I purchased a new iPad & of course I needed a new card reader to transfer my photos from my camera to my iPad. I purchased the Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader. I could not get the iPad to recognize the device. I called Apple & the Apple Rept tried & he couldn’t either. He suggested it may be defective. I returned to BB for another one. The BB Member helped me with the new one. It did not work either. BB did refund my money. Thus the reason for my one star review. Very disappointed…

Worked well 2 times; the 3rd time it did not connect and the jack felt loose. Usually pleased with the quality of all Apple products, but this disappointed due to failing so quickly. Unfortunately, we discovered the failure outside the 15 day Best Buy return policy. So, $40 for 2 uses. Thus 1 star.

I faced some challenges when attempting to read this on my Galaxy phone. When I bought the phone, I was told it would work with this, but upon further investigation, I realized that the description online did not mention compatibility with phones. It is possible that the issue lies with either the phone model or the SD cards that I used. To resolve this, I decided to upgrade my equipment and purchased a new MacBook Pro. As part of the upgrade, I also got the Hyper 7-Port Universal USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Laptops, which I'm extremely happy with.

My order was never delivered!. Shipt returned it to the store and automatically began processing as a return without my authorization. I am still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card, it’s been 15 days and counting. BestBuys return-refund process is way too long, very disappointed. I went directly to Apple instead and purchased.

They wont let me return it back to my card but it was bought for a new laptop I bought that DIDNT WORK 2 x's which made me go over my return period. back info: I had an error message since my laptop would just shut off. I dont recall getting my macbook pro in with a plastic wrap around the box. I just thought that was new only because I ordered it new. Then I bring it in to the farthest store as instructed because there was a replacement for me there only to find out there wasnt a replacement there and that now I had to wait for a new one by mail. The new one came in AND WOULD NOT CHARGE!!!!!! I had to return that one. I am so irritated about it. I decided to not buy a new one.

Did not work at all. Tried to use on samsung phone and it just got really hot to the point it almost burnt my finger.

This was the only card reader Best Buy was offering. Didn’t even read my SD card no matter which port I plugged it in to my laptop. Waste of money. I was too busy with work to be able to make the return so I wasted $40.

If your have an updated iPhone (13 or higher), this thing will absolutely not work. Don’t waste your money!!

Apple’s way to gouge Mac users by requiring dongles to connect with any of your older devices. Apple’s pricing is egregious. .

Could not get it to work. Had help from a neighbor. Returned after a week.

Did not read my SD card, and that was the whole point. I think the card reader would work if Apple made the ipad pro accept it.

I had to return this apple product because it didn’t work on my new iPad Pro 2018. Maybe it needs to be updated

So who did? Can you send me An invoice or something

Does NOT fit iMac - it fits in but falls out. A total waste of money & time (to wait for order to arrive at local store & drive to pick it up)

Will this work on a IMAC with a OS Ventura 13.6.7?
