Iffy buy better turtle beach 700 gen 2 (cheaper)

Not as good as I thought it would be at its high price. Would recommend turtle beach gen 2 700 instead. Purchase this so I was able to play with my daughter with my Xbox series X and Playstation 5 (requires a USB Dongle for other system you didn't purchase it for). Also keeps picking up other dongle even though other system is not on.

I have mixed feelings about this headset. For the sound produced I would say it is overpriced. It’s lacking fullness, although it does excellent at special sounds. It is also not very loud…. Xbox hookup is extremely easy, just plug in the usb, wait a second and your good to go. Battery life is great, above average. Comfort is average for the segment. The reason for the two stars is the mic does not work on pc. It picks the headset up as a controller, which is really annoying. I’ve owned other wireless headsets, and have never run into this issue.

Bought this for my pc and the sound quality was pretty good, it’s super lightweight and comfortable, but the mic sounds like I’m talking underwater AND out of a can. I recommend not getting this headset if you’re planning on talking to people through it.

    New Model = New Problems

It seems like the newer models of these headphones are just going down in quality. I had Gen 1 of the Astro A10 and that quality was unmatched. Then somehow gen 2 of A10s got worse so I returned that and got this, the A20s. These are not comfortable on the head, the sound quality is unbalanced (the treble is louder than the bass which can get painfully loud playing games with explosions or weapon fire), Astro pricing these heaphones at what they are is very greedy especially when you can get the earlier models for way cheaper and it sounds better and is more comfortable. BUT I will give these headphones one thing, I have not had an issue with the mic. The mic is actually quality and these are extremely easy to use. This is a review of the product, the process of buying it was very pleasant. The staff at the Bellingham, WA store is very helpful and nice to customers!

    Comfortable, but awful microphone

This headset is very comfortable to wear - it's super lightweight and not too tight on the head. Unfortunately that's about where the good stuff ends for this headset. Sound quality is mediocre at best. Not full-bodied sound, just feels like you're missing something the whole time you're listening. I actually had people online complain about the quality of the microphone on this headset. At first I thought it was just people online being a pain in the neck. After multiple complaints, I recorded a sample of my voice to listen to after making sure that my settings were proper. The microphone is just awful - it sounds like you're talking several feet away from the mic despite being right beside your mouth; very quiet, not clear, with some static and hissing mixed in. Returned, got a new headset and found the microphone was exactly the same. I gave this headset a chance, but ultimately ended up returning it and spending a $40 more to get the Corsair HS80 which is by far the best sounding and most comfortable headset I've ever owned. Buy this at your own risk. For a few bucks more you can get a much better quality headset.

Pros - Sound in very good. The headphones have a button to adjust sound tone. Kind of like a trebble and bass adjustment. Cons - They did not fit. I got a pressure point on the top of my head. I was hoping that it would take a while to adjust to the headphones. After a week - yes I play every night , I took them back.

After reading the reviews on this headset I thought this would be perfect for me but it really doesn't live up to it's reputation. It's plastic, it's light, it's flimsy, it's not comfortable on my head, and the sound isn't that great at all and on top of that it does not have Bluetooth so I cannot hear anything else but what is connected to with the dongle... I'm definitely returning it.
