I bought this equipment with doubts, due to the performance issue, but it has surprised me, I work with up to 5 tabs in the browser and without problem. I still have to expand the storage with an M.2 disk

I bought this laptop for my dad and it turned out to be a great choice. He uses it to browse the internet, read the news, watch videos, and run simple apps, and the ASUS handles all of that without any issues. The best thing is its value for the price: for the cost, it delivers pretty solid performance. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and has good battery life — perfect for someone who doesn’t need a high-powered machine. Obviously, it’s not meant for gaming or heavy tasks like video editing, but for everyday basics, it’s perfect. The only thing I’d improve is the storage, though that can be easily solved with an external drive or cloud storage. In short: if you’re looking for an affordable, reliable laptop for everyday use, this ASUS is a great option.

Exceptional deal for the $100 I got it at. I mainly use it during school, where everyone else is using admin-locked Chromebooks. Even though it may not be drastically more performant than a Chromebook, it is certainly good enough to do schoolwork and cloud game during free time (I frequently connect it to my home PC using Moonlight). 64GB may seem low nowadays, but it is enough to keep Windows 11 running smoothly as well as downloading a few pieces of software, and maybe even a light game or two (like FNAF or Stick Fight). Everything else such as display, battery, i/o, etc. is pretty good, but nothing mind-blowing.

This thing is incredible for $99! The build quality and performance are pretty amazing for the price. PROS: Quick and responsive Lightweight Quality construction (what you expect from ASUS) Cool number pad on touchpad (very easy to use) Easy to set up Long battery life Comes with FREE 1 year of MS Office 365 - worth $99 alone! Responsive keyboard and touchpad Nice screen Good wifi USB C and 3.0 ports HDMI port Pretty decent sound system CONS: No backlight on keyboard Windows 11 S mode - limits apps to the Microsoft Store. There are plenty of apps available though. The "plus side" is that it makes the laptop a little more secure since it stops installation of programs and apps that are not available in the store. OTHER THOUGHTS: Since this comes with Office 365 you get 1 TB of cloud storage which totally makes up for the 64GB on board storage. It also comes with a "Family" option when you set up 365, so that is like getting free 9 months of Office and OneDrive for your family. This is probably the best $99 I have spent on any piece of technology in recent memory. But you have to know what you are getting. It is not a desktop replacement or something to use for high end gaming. It is more like a great Chromebook replacement for Windows users.

Decent budget laptop for basic work. Low resolution screen makes this not a great choice for streaming media or gaming. Small onboard storage makes cloud work a necessity, however it's easy to add a m.2 form factor drive for more storage, but RAM is built in and *not* upgradeable. Incredible battery life; I worked for 8 hours nonstop and still had over 30% remaining. Overall a capable machine for basic work at a very low price

Easy fir downloaded games like sims 4 and even able to add mods. Sometimes it’s a bit slow and you have to charge it a few times a day but it’s a great laptop for School and games! FPS on sims isn’t too bad could be better but for the price I can’t complain! I would recommend getting a storage device for it though!

    Bought as a travel laptop

I was looking for a lightweight travel laptop, after taking abroad my MSI gaming and it's 170w power supply was heavy to lug around. The Asus E410 was a lightweight option, as I'm not a gamer, and just needed a laptop to answer client queries, while traveling. I easily upgraded the Asus to Windows 11 (it's Intel processor is on the list of supported processors), and removed it from S mode to load up non-Microsoft Store software. The laptops 4GB of DDR4 RAM is soldered to the motherboard and is non-upgradable, nor is it's 64GB EMMC storage, BUT unusual for a laptop at it's price range, the motherboard has an empty M.2 SSD slot. I was able to easily add a 256GB PCIe M.2 solid state drive, giving me two storage drives. I use the laptop's fixed 64GB EMMC drive for running Windows, and all its apps, and the 256GB M.2 drive for documents and media. This extra ability to add additional storage is a big bonus for people like me who don't want to save all my content to a cloud. The E410's ability to add a second storage drive alone, makes this laptop stand out from others in it's class and price range, as it doesn’t take long to fill up it's standard 64GB drive, as the Windows files take up a decent portion of that 64GB. Watch out for deals here at Best Buy, as the 14" E410 is regularly found for under $150.

Was a bit skeptical about bout purchasing this laptop because it was a blind buy but for the price I couldn't refused to get it. After roughly three weeks of using this product I don't have much complaints besides windows being lock in S mode which can easily be work around by deactivating it. The battery life is 8/10, the device is light weight makes it easy to carry around, the charger of the device is not as bulky as older versions, sound audio is 6/10 in terms quality, its a budget laptop so don't expect much storage and high end graphics. Overall I'll give the device a 7/10.

Pretty good laptop, it does everything i need it to but it only has 64GB storage which would be fine if you actually got all 64GB instead you get like 34GB which becomes much less once you start opening apps because every app you open needs an update before you use it plus the laptop itself needs an update that plus the 2GB i used to download a game 34GB quickly goes down to 13GB i highly recommend buying a external hard drive before or at the same time as the laptop

This laptop does not have much storage and definitely gets burnt out after a year or so, but if you are just using it for light work it's great. The keypad is kind of annoying and it is easy to accidentally turn it on.

This is a good little laptop for basic things. I bought mine so that my 8 year-old could play some low res games on it. Unbeknownst to me that this rig was even lower than my old gaming PC that was over a decade old. Keep its use simple, and worst case scenario, be prepared to upgrade a couple things, like the RAM and the HD.

I love the color of my Asus laptop! It is good for surfing the internet and watching movies. But the 2 cons I dislike about it is that it does not have a lot of data for storage. Also the keypad mouse with calculator is not so great, it comes on and off. It is best to buy a mouse to use separately.

Was not expecting much when purchased for $100. Turned out to be every bit as good as I required, with the exception of the limited storage. Small, thin, light yet sturdy with good battery life. Carry it around the house with little effort. Know what you are getting and you will be happy with this one.

As stated, the rating is mainly for the performance to $ ratio. Will not sugar coat it, the performance is rather painful especially in comparison to my R7 5800x, 32 gb 3600, 3080 12gb. But for most basic tasks, this is an ample little laptop. The option to add an additional m.2 was appreciated. I was in need of a very basic computer capable of running some astrophotography software such as SharpCap, Astrophotography Tool, and PHD Guiding 2 Just need to keep it's limitations in mind, ie, 4gb ram, very small storage, and dual core cpu "performance",

A good value basic laptop with excellent battery life. Suited for the most basic of tasks like YouTube or word processing. It can play video games from 15+ years ago or very basic graphical games, however. Downsides are the storage and the screen. Comes with a 64 gig sd card installed which gives about 30 gigs of actual usable space. Installed a 500 gig m.2 drive with no problems though. Screen is very basic and a bit washed out with pretty poor viewing angles. Unless you are looking directly straight on, the colors are a bit off. Overall for $99 (was on sale) this is a good little basic laptop if you know it's limits and don't need it for complex tasks.
