So far so good, works better than my old one. Got tired of Spectrum telling me I need my modem updated, and after several attempts to swap it with Spectrum (Long lines in the store) I decided to just buy my own and will return their equipment when I feel like waiting in line for over an hour lol. I am only using this as a Modem and not using the router features as I already have a wireless router. I did find instructions online to disable the routing functions and only use as a modem. I looked this info up before making my purchase. Will use as a spare if my wireless router ever dies. While switching the settings to Modem only, I did notice the interface seems a bit slow with navigation. Loads the different pages very slow which is not fast enough for my liking, however since I only need this as a modem. Once configured, I have no need to go back into the settings. All and all, my speeds are defiantly faster. I wish spectrum would give me faster upload speeds as 11 Mbps is a bit slow for my needs. No fault of this device, it works as it should.

I'm deducting a star because this is literally the ugliest piece of tech I've seen in 20 years. That said, a family member who uses Comcast/Xfinity needed a new modem and router as both his modem and WiFi router were very outdated and slow, and this is what Best Buy had in stock. Setup was easy after a quick call to Comcast. I'm still not sure if the person we talked to was real or an AI chatbot, but that's beside the point. Admin interface is lousy, but good enough for basic configuration. No issues with getting the advertised speeds or better, and WiFi coverage is good enough for his apartment. If you need advanced features and coverage for a large space, this is probably not what you're looking for. The caveat to purchasing your own equipment instead of renting whatever your ISP provides is that if there is an issue or need support, they'll blame your unit and be unwilling to help. But, my family member prefers not to rent his unit for long term savings, and I don't mind helping as needed, so this is a good option that will eventually lead to cost savings.

Quick plug & play. Set up was very easy. I have no overheating issues. Wifi connections are staying connected and solid. Wired connection is very reliable and FAST.

Its fast, but doesnt work well with Comcast Xfinity. The range is excellent, though! Easy to set up!

Works great! Fast download and upload speeds. The only drawbacks are the lack of a reset switch, and an impossible to remember network name. I know this can be changed, however most folks just want to plug and play.

You can't really get a better router modem combo than this for all your needs. It has a very strong radius and extremely fast speeds, especially connected to mobile devices. It took me a minute to set up through my cable provider, but I would recommend that you just call them direct. Don't try to set it up yourself. It'll be much faster.

Good replacement for Comcast modem much faster and easy to install

My old netgear cable modem was past its service life so I needed another one. For the price and speeds I get it was a great value and purchase. I used to have to reset my Netgear modem a lot on my Xfinity broadband. Now with the Arris cable modem I only have reset/restarted it once because of Xfinity issues. I am very happy with my purchase.

Needed to upgrade when we changed internet providers and wasnt doing to do the “its only $10 a month for as long as you have internet!” Settings are easy to change via the app or web browser. Connection is steady and speed test proves speed is at spec! I also make use of the ethernet connections on the rear for our PC’s Would recommend!

I did a lot of research to find my best option for the money I was able to spend. I am completely satisfied with choosing this router/modem combination. My internet speeds have vastly increased. I am no longer having any internet interruptions.

I purchased Arris G34 to replace my more expensive Motorola modem (junk). It is much faster, more reliable, and it restarts itself. Easy but very limited modem setup.

This modem is great with wifi and provides closer speeds to what i pay for compared to comcast moden was rented for 8 years at 16 bucks a month so its well worth it to own ypur own. Plus with total tech protection you have no worries. If your on the fence the set up is simple only a power cord and a coaxial cable and comcast will activate with about 15 minutes of your time. Thabk me later

Arris surfboard modem router work better than breezeline equipment. my speed from up and no buffering

great combo pack, easy to set up and use. it replaced my last one and is twice as fast.

Solid Router/Modem combo. Pros: fast, looks nice, compatible with major isp. Cons: app is not very intuitive. Great option on sale.
