Apple has definitely made some much needed changes in future proofing the IPhone. The XR is a sweet addition to IPhone’s line up. It has a new powerful processor, updated camera with additional photo options, and a larger screen to add to the mix. It falls right in between the XS and the XS max but adds more colorful options. This phone is durable, looks expensive, and is clearly made of quality materials unlike the previous “C” models that were added in the past. If you are in the market for a new cellular device I highly recommend the latest Line up of iPhones. Due keep in mind that these phones come at a cost, and although made of good materials they are definitely overpriced. Check out the XR if you want to save a few bucks but it still will set you back! I would have gave the phone 5 stars but then that would mean that it was perfect, and although the phone is great there is some room for future improvements and the phone is overpriced.

This is our first smart and selected the iPhone XR based on our research and what Matt, the BB associate, had to say about the iPhone. We're pleased to say that we're quickly learning how to use our new iPhones.

    BEST iPhone I've ever owned

Prior to the iPhone XR, my favorite all time cell phone was the iPhone 5s. The 5s is still in full OS12 status with Apple and was an out-of-this-world device for me. I got excited about the coming of the iPhone 6 and 6s a few years back and unfortunately let myself get talked into buying a horrible LG G4 product. Nearly two years later I purchased the iPhone 7 plus - a superb device that thankfully got me back into the iPhone eco system. The 7 plus was highly serviceable and did everything I wanted it to do - and then some. It was just a little larger than I like a phone to be and clumsy in the hand at times. But with a great delight and a super Best Buy deal, I purchased the iPhone XR around Christmas time. I had to learn the new gestures, which I did fear a little, but had it down within an hour. I have to say, three things blew me away: 1) the camera. It was an amazing upgrade over the camera on the 7 plus; 2) the phones battery. I keep trying to to run this battery out and can't do it! Well, I've come around 10 percent but I can tell you the battery is as good as advertised and by far the best battery I've had in a cell phone. 3) the screen. It is a beautiful display on this phone. Don't feel that because it's not OLED it's not good. Actually, the display is great and far better than any I've ever had on a phone. A couple of more things to note: my bill came down from $32 a month to $16 with Sprint. All that for the best cell phone by far I've ever owned. Also, unlike the XS and X Max, you get 64, 128, and 256 GB. I am a 128 GB guy and loved that it was available. I bought product red which mostly hides behind an excellent Tech 21 case. This case has a slide that covers and protects the lens and a carry case if you choose the use it. A perfect companion for this phone. In the end, I cannot recommend the iPhone XR enough. I thought this phone would take off as it is a great deal from Apple for all that it offers. I do remember the 7 plus got off to a slow start years back, but once people warmed up to it, it became a top seller. Perhaps the best days for the XR are ahead for it.

The size of the screen is bigger yet the phone is smaller than previous Iphone. I love the facial recognition feature. It took me a little bit to get used to not having the thumb button, and without it some functions are different like screen shots and what not but I got used to it in about a week. The facial recognition feature is also available for you to use on your apps, like your mobile banking, etc. so that way if someone was to get into your phone, they cannot auto log into your personal stuff. The camera quality is GREAT! You also have the portrait feature in both forward and selfie mode, you can get really good quality photos. Highly recommend

Love this phone. Pros: Just as fast the XS Bigger screen than XS or 8Plus, only slightly smaller than Xs Max No home button is great! Face ID works wonderfully $250 to $350 less than Xs or Xs Max Battery life best of all iPhone. Coming from 2yr old 7Plus, easily 3 hours longer. Cons: LCD not quite as good as OLED on Xs, most won't even notice. No close up camera (how often do you really use it?)

