got one of these to replace the recently withdrawn Vodafone TV. It's very stable and responsive and the remote works well (it's Bluetooth and is much easier to use for Fast Forward than our Apple TV remote which was touchy). You can sideload the Freeview app for live streaming (instructions for this are on geekzone nz forum - search for "How to install Freeview on Amazon Fire stick max 4K"). Loading VLC from the Amazon app store also lets it stream video from my NAS (albeit I had to use the Downloader install an earlier version of VLC due to a glitch with latest release that was requiring password access to the NAS - info on the net via google). Has voice command, using the Alexa interface. The only down-side is excessive Amazon marketing on the home screen, but you can customise your favourite apps onto the primary ribbon. I'm very happy with this device.

This is the second Amazon Fire stick that I purchased. I enjoyed the first one for the living room TV, I bought a second one for the bedroom television. There are many different viewing options to use when you have the Fire Stick installed on the TV. The main reason for purchasing the stick was to eliminate the 2 cable boxes I use in the house. Definitely a highly recommended item !

The latest fire stick worked like a charm. I love the new control. It has all my latest short cuts to my favorite apps.

Way faster than the 2nd generation sticks and with the extra TV volume, mute and power controls are a great leap forward in usability. The batteries don't drain fast like the first generation sticks.

I love this remote better than others, due to the secret button I never which was there. And we've owned about 8 of them so far. The button that looks like a tv is actually to a guide of shows and movies. I guess we never paid attention

Works great! Had to replace old firestick because it stopped working and this one is basically the same as what I had. My old one lasted two years and died. Hopefully this one will last longer.
