With the loss of Windows Phone, I had to move. I was trying Android when a friend offered to let me use his old iPhone X. I went all-in when the iWatch 4 price was reduced. At the reduced price, the stainless version is a better choice just for durability. Steel vs aluminum and sapphire vs glass. I did get a clear wrap case. The steel weighs more but feels better, you know it is on your arm. I changed to a conventual third party band. I did not activate the cellular option. It is a great feature if you have occasions where you cannot have your phone. You will still get all of the functionality without the cellular as long as you have your phone nearby. I chose the largest screen, allowing most of the text to be large enough for me to read without glasses. The watch is a great extension to the Apple Ecosystem. It proves what can be done when you control the hardware and the software.

I upgraded to this watch from a Series 3 aluminum 42 mm model. I was deciding between the Series 4 and the Series 5. I ended up going with this watch due to the sale price and the stainless steel model. I didn’t see enough of a reason to get the 5 over the 4. The screen is head and shoulders above the older Series 3. The durability of the stainless steel also stands out over the softer aluminum. It is a cellular watch, but that doesn’t mean that you have to set up the cellular service on it. I would highly recommend this watch, even over the newer Series 5 due to the price point.

Absolutely love everything about this watch. I bought it as a gift to my husband for Christmas and he loves it at well. I bought this on a great sale and I'm so glad I bought the stainless steel over the aluminum face; the presentation/look of it is nicer when paired with a stainless steel band and so far no scratches are noticeable. Use it while swimming, running, and just on a daily basis. Great investment

Extremely happy that I got the stainless steel 44mm version of this product. The stainless steel feels a lot better on the skin, plus the durability makes me feel less nervous about wearing it daily. I am looking forward to the OS fleshing out more, as even 4 series in to the Apple Watch, it still feels limited in capabilities. If you have an iPhone and you can spare the cash, this is a great accessory.

The current price ($399) for series 4 Apple watches in stainless steel is unbeatable. Very few differences compared to the series 5 And they’re much more durable than their aluminum counterparts. I’m so happy to have been able to snag one!

I went from Series 0 to this. Amazing difference. I like the all black case and band. I was very surprised how good the sport band felt. I ended up changing the band with the metal one from my original watch. Liked it so much bought 2 more for other family members. No problems months later

Love this watch. Went with stainless steel and the sapphire crystal because my old 2 still looked liked new after numerous years of use. But as Usual with apple products be ready to spend a good chuck of change.

This Apple Watch is amazing! The stainless steel looks nice, and it is a lot more durable than the aluminum watch as well. The Series 4 is a great upgrade from prior Apple Watches.

My wife wanted the stainless this time around which meant more money. However, if you wear it like she does everyday it is an investment and you can treat yourself with those parameters.

I have been wanting an Apple Watch since the first announcement back in 2015 and I’m finally glad to say I have one. I went with the Stainless Steel version for durability reasons. It has a Sapphire Crystal glass which is scratch resistant for pretty much everyday use (9 on the Mohs Scale). It’s what every Swiss watchmaker uses. The battery has never died on me, but I do charge every night after work. Even so, it’s never gotten below 30%. It’s very useful to track steps and reply to messages. The notifications being sent to your watch is awesome. I would recommend buying one if you’re on the fence, and you’re an iPhone user.

The watch looks good. Doesn’t look chunky at all on my small wrist. I have it on everyday and the gold stainless steel finish is still scratch-free even without a case protector.

I hesitated to buy an Apple Watch. But, I am glad I bought this one. The colors are great and the watch is easy to use. More durable than I thought.

I had series 1, 3 and then 4. this is by far a very wonderful tool in my apple ecosystem. The apps are very useful and has real life application. though I did not activate the cellular but the stainless steel gold casing is very durable. I bough this over a year and it is almost like new. no scratches and no damage. The strap is very good and has shown little wear and tear. You can easily change the strap with other. Very good buy. Like all apple products this is well made

Get the stainless steel model. Everyone will compliment your watch and it's just better materials. You won't regret it.

I chose the stainless version of the watch for durability and I’m pleased with this months later. I also chose the cellular version which I would not do again since I don’t feel that it offers that much more feature-wise unless you like to go places without your phone and talk to your wrist in walk-in-talkie mode. You can stream music over cellular connection from it to a wireless headset but meh... I do like all of the other features and would still choose the same model without cellular.

I love being able to track my steps with the exercise app. I do 10,000 steps per day. It also helps to track how many calories I burn. It tracks how much I stand. Having the watch has enabled me to be healthier. It matches up with my phone very easily. I’m able to listen to music through my AirPods. The stainless steel version is more durable which also was good for me as a clumsy man. I shattered my last Watch. This one is tougher .

I had a 42mm Series 2 Stainless before this and this watch is a step up in virtually every way (except for thickness, which is a good thing!)... I heartily recommend this and with the sapphire screen, I don't have to worry about scratches, putting on a screen protector, etc. The gold coating on the case is also surprisingly rugged, since I chopped down and cut up a medium-sized tree wearing it (I forgot I was wearing it) and had no damage at all!

Easy to assemble and begin using. Only wish was battery lasted more than 2 days before needing to recharge. Did like the preset clock faces. Stainless steel case has held up without scratches after ive bumped wrist on walls.

Made the switch from Garmin. Great watch. Battery life longer than anticipated so far. Paid for the stainless case and sapphire lens because I’m hard on my watches. Expensive but hoping it’s worth it. Price cost it 1 star

Apple series 4 allows for a larger display and great battery life. The sapphire face is GREAT. I tend to be tough on watches and this has held up. I use it for running and speech to text mostly.