I was never totally sold on my 7 0plus, so I upgraded to the Galaxy 10 plus. What a piece of crap with sucky battery life, over complicated cameras, and ads. I was constantly trying to overcome glitches, too. The finger scan deal nor the facial recognition ever worked. So, I went back to Best Buy, said a prayer, and bought my X(r). Best phone ever! A tad smaller than my 7plus but I don’t miss the size because the button is gone and the screen size is about the same. The battery life is outstanding! I take hundreds of videos clips and pics of my kids’ sporting events and the battery life just plugs along. There are days that I don’t even have to charge my phone! The camera remains straight forward and the pics are better than the 7plus despite losing a camera. The pics on this camera are about 800 times better than the Galaxy 10plus, too. The facial is great but sometimes I am frustrated because it isn’t an easy swipe as I am driving or getting ready in the morning. Siri needs improvement, she is a bit stubborn at times and refuses to work. But it doesn’t bug me too much because I have teenagers at home, I am used to the attitude. Oh. Btw, the red color is gorgeous, too!!

This Iphone Xr is great. I'm just beginning to scratch the surface of what this phone can do. With the camera, no Home button, Face ID. Leaps and bounds ahead of the Iphone 6 I had. Finally after 5 years, the charging port failed. So I have high expectations for the next 5 years for this Xr. My only issue(part of the reason I waited this long) is the headphone jack, or lack there of. I understand the economics of moving to wireless but I still like my corded Bose headphones. But I'll survive and adapt. This Iphone Xr is teriffic.

I recently upgraded from an IPhone SE to an IPhone XR! My IPhone SE was dying on me slowly but surely, so I decided to upgrade to a new phone before it was too late! Since I previously owned an IPhone I was pretty familiar with some of the apps and how they function. The XR is truly fun to have and mines came with a new 64 GB Sim card. The speed of the Internet browser and online streaming for apps is amazing! Since I am on the Sprint network they were offering buy get one free. I bought the color red And mind yellow for wife. It also has the Face ID instead of the fingerprint ID. This is quite new for me, but actually it's not that bad. Overall, I love the sleek design, the larger screen to view media, the speed of the phone, and the battery life is awesome!

I picked up this 10XR around Thanksgiving time, and boy am I happy I did. It’s a huge upgrade from my iPhone 5 in both performance and size. Performance, speed, wireless charging, size, FaceID...did I mention size? Oh battery life is outstanding and jumping from 16 to 64GB is life changing. If you are looking to upgrade this is a great choice.

A nice upgrade from an iPhone 6S

Let me start by saying I’ve had a 16 GB iPhone 6s for about three years, and it was time to upgrade so I could have more storage. I compared the iPhone X, XR, and XS. The iPhone XR was a good deal among the three at a lower price and with an additional discount from Best Buy if you choose the monthly payments option when upgrading. Face ID is actually a pretty nice feature. Having the whole front face of the phone being a screen is nice and now my 6s screen looks so small when comparing it with my XR. The iPhone XR is a little big so it takes some getting used to. Overall, I think this is a nice upgrade if you need more storage on your phone or just need a new phone, but it’s not a MUST-have if your old phone works fine for you.

I upgraded from a 4 year old iPhone 6. Storage (16g) full and could no longer update and the battery was starting to fail. I was going to get the xs with the better camera but decided against the extra expense. The customer service agent was able to move all data and settings over to my new iPhone. What a fantastic service! This was not the case when I gave up my blackberry 4 years ago. The phone is fantastic. It’s fast, bigger screen and dozens of other really cool features that my 6 didn’t have. I got used to not having a home button after about three times picking up the phone and it wasn’t there. Lol Next will be some wireless earbuds and maybe a wireless charger for Christmas. Until then, the earbuds that come with the phone work great using the lightning jack.

This phone is for my daughter - she wanted it since I have the same one for work. Screen is a good size with sharp contrast, fast network response. I had a learning curve going from Google to Apple - my daughter had not issues going from the iPhone 8 to the XR. Camera is much improved over the iPhone 8. In our area of Massachusetts, she has no network issues with Sprint. I can't say the same for AT&T there is spotty network coverage. She is perfectly happy with the 128GB memory - she had 256 GB on her prior phone and barely used the memory.
