I had just purchased it and two days later the power went out. It only lasted 30 minutes. The only devices plugged in were a DVR and a small monitor for the camera system.

2 bad units

One was fine, second one had a high pitched whine to it as soon as we set it up. Returned the whiney one for a 3rd one. 29 days later {thankfully barely still within the return policy} the first one just full out died. Wouldn't power up at all... Hoping the replacement we got for the whiney one holds up but I'm done with these.

Defective battery not charging error

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review. The runtime would depend on how much wattage the connected equipment is drawing. There is a chance that the equipment is pulling more than expected. The BX1000M-LM60 would provide 4 minutes of runtime at full capacity, 600 watts. At half capacity, 300 watts, the runtime would be around 13 minutes.

Horrible Product

If you are getting 5 minutes of runtime the power draw of the devices should be around 450 watts. The typical recharge time would be around 12 hours but the first time the unit is powered up it can take 24hours to fully charge. If the UPS continues to take 24hours to charge or the power draw is much lower than 450 watts please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. Horrible shipping and item was open box

I wouldn't mind but usually open box are sold at a lower price, that is not what i bought. The shipping box was falling apart, the actual box in which the battery came was somewhat beat up also. This is not about the performance of the actual battery I was just so mad that shipping was so careless.
