This tiny little thing puts a surprisingly loud, high quality sound. It’s not a small speaker, it’s smaller than small, it’s tiny. (For those of you shopping online) it fits in the palm of your hand. I bought it to listen to in the shower, and it’s perfect. It’s waterproof and has great sound quality, even decent bass. Couldn’t be happier!

This little speaker packs outstanding sound and impressive bass. It being water and dirt proof are just extra added bonuses.

I wasn't expecting much from this "baby" Bluetooth speaker, in fact I only purchased it because I can't pass up a good deal and I saw it when checking out and bought it on an impulse. I am sure glad I had that urge to buy it because the range on the sound is amazing for such a small speaker, and its waterproof. I keep it in my office now to use when I need to shut my door and drowned out the chaos going on outside. You will love this little speaker with a big range.

This little speaker is very cheap but is not necessarily gonna leave you impressed. The sound can get loud but even at max volume it is not super loud. The reach of the Bluetooth in my experience was no more than 15 feet and I was using an iPhone X. Also the battery will not last longer than about 3 hours at higher volumes. If you’re looking for something cheap and just gonna use in the shower or in your room near you this is a decent speaker. But if you want to hear music at a good high volume outdoors and from a distance you might want to spend a little more on something that packs more power.

So I bought this Bluetooth speaker for my niece for Christmas to replace a really cheap one she bought that sounded like it was underwater. When I heard the sound coming from this little speaker, I was so impressed and couldn't resist. It gets loud and I don't recall any distortion as the volume went up. It's perfect for your desk at work, tossing it in your handbag, backpack, toolbox, pants or jacket pocket and take it with you on the go. It has 6 hours of battery life. It's fully waterproof, shockproof, everything proof (see packaging for waterproof ranges). And... it even float, just in case you are like me and like to go fishing. Or if you are into wake boarding or boating you don't have to worry! Plus, it's not a top of the line expensive speaker that you would get upset about if it went overboard. If you just want something that you can carry no matter where you go that has great sound that everyone can enjoy, I think you will like this. And, because you didn't pay a fortune for it, should it accidentally get lost, this is a great one to have. If you have kids that listen to music but are always loosing things, this is perfect for them. You can also sync two together to give you even more sound. I love this speaker so much, next time I go to best buy I'm going to pick one up for myself despite already owning 4 that range in sizes and prices from XL to small and $$$-$$-$. I have a feeling this will be the one I end up using the most. One last thing, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the sound quality. For the size, the sound is pretty darn good. It was much better than I had expected for it's size and definitely better than others in that same size range. I never expected to hear good bass and I expected it to be very tinny sounding. The sound isn't perfect but I bet it will surprise you. It's not the sound you will get from a higher quality one, but if you keep in mind what it is you are buying, for it's size, price and features, it sounds great. For me, it was a no brainer.

This is opened box product and BestBuy tried to sell it as “ discount new product “. I was shocked when opening the bag. As you can see that the pickup tag was stick on the box and the seal was peeled off and was put back again. How can BB treat a member elite plus like that. This is only a $11 product, what happened to all my expensive products that I bought from BB, did you do the same thing?

Hi I bought 6 of these for Christmas. They are awesome little speakers. Just a little light on the bass. Still for the 19.99 price point for Christmas you cant beat it. Yes the unit lets you know its powered up and it is a little loud at it. Small thing to overlook for a handy little backpack speaker that's water proof, dust proof, floats etc.. It paired super easy and the kids also liked it. To be honest at the regular price of 39.99 I might look at other Bluetooth speakers. Still Super Happy with the speaker. Ill look at bigger models of the same brand and design if I need a louder speaker.

What is this?! A speaker for ants?!....... I ordered this online and had no idea how small the speaker was. When I picked it up, I thought it was a joke and was thinking whether I made a mistake and should I return before I even opened it. I opened it, tried it out and was shocked how well the music sounded. Will it compete with music quality and bass quality of my much heavier Sony and JBL speakers? Absolutely not but that isn't the main PRO for it. The main PRO is to put out good quality music in a very light and small package. I tried to carry my 1.7 pound Sony bluetooth speaker on my bike and it sounds good but the music is coming from behind me on the bike rack and the speaker is heavy. With the Baby Boom, I have the speaker facing right in front of me on the handle bar so I can hear it better and it sounds louder. I play my music loud and it is only at 70% max volume. Any more and it is too loud and it will drown out traffic (bad for safety reasons). The weight doesn't effect my ride at all because it weighs a measly 3.9 ounces and its so small. It doesn't effect my steering at all. I highly recommend it for bike riders. Here is a tip.... Use a thicker zip tie and have the speaker front facing you while hanging. Also some people said some bluetooth speakers effect bluetooth connection of their bike computer. I have no problem. I put the speaker on the other side of the bike computer.

