The Apple Smart Folio for the 11-inch iPad Pro offers a straightforward and functional solution for protecting your iPad. It serves its primary purpose, but its simplicity and price point may leave some users expecting more. Pros: 1. Basic Protection (3/5): The Smart Folio provides adequate protection for the front and back of your iPad Pro. It keeps the tablet safe from scratches, dust, and minor bumps. The slim design maintains the iPad's sleek profile. 2. Auto Wake/Sleep (4/5): The built-in feature that automatically wakes the iPad when the folio is opened and puts it to sleep when closed is convenient. It helps conserve battery life and is a user-friendly touch. 3. Slim and Lightweight (4/5): The folio's slim profile and lightweight design make it easy to carry around and use on the go. It doesn't add significant bulk to the iPad. Cons: 1. Limited Functionality (3/5): While the Smart Folio covers the essentials of protection, it lacks additional functionality found in more versatile cases. There's no built-in stand for adjustable viewing angles or keyboard functionality. 2. Price (2/5): Considering its relatively basic design and functionality, the Smart Folio is quite expensive. Users may expect more features for the price. 3. Limited Color Options (3/5): The Smart Folio comes in limited color options, which may not cater to users looking for a wider variety of styles to choose from. 4. Durability (3/5): Some users have reported that the folio's materials show signs of wear and tear over time. Given its price, durability expectations may be higher. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Apple Smart Folio for the 11-inch iPad Pro is a straightforward and minimalistic choice for protecting your tablet. It provides basic coverage, auto wake/sleep functionality, and a slim profile. However, it falls short in terms of versatility and added features, especially considering its relatively high price point. If you prioritize simplicity and are willing to make compromises in functionality for the sake of a sleek design, the Smart Folio may be suitable for your needs. However, those seeking more features and a broader range of style options may want to explore other cases and folios on the market.

    Nice but a Pain

Case is nice, but hard to clean. Once the silicone gets dirty, you need to really try and clean it. The fibers inside also are prone to detaching if you really try and clean the dirt stuck.

Its slim, but doesn't protect any corners. Does the bare minimum and is costly. Better to use cheap version of this folio which provides the same or better protection.

Pros: -I've gone through so many generic folio covers, this one is the best for my iPad Pro 11" -Minimalistic and functionable -Gives bare bones protection without adding weight and bulk Cons: -Gives bare bones protection -the stand to have your iPad set up vertically in landscape fashion is not very sturdy at all -$80? This rubberized cardboard is literally $20 less than an Apple Magic Keyboard! Overall: The ONLY reason I got this cover was because it was for sale for $59.99 at my local Best Buy. I still see no justification for $80 for a rubberized cardboard cover. This gives you the bare minimum of protection. Since I'm generally very careful with my iPad Pro 11" anyway, that's not a big deal. I've used a few 3rd party protection gimmicks and they add some bulk and weight to my iPad Pro. This folio cover does not. Bottom line, if you don't mind paying Apple premium prices for a bare bones folio cover, by all means, get this. But if the price is too much and you already dropped $$$$ on your iPad Pro and don't want to fork out even more, there are $20 alternatives that may feel cheap but at least give you something that provides more protection

Fine protection when on, but detaches fairly easily and the viewing angles are not right for me. I purchased a return at a clearance price, so not worth it to return.

It works, for the most part, nothing special. The magnet can sometimes slip and doesn't always prop the iPad at the angle I want. I don't think it is worth the price. I would have rather spent the extra money and got the magic keyboard or spent less and gotten an off-brand cover.

Kinda Flimsy and doesn’t offer that much protection but is unique! iPad snaps to case like a magnet but offers very little protection. Hasn’t fallen out yet keeping fingers crossed! It does prop the iPad up well!

The case is nice. But even at the open box price I paid for it ($55), it is just over priced for what it does. for about $16 you can get a nearly exact knock off online, with a magnetic flap to hold the pen in place.

The material used this time by apple is not very good. I feel like I have to baby the case. It shows fingerprints and attracts dust like crazy. I don’t know why apple would use a material that shows this may defects so easily.

Not very sturdy or protective. It was hard to keep bent back into a leaning position. Also leaves a lot of the device exposed.
