I thought the i3 plus 4GB of RAM was still enough for a Chromebook. Not anymore. The screen format is nice and display excellent. Keyboard not so good. Chrome OS is no longer as light as it used to be. I'm pretty sure Windows would run better with this same specs, and for less money probably. I read some reviews for the i5 plus 8GB before purchase but I did not find for the i3. I think it should be paired with at least 6GB in RAM to work well, in my opinion.

Since pandemic, kids been carrying around heavy back packs. I got this for them so they don’t have to. Didn’t expect this to be great. But it is! The screen is crisp and setup to control kids usage is east out of the box. Highly recommended.

Bought for my daughter. She is not easy on her electronics but this has held up very well. Has minimal damage and seems to withstand a decent amount of bumps and minor drops. The touch screen and the higher resolution bright display is something she really loves.

I purchased this item 14 months ago and used it maybe twice a month. I was initially happy with the computer, especially the display. I went to turn it on today after the bimonthly full charge-up for the battery and the battery is now dead. I called Acer customer support and was told the battery was no longer any good and to get it fixed I would need to spend $449 USD. I will never get another product from Acer as I don't usually have trouble with laptops and have been repairing mine for years with success.

Display looks great. Very happy with the overall performance.

At the low $300s this is an awesome machine. For casual surfing the Internet and similar tasks it's quite quick. It's not a powerhouse computer, but for a basic computer, it ticks all the boxes.

Image quality is excellent. Build is sturdy, hardware case is stiff & durable. Speakers are ok. System operation is quite good, internals are very good. Somewhat heavy due to HD hardware. Price point on sale was excellent, purchased 2!

Ive owned this now for 4 days. Ive been on with Acer tech support chat 6 times. The screen continues to flicker and readjust at least a half dozen times a day. Acer had me go thru 3 self repairs. I reset the battery (never heard of that one before), I powerwashed twice and even reloaded the OS. Nothing has changed. Acer wants me to send it to Texas for repairs. Its a 4 day old $500+ purchase. Should that be necessary? Nope. Best Buy would accept the return as its under 15 days, but they wont exchange it. There are redflags all over the internet about Acer screens doing this. Granted, its not all of them, but a very large portion are this and the other 713s. Ironically Im using the machine to search for its replacement. Im also searching businesses that are not Best Buy. Buyer beware. And by the way, the last Acer tech said that if I dont send it in for repairs "it will get worse". One tech asked if it has "gone black yet".

Top of the line 3-2 ratio, at a great mid range price. Ive used Chromebooks & Linux for years, why bother with anything else. No worries about viruses / security / defragmenting.

Love this chomebook! Good speed and features, especially love the touch screen.

my 1st Acer Chromebook expired so I was looking for a new one this Acer Spin had all the bells and whistles I was looking for and at a great price!

Good deal for tight budget but I recommend spending a little more for the latest version, big difference.

Picked this up on sale for 249.99 Can't beat the specs and build quality at that price. Would have paid the MSRP of 479.99 no problem!

I love this Chromebook. Easy to set up and use. It's fast. I'm sure I don't know the half of it yet, but so far love it!

Great - 2k screen, fast i3 processor, Wifi 6. Not so great - 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC drive. For the price I bought this for the RAM and eMMC drive are easily forgivable. Starts fast and runs smooth. Feels like a huge upgrade from the Acer Spin 11 that I was coming from. Again the screen is fantastic - great bargain buy.