She loves it, sounds good enough for her usage. Perfect for school bus trips with the team. Nice and compact as well as water resistant. Very reasonably priced.

This is the second one of these I buy. I like them because they are small, good quality build and feel. It is water resistant, but the description is confusingly described as IP67 rating which means it should endure submersion under water but it says the speaker 'floats in water', so not sure if it is truly IP67 rated, but I have used it in the shower under heavy rain with no problem, so it will survive splashes and soaking with no problem, just make sure the rubber cap for the USB port and audio jack is in place! The sound is surprisingly good for a speaker this size and this price range, seems that Altec Lansing did a good job in balancing the audio to make the most of the small package, it has a rich mid range sound for most types of music and voice, but with surprising bass sound for this speaker size, the trade off was probably the high frequency range that seems to be weak on some types of music, but still great sound. The bluetooth connection is easy, it shows as 'altec baby boom' device when looking it up on the bluetooth connection menu on your phone. You can also plug directly to it with a 3.5mm stereo plug if needed. Very nice little speaker to carry around for many situations, the sound can fill a mid size room and is good enough for outdoors.

I bought this speaker because I wanted something that was water-resistant and sturdy enough to hook onto my garden cart when I am out in the backyard, and it did not disappoint! I can leave my phone on the pool deck where it won't get wet or dirty and go to the other corner of the backyard and it will still connect beautifully. The speaker is surprisingly loud for such a tiny package, with no distortion or static. The sound quality is wonderful, and there is just enough bass to really enjoy the music without being too overpowering. I also like that even though I can turn up the volume to be quite loud right next to me, if I go into my front yard the volume doesn't travel that far so the neighbors are going to be upset. Not saying that you can't still hear it - just that I'm not going to be blowing away the entire neighborhood. The battery/charge life on this is great, too. I had it playing at close to max volume for somewhere between 5-6 hours! (I wasn't timing it, just outside working in the yard all day). The recharge time isn't very long, either. I charged it while taking a short break from the garden, and was back to jamming within thirty minutes or so. All in all a great buy!

I went to Best Buy to look for a gift for a Secret Santa, and saw this speaker that boasted it's ruggedness for only $20. I figured it would be a great gift for anyone really! Thought it was so cool, and said to myself "Hey, why just for Secret Santa? I want one too!" so I bought myself one too. Ideal for listening in the shower. Love that it is waterproof and shockproof and the little caribiner clip makes it so handy. Sound quality is gerat and it honestly gets pretty loud! Love it and hope the person I give it to does as well!

this speaker is pretty small, but has decent sound and volume for such a small package! Very impressed with this speaker...most small speakers are only good enough to be used by one person to listen to their music in a confined space...this speaker is completely capable of being used at a moderate size party to play music. The sound is pretty good over all and it has some decent bass so the music is full not just straight treble sounding. a nice touch to this speaker is you can buy a second one and link it to the first one so you have your music playing through both speakers simultaneously enhancing the sound and distance of the music. other good features are it has a rechargeable battery, a clip to clip it to yourself or other object, it also allows for incoming phone calls, it can be connected to the audio source by Bluetooth or an audio cable, you can add another speaker for enhanced audio sound and it is water proof! for under $30.00 this is a great compact speaker!

This speaker fits the bill of being small enough to take around without much thought + packs enough punch where audio is satisfying. The rubber casing means I can take it outdoors and not have to worry about it breaking or scratching up from simple drops. And the fact that it's water resistant means I can have it in places like pools or even the bathroom and not have to worry about water or moisture damaging it. Definitely a great deal if you can nab it on sale, but even at full price, it feels fair.

Highly recommended. Loud enough for such an small size. Practical and easy to carry. Light weight. Easy to use and battery last long enough.
