HomePod 2 surprisingly cool!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple HomePod gen 2 could be for you! By itself it honors the sound spectrum that the first HomePod introduced, although me, as a gen 1 owner can notice the difference that the absence of two mics cause, I love loud music, unhealthy levels of volume. Siri will struggle to hear the command once the volume goes above 76% to me this is a deal breaker. But apple HomePod gen 2 could be for you if you’re a human being that cares for your hearing health and only reproduce your content at reasonable levels of volume, making this, the best sounding home speaker that also supports Siri. Not the smartest assistant but she does best what the HomePod is suppose to do,

HomePod 1 vs HomePod 2
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would play them one at a time and switch it to 1 and then 2 and in my opinion, the 1st generation sounds better. The bass on the 1st generation sounds deeper compared to the 2nd generation. But playing them together sounds really good but I would have to turn the volume up or down on one of them because the volume doesn’t match. Overall though I’m happy. Maybe in the next update they can fix that issue of the volume.

Overall experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like how far the speaker can pick up my voice commands, also I like the bass of the speaker but i feel it could be a little louder. I dont like that its not portable and the price is kinda high.

High fidelity speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Offers very balanced, high fidelity sound. Better than the Gen 1 product I used to have. The set up with an Apple product is very easy. Just hold your iOS product nearby and boom it’s paired. Just two criticisms; every once in a while AirPlay 2 does lose its connection but it’s easy to reconnect and then it works fine and it doesn’t play as loud as my Denton 150 speaker. Deign is classy looking and it’s well constructed.

Better than Version 1
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost the same sound as version 1 with one important exception - this one doesn't have the "booming" bass (although bass output is strong and punchy). In addition to the smart features, V2 just sounds better, although the volume is not has high as V1 at same levels. Mids seem a bit stronger. Overall, worth the upgrade.

Great sound.

Not worth the high price point
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound quality is OK. I think it could definitely be louder. That is my main issue with it. Siri as the AI isn't that great, making it not really worth the value. An echo is honestly better in my opinion. there are more third-party accessories that can be used with echoes there's a wider array of echoes. I mainly just got this because I do have Apple Music and it makes it easier to listen to then it does on my echo. But the price isn't worth it..
