Customers are saying

Customers love the Fire TV Stick (3rd Gen) for its ease of use, affordability, and excellent streaming capabilities. Many appreciate the improved performance and the functionality of the remote control, which includes TV controls. While some users mention needing to replace the remote's batteries frequently and a desire for more storage, the positive feedback on ease of use and streaming outweighs these concerns. The device is also praised for its ability to upgrade non-smart TVs to smart TVs.

Needs more onboard memory. I had it for less than a week and after downloading apps from a previous devices it begin asking to make space. Other than that I think it's the better of two worlds. It's the middle Amazon child that performs better than it's cheaper little brother.

It’s a great way to turn a tv into a smart TV…but, could use more onboard memory considering that there is sooooooooo many apps that are available to download (so you’ll have to pick and choose which apps are most important otherwise you’ll run out of space on the stick)

I have an older flat screen with no built in apps. The fire stick works great. I had a first generation stick with not enough memory. This one works great

My only problem with Fire TV is lack of memory and the ability to sort purchased movies! Other than that it is the best streaming service right now. The new remote starting making me dependent on the service, but I still need to sort my VOD purchases. Why doesn't Amazon address this?

Solid piece for anything related to Amazon Prime. Could maybe use more memory or processing power but gets the job done. Good video quality as well

First time buying a streaming stick. Works quite good. I wished there was more memory. A bit slow sometimes.

Way better than the older version. So happy I purchased (2) of these to replace the old ones in my home.

Good value, wish it had more options, an expanded memory and a less fiddly remote.

Love the firesticks, but seems this one doesn’t have as much memory? So get the more expensive one

Compared to Roku, I don't like The Firestick.

I might have a defective unit. We don't download many apps. The apps I don't want, I have removed. Several days later, I'm out of memory again and the device wants to download a Nexflix app after having used it several days earlier. I'm tired of re-installing the same apps, only to re-installi again several days later with unknown memory issues. I like the remote more than Roku streaming device. But the Roku device is much faster opening apps. Whereas the Firestick is much slower....

I bought two of these. If you visit two or three different sites in Silk, it crashes. I guess, there is little memory and has poor memory management software. I would not buy this model. Perhaps, the other models would work better, but I am not going to waste more money.

Hello, SiaM. Thank you for the feedback and I am sorry that you are experiencing an issue with the Fire TV Stick. If you are having problems with the Silk browser, I recommend clearing the App Data and Cache. You can do this by 1. Going into settings and selecting applications 2. Select Manage Installed Applications 3. Scroll through the list until you see the Silk browser and select. 4. Select Clear Cache and then Clear Data. If these steps do not help, and you still have functionality issues you can call Amazon customer service, available 24/7 for assistance on the device. You can reach them at 1-888-280-4331. I hope this information is helpful, thank you! AmazonDevices
