Its my first curved monitor 34 inch and i really like it so far it has a very nice wide view the picture looks very nice you can move the monitor up or down and side to side very satisfied over all gave it a 5 because of how much i liked it

I’ve been using the Acer AOPEN 34HC5CUR Pbiiphx for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s been an awesome addition to my setup. Whether I’m gaming, working, or watching movies, this monitor delivers a great experience. First Impressions Right out of the box, the monitor looks sleek with its minimalist design and curved screen. The 34-inch ultrawide display is massive and really pulls you into whatever you’re doing. It’s not super heavy, and setup was straightforward. Display Quality The 3440 x 1440 resolution is incredibly sharp, and colors look vibrant right out of the box. It’s great for multitasking—I can have multiple windows open side by side without feeling cramped. When it comes to gaming, the 165Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync make everything buttery smooth, especially in fast-paced games like Call of Duty or Forza Horizon. I also appreciate how immersive the curved design feels, especially for gaming and watching movies. Build and Adjustability The stand is sturdy, but I wish it had height adjustment. It tilts a bit, which helps, but if you’re particular about ergonomics, you might need a monitor arm. The bezels are thin, which adds to the premium look, and the black finish is simple and clean. Connectivity and Features It has a DisplayPort and HDMI, which work perfectly for my PC and PS5. I do wish it had a few USB ports for convenience, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. Performance Gaming on this monitor is a blast. It handles fast movements really well with no ghosting, and the FreeSync feature keeps things smooth even when frame rates dip. It’s also surprisingly good for work—I can edit documents, code, and even do light photo editing without any issues. The brightness is decent, but if your room gets a lot of sunlight, it might not be bright enough for your liking. What I Loved: The 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio is amazing for multitasking and gaming. The 165Hz refresh rate makes everything feel so smooth. The curved screen is super immersive. Colors are rich and vibrant, even on a VA panel. What Could Be Better: The stand really needs height adjustment. No USB ports, which would’ve been a nice addition. Brightness could be a bit higher for really bright rooms. Overall Thoughts For the price, the Acer AOPEN 34HC5CUR is an incredible monitor. It’s perfect for gamers and multitaskers looking for an ultrawide experience without breaking the bank. While it has a couple of small drawbacks, like the stand and brightness, they’re easy to overlook once you start using it. I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a curved ultrawide monitor that performs well and looks great.

Price is good! Build quality is solid but never get 120 hz only able to ger 60hz over all looks great.

This monitor has been absolutely fantastic! It’s really crazy how much of a difference it makes in just enjoying what I do on my pc. The stand is good wish it turned upside down but for 400$ can’t really complain. Never had cooling problems on my pc but with this screen actually using my gpu guess I’ll be upgrading my tower and cooling schematics.

Excellent monitor. Let me preface this by saying I am only medium level picky when it comes to displays. With that being said this is a VA panel so some colors may not pop like IPS but the cost makes that tradeoff very worth it. Refresh rate is great, curvature is great, so far I love it. This monitor is dual purpose for me as I am a heavy gamer and a software dev at a large company. Gaming performance is excelent with good graphics and viewing code and other office apps also look amazing (usually I feel like it is one or the other with monitors so I was really stoked about this)!

The box arrived with Fire Legend on it, not Acer, so I was confused because I’ve never seen or heard of Fire Legend and I though I ordered an Acer. I looked at the bestbuy listing and zoomed in on the photo and see Fire Legend on the monitor, ok I guess I got the monitor I ordered buy was mislead by the description. The monitor is decent, I’m not overly impresssed but it will work for my day job.

I have a AMD RX 6800 card. In the Train sim it loot as real as a hollywood movie. I often run the NE corridor between philly & new haven and new haven & johnstown w/horseshoe curve and the run between san diego and L. A. There is also some really cool NJRR from north NJ that goes all over. In IL-2 I get like 90 to 130 fps and really good graphics and i can see enemy plans like ten miles away without text attached to it. Anyway this monitor is the nicest thing i ever watched.

Wow! screaming deal and great adjustability with height, tilt, and turning. Plus includes both cables out of the box. I've not adjusted any colors yet but will update in a month or so after I do with anything new. So far, very impressed that this "value" monitor performs so well. The upgrade from 24in to 34inch widescreen with speakers so no extra wires or power bricks needed is a no brainer. Definitely buy one !

I bought this monitor for my sons first gaming setup. He is really happy with it. The monitor has excellent picture quality. You will need to buy external speakers for it. I bought speakers from Best Buy as well. I got the Insignia color - changing 2.1 computer speakers with bluetooth. The sound is perfect. It sounds like you are in a movie theater. I definitely recommend these products.
