WASHER

The hot water inlet valve stopped working and the gears under the tub started whining loudly. I was able to receive a new one only because I purchased a Geek Squad warranty for 5 years. I then purchased a new warranty and hoses for the replacement for $250 for a new warranty and hoses incase this one decides to break down. One last complaint I have about the extended warranty is if you file a claim they will void the warranty, yet no other warranty company will void your contract for a repair or replacement until your 5 years you paid for is actually done. I advice anyone making a big purchase ticket item to find an outside warranty company which will guarantee you the full term contract for the 5 years.

But dryer never worked I called geek squad 3 hours after it was delivered had to wait 4 days for them to come look at it was unfixable.so had to be returned I then had to wait 4or 5 days for them to come pick it back up and bring new dryer in mean time had to go to laundry Matt spend more money this should of been fix much sooner at a 700 price .i was very upset on how this all played out cost me even more money in long run but the guys who were here to drop off were polite did there work but did not clean up after the moved furniture to get dryer were it needed to go but did not put it back when done also the Dickson city store does not have enough people to hook up gas stuff. First I was told they can't hook up then after they got here was told they could if the guy that has certification was with them ( which he was not) and 2nd time here store told me they can hook it up but there was additional charge ( are u serious I spend 700 on dryer that didn't work you told me could be hooked up by you now it can if I pay more money) and still guys that came couldn't hook up because they were not certified to do so and new dryer was even more money than first time plus I had to go to laundry Matt to do my laundry

Just Ok.

We also keep having issues woth water leaking and calibration issues. I was hoping it would get better but it seems the opposite.

Service not what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When my washer quit working (clogged drain pump) I had to wait almost two months and make 3 calls, and one visit to best buy before I could actually get someone to come look at it. I live in a rural area, and even though I verified the woukd service my address before purchasing, they did not want to uphild their part. More headache than it was worth for an issue i couldve fixed easily myself if it werent for the fact that doing so would void the warranty.

Not draining properly

By not drainining, my electricity bill increase as an additional step -- drain and spin has to be done. Thank goodness I purchased Geek Squad, but sad I had to use it.

Very hard to get an technician on the phone.

Had another Lon wat for representative. Earliest appointment was a week later. Technician from Dependable who came told me Best Buy installed inflexible exhaust hose for dryer which should have been a flex hose. He then said he did not replace hoses. Fortunately he was able to reattach existing hose. I’m very disappointed in the service.
