Great picture. Works well with all video camera programs and apps. good quality video, not too narrow of a FOV (field-of-view), or too wide for personal use for 1 to 2 people at a computer screen. The only drawback to this item is the only barely passable sound from the microphone, however, I have an external for sound, and did not expect much.

Bought this for the wife for her work. She has multiple screens and laptop sits on an angle, thus camera wasn't in front of her. *Pros: Camera function works perfectly, crisp clear vision with autofocus. Attachment grasps on the screen well with enough cushion. *Cons: Well, everything about this camera was great except every time you restart, login/logoff the volume of the microphone gets so low no one can hear you. Normal mic volume increase thru settings or taskbar doesn't do the trick. You've to go into the control panel sound settings, then recording, then mic, then increase volume there. However, again this resets itself every time you restart. Shortcuts to bring that dialogue and increasing it every time just didn't cut it for the wife. I'm tech savvy, wife's local admin on laptop. No drivers, nothing to set. Checked settings of usb power not to turn of to save battery, etc. from device manager didn't fix it.. So we returned it. If you are ok with an external mic, then this camera is good. I don't know if this was a faulty batch because I did see another reviewer complaining about the same issue, but no too many people seem to be complaining about it... Instead, we bought a NexiGo 1080p camera with higher reviews also with autofocus, half the price and works perfectly.. Didn't care for 2K.. Don't know how to properly rate this.

Price was right at $39. Video quality is good. Mics aren't the greatest but not sure any similar cameras are better. Fits my needs for a small investment. Getting it mounted on my monitor is a little tricky.

Tried to take a chance on this item. For $40 its okay, but all my Zoom calls people have trouble hearing me. Doesn't control glare lighting from the outside window well at all.

Microphone is marginal. Picture quality is great. Lighting and autofocus is okay. Very good quality to price ratio.

Overall the camera works well. The microphone could be a little better but for the price it works good.

This is the review you need to read. Look at all the other 1 star reviews. Not impressed when i opened it out of the box, uses old usb technology. Looks and feels cheap holding it. Plugged it in and the camera did anything but impressed me. The auto focus was an amusement because my previous webcam didn't feature it. At least my Logitech webcam was fully functional. Microphone problems was the last thing i thought that would be an issue for a product marked $130. No one can hear me on zoom. I now realize why theres two because if there was only one i don't think the lord above would even hear you. Returning this promptly and going with logitech. Do not ever stray away from Logitech, they will never let you down. Aluratek will let you down. Worst product I have ever purchased for the pandemic. I actually would want compensation for the inconvenience this caused over zoom since a feature as basic as a microphone failed to work. Bottom Line: If I haven't conveyed to you yet how much I hate this product here it is. If you are thinking about buying it, go away. You are in the wrong place. Go logitech! they even spell tech right.

I use my PC internal Webcam for Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. I wanted an external Webcam for improved video quality over the internal webcam on my HP PC. I purchased the Aluratek 2K Ultra HD Webcam since it was marketed as Ultra HD device. I did the normal "plug an play" connection to initiate for use. The video quality for this camera was great! However, the MIC performance was not great. I tried various steps in modifying the MIC setting on the PC and within Microsoft Teams, but more oft than not, others on the calls could barely hear me, or my sound quality was muffled. Toggling the MIC settings would sometimes help, but not always. I eventually had to return the product because of it's subpar MIC performance.

Picture appeared "washed out" compared to prior webcam, which was over 10 years old. Luckily, these days, most applications have additional filters to address the lack of color from this device. The field of view was the same, very wide, which is what we were looking for. The focus time was much quicker than our prior cam as well. However, the microphone started to fade after a few weeks, to the point where we were having to yell at our TV from across the the room. No amount of mic adjustments could recover the lack of mic volume. Our old webcam still works fine in this dept. Will try to exchange, otherwise, it's a return.

Camera oftentimes has a hard time focusing. Not great in low light. Microphone is terrible.

Video quality is great but microphone not so much. Unable to use due to not being heard.

Nice cam. Install effortless. Have curved monitor and sits well on top. Not the greates mic but does the job.

Poor image quality and horrible microphone. I looked like I was in the dark no matter how many lights were on or how bright it was. No one could hear me when I used the built in microphone. No worth the money - at all! No software to adjust image quality or microphones.

The camera is fine. The microphone does not work well at all. Tried it with Zoom . People on the other end can barely hear us. Even when we bring the mic up to your mouth. The audio is crap! Total waste of money!

HUGE waste if money. In a world where phones and other products come stock with great cameras this is a big letdown. Poor picture quality and poor mic.

Microphone sounds like I am at the bottom of the ocean. Bought it for work, and it is unusable. Returning.

Image projected on screen is backward and also microphone does not work.

The picture and video quality is very good. I've only used it during the daytime, and it handled the light levels well. The auto focus doesn't seem to do a bad job so far. The microphone isn't good. I have to be right next to it for people to hear me on various apps like discord. That's ok for me because I use a headset anyway. Super easy to set up.
