I Purchased this for my Pro 4 XL. Initially bought 4 panels for 4 cameras. Installation is a quick and easy, just like charging the camera. I followed all recommendations to make this perform at the optimal operation. As a background I live in Phoenix, Az that it is sunny most of the time. I installed this with my camera at 100% fully charged and face the panel where it would get all day sun exposure with its positioning. After the week my camera percentage dropped to 35% after moderate use. It was not charging. In fact my camera would die and i’d have to take it down to recharge it. My camera stays at 15-25% battery life with the “it’s charging Indicator.”. The panel always gives a message saying the panel is too hot to charge. You would think that they would have it in mind when developing this camera to withstand all type of climates. I bought 4 of the Arlo Pro XL cameras. The quality is very good but if it’s not working 1/2 the time is it worth it?

I went to buy security cameras. The sales associate did not know what she was doing and sold me solar chargers that did not work with the cameras. I had to return the chargers for different ones and they don't work either. I called and the rep said the chargers are not designed to keep the cameras fully charged. The cameras are mounted up high and are a pain to take down and charge.

We have 2 Arlo floodlights for our property and thought we would use the solar panel since it would be used on our camera facing South. Unfortunately this panel doesn’t even help maintain the charge on the camera - even with sunny days. The other Arlo products we have are great, but in this particular application this was a waste of money.

I purchased 2 of these and I'm not happy with the purchase. They showed as if they were charging my Arlo pro 4 cameras but as days went on the battery life just dropped to nothing. So I still have to bring out the latter to change the batteries.
