    Great Kid's Electric Scooter

Overview of this product: - Intended for children ages 6-12. I had my 7yo and 10yo nieces try it out and they were both able to easily use it without any major issues. - Aluminum frame; Weight: ~16 lb - Reflective strips for visibility - Shock absorbers for comfortable rides - Easily foldable with a push of a button, the child could easily carry it around by the base of the stem (the tall pole with the handles) when it's folded over. - The deck (base of the scooter) is surprisingly thin at <1.5" thickness - Operation: Thumb throttle (right hand) and brake (left hand). The throttle has enough resistance so it doesn't zip forward too quickly. There's also a fender brake in the back. - Tiny kickstand on the base - Top speed: 9.3 mph (surprisingly fast for a kids' scooter) w/ speed mode - Range: Originally designed to go a maximum of 3.7 miles but they've since increased it to 5+ miles of range on a single charge. - Max uphill rating is for a 10% incline, which is a sufficient for small hills but may not be suitable for aggressive inclines - the tires are solid 6" so no need for air and has good wear properties. I didn't have this long enough to see HOW it wears but I can't imagine it to be aggressively worn down with casual use.

Easy setup & easy to ride kid's scooter

This is super easy to setup and assemble. Literally unfold the front handlebar stem slide into the base and tighten 2 screws on the stem coupler with the included allen wrench. That’s it. Then just charge and go. I wish the charging cord was a bit longer, but it reaches a plug when charging right next to an outlet. When it is charging, there’s no lights on the scooter itself but there is a red light on the charging pack that changes to green when it’s done charging. Note that the included manual mentions using the rear bumper as a foot break and discusses inflating the tires, but there’s a separate placard that comes attached to the scooter that says “Do not use the back fender as a break. It’s only for removing debris” Also for this particular model it’s got solid tires that don’t need inflating (nice maintenance free!) and simple single hand break for stopping. It looks a little small but it feels rugged and well made. Size wise it’s made for 6 to 12 year old that are under 130 pounds per it’s specs. It has three speeds, but of course our rider likes it on the “fast speed” - he is 8 years old. It’s super easy to collapse and very light weight. It is only 16 pounds. It has a little kickstand and a pretty small footprint overall which makes storing or putting in the car to take to the park easy. Note that there’s no headlights or taillights so it’s definitely not made for riding in the dark (it is a kids scooter after all). It does have a reflector on the rear. There’s no app or additional setup needed. Pretty much just press the power button to turn it on and just hit that button twice to change the speed modes from slow, medium, and high. There’s a right hand finger control for acceleration (similar to most scooters) and hand break on the left for breaking. Like most scooters you have to put a foot on it and kick to start and once the rider is moving pressing the accelerator kicks the drive on. Overall pretty impressed with this little scooter.

Great electric scooter with room for improvements

This is a really cool scooter. My kids enjoy it. There are 3 speed settings. My nine year old is still getting used to it so he likes the slowest speed. While my older son likes the fastest speed setting. You press the power button and it cycles through the speed settings. According to the manual these are the speeds. 1 beep = slowest (3.7mph) 2 beeps = medium (6.2 mph) 3 beeps = fastest (9.3 mph) There is an LED that will flash the same amount as the beeps. The turn it on/off, you long press the power button. To get it going, you will need to push down the lever and give it a little push. Once the momentum goes, the battery will push the scooter forward. The plug itself has a LED light. Red means it's still charging. It turns to green when it is charged. The power button also has a LED light. Green means "good", yellow means "halfway", red means "very low" - make sure you're near a charger or you'll be walking the rest of the way. This also has a kickstand which is a plus. It folds just like other scooters. You have to be careful not to press on the back fender. Unlike, regular scooters where you use these as brakes, on this particular scooter, it serves as mud/dirt flaps. It is not meant for braking. There's a photo that warns you about it. Not many people mention it so I will. The power adapter supports 100-240V input. You should be able to plug in overseas w/o a transformer. You may need a plug adapter depending on the country you're going to. This is a great scooter for kids but here are some things to consider or ideas for future versions. - The hand brake needs to be improved. My kids say it doesn't slow fast enough. Although, it doesn't go too fast, they just put their feet off the scooter and stop if they can't slow down fast enough. - The power cable is too short. It's about 40" long. - I don't think the handlebar height is adjustable. It's about 30" from the foot platform to the handlebars.

