This key board does not work like a typical computers keyboard. It stalls and it will not back up to delete each character. Yes, I tried another one and his might be the feature of the smaller IPads. Returned it to store ad the said that this one has had complaints abut it. Bought a different brand recommended b sales person in the store that would work with this apple Ipad and while it works better than the apple one, it too has breaks in it’s ‘flow’ of printing what I am typing. Trying to work with it before giving up and returning both iPad and keyboard! Disappointing.

I was under the impression that this was a keyboard and a case. It is not, it is just the keyboard. It does not lie flat. The price from Best Buy is $40. higher that amazon, I just discovered this, and it is past the time to return it.

I wanted a case with a keyboard and one that was also protective. Turns out, this didn’t fit the bill. It didn’t serve as a case & didn’t cover the screen. So, I returned it, with no problem and exchanged it for the LogiTech Rugged Folio. Love it!! It has a keyboard & the case is very protective, folds over the screen & closes with a magnetic flap. Great customer service from Best Buy & a great LogiTech Rugged Folio!

This only covers one side of the iPad. It is magnetic which is a bit concerning for holding onto the tablet. I originally bought it because it is made by Apple for an iPad. BUT this is not worth it. The tablets are not cheap. I think you would want something that protects the ENTIRE tablet.

A rep at Best Buy referred me to this item, because i was looking for a keyboard for my new apple iPad Air (the new one that just came out) and well, I bought it, suuuuper stoked to try out my new keyboard and iPad. Well, I wasn’t after i unboxed the keyboard. It didn’t work with my new iPad, and I was disappointed. The new iPad has like 3 little ‘magnetic’ bottoms on the lower back, and the keyboard which was the main reason why it didn’t connect to it, and also the sort of diagrams the keyboard had for putting it on weren’t very helpful. So I returned the keyboard and I got a new one! And it actually works! (Logitech folio touch for iPad Pro 11 inch)

Keyboard will not work with cover. Waste of money.

Cost way to much money and you get nothing in return. Item was returned

Not user friendly for the average user, if you plan to remove and change the cover frequently it can be cumbersome

Don’t buy anything from Best Buy! Bad customer service! Buy direct from any of their product web sites or Amazon!

Terrible would not recommend. No features very frustrating to use. Heats up very hot with in few minutes not safe to use.

Do not waste your money. There are dozens of better options elsewhere. Design is clumsy. Its not a case at all. And best buy has the worse return policy in this market.

This has been my second purchase and just dont have the choice at this point. Always having a problem with the keyboard hanging when using.

I have been through three of these keyboards in the past four years. They all worked fine at the beginning but stopped working with a message about the accessory not being supported. I’ll never buy another one of these keyboards.

There are other cases that cover the entire iPad. This one does not and comes off easily.

The keyboard works fine. It has a clever magnetic strip for power. Maybe it was a power issue, but for the price paid, I would have expected a lighted keyboard. I regret that I made a wrong assumption. Even my cable tv remote is lighted. Let’s see how long it lasts.

The sales rep that helped me said this keyboard was compatible to the IPAD Air I was purchasing. He also looked up the specs on his phone and on the back of the box. Keyboard was not compatible.

You can buy 5 better keyboards for this price!!!!!

For the value this is not worth $199. Found a much cheaper keyboard that was more fully featured (backlit keyboard, multiple configuration, case) for much less.