Great scooter that is very easy to assemble. All it takes is to insert the handle and tight in two screws with included tool. Scooter can be folder easily with simple release handle and unfolds the same way. Has nice small kick stand so it could be placed nice without failing down. Because of the battery pack it does have pretty good amount of weight for kids scooter, but even when battery runs out it still can be used and driven - as regular scooter. So no need to carry it once battery runs out. Scooter has 3 electric speeds and you can switch between them by pressing power button on the right side by the rear wheel, and small LED light indicator does help to navigate between speeds. It won't pick electric power from stop, so must be pushed little bit first - like a regular scooter. I guess that is good to ensure that kid has driving balance before power kicks in. Handbrake it's little bit hard to press for my kids and I am not sure will it get softer with time, but just releasing power switch does slow it down a lot. My kids are 8 and 9 and half but they find this scooter little bit too fast regardless of speed being used, but I believe with time they will get used to it. That being said I do recommend use of kneepads and halmets for kids.

Bought for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. We have had it for over 6 months now and it is still one of her favorite things to ride. It goes pretty fast, but the settings can be adjusted. It holds a pretty good charge for the day but she always plugs it in when she isn’t using it.

It is very lightweight and folds so you can take this anywhere. The charging cord could be a bit longer. Also it would be great to have an adjustable height on the handlevar part. Ladtly, the brake was a little tough for my kid, you gotta pull really hard on it. otherwise its great!

Purchased Anyhill UM-3 for my daughter. She loves it! She has had other scooters in the past but this one by far has been her favorite as she says she feels safer. She says she is not afraid of breaking! She is able to fold it and carry it on her own. Another thing she loves is that she can change the speeds depending on how she feels on the roads. Overall very happy with this purchase as it has provided many hours of fun for her already. We did buy the extended battery and i would definitively recommended as it allows for her to keep riding without stopping.

This is a perfect kids' electric scooter. It is designed for kids 8-15 years old. He has been asking for an electric scooter for some time now and was thrilled to receive this. We made a deal that he would always wear his helmet and knee pads which they also recommend. Safety was one of the main reasons for waiting and researching. And this gets a checkmark on everything on my list. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Putting it together only took a few minutes since the only thing we had to do was ready it for use by preparing the handlebar. I like that there are 3 different speeds, it’s a good way to get use to using this and feel comfortable. He says that he is now a pro-escooter rider and uses the highest speed which is 9.3mph most times. But his younger cousin uses the middle speed. It rides pretty smoothly, it is stable and not loud and noisy, like others I’ve seen. I was nervous about how well the brake would work and I am so relieved because it works very well and quickly in a safe way. Both him and his younger cousin have no issues with using the brakes and the scooter stopping when we expect it to. There’s also a double-brake feature which makes me even more comfortable. Charging the scooter is also simple. Be sure to check the light to know when the battery is charged and also get an idea of the percentage left so the child is always prepared with enough battery power until it can be charged again. He is able to fold up and carry it to the trunk by himself so it’s very lightweight and easy to carry. All in all, great choice for a simple, safe electric scooter for a young child.

My grandson’s face lit up when I gave him this scooter. Anyhill has been around for awhile making quality scooters for adults, and they just came out with this economical one designed for kids. It’s lightweight, just 16 pounds and folds for easy carrying and storing. You can set it for three different maximum speeds for your child, 4, 6 or 9 mph. Just push with your foot to get it started and you’re on your way. Totally silent. It was easy to assemble; it comes with all the tools you’ll need. Just push the handlebar stem down over the larger bolt, then tighten it and the other two bolts. Everything else is already assembled. Attach the charger until it lights up green and it's ready to go. You’ll always know how much life you have in your battery, there’s a bright light on the side of the scooter. When its green you’ve got at least 50 per cent battery life, orange is over 20 and red is less than that. I noticed after several minutes when not in use, the scooter turns itself off, which is good because kids are likely to forget to do that. All in all, this is a well-built electric rechargeable scooter that kids should really enjoy. As a parent or grandparent, just make sure they always are wearing a helmet and knee pads would be a great idea too.

Perfect for my child! This scooter is lite weight and easy to put away. We got the chance to ride on a semi warm day and we had so much fun. What is cool, my child has control right at the tip of her thumb to control the speed. Max weight is 153lbs but it was sturdy good for my child at 135lbs. Very easy to unbox and put together! Tires are 6in. It handled my weight just for me standing on it but I wouldn’t dare to ride it but I had to test the sturdiness before my kid rode it. Safety- Very safe. It has two breaks, hand and foot, with 3 controlled speed modes, again it’s controlled by the thumb. It was a smooth ride thanks to the great shock absorption it took and the over all weight is 16lbs when carrying. Also good battery life, you can get a good 2 hours before thinking about charging it again. We took it for a spin on the bike track/park and I was relieved with my kid staying ahead of me while I rode my regular bike. The fastest my kid went was at least 7mph. It has quick acceleration so keep that in mind if your kid will be independent. The electric lime color is nice because it stands out and it’s good for reflection in my experience. Your kid will definitely enjoy!
