    Great Router but….(trend micro) agreement

    I have no complaints about this router its fantastic , But one thing that bothered me was the Agreement for QoS, if you read it you will understand, they basically collect alot of your information which is insane and they state it has nothing to do with Asus . I would recommend but be aware

    Worked Great for 18 Months

    This router had more range than we needed, even reaching out to my ring cameras throughout the yard. Loved the user interface, and it seemed to increase the speed. Was a great and stable product until the 2.4 signal went out after a year and a half. I expected a little longer life span from this router.

    Good router but distance was an issue

    This router is sound. IT is very easy to set up using the app and easy to update. However, the range is not what I excepted. it is in the middle of my house where my last one was located and one of my devices on the end of the house ( approximately 35 feet away) has issues. Disappointing.

    Decent Router but fails in Range.

    The router performs quite well. The only reason I am giving it 3 out of 5 is due to its range. We have a 3100 sqft house that is fairly tight with 3 floors and this router sits right in the middle. We had a similar issue with our previous router that was 6 years old so we thought with this newer technology the range would improve - but it didn't. This should not be that difficult of a problem to solve - or at least have a suitable extender that actually works.

    This was My first ASUS router experience was good until a few days ago when the wifi card on it went out. Couldn’t get any signal from the router. Even after multiple attempts of factory resetting and eventually gave up. Brought it back to the store since ASUS customer service was no help. Had GSP on router. Going back to Netgear Nighthawk.

    I wanted to buy a new router since I was moving. This item had pretty high rating at the techy sites, and I thought it would serve me well, for years to come. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to work with, it’s complicated and in my case I had to reset it at least twice a day. I returned it. If you’re a super tech savvy user, it may be good for you.

    The Instant Guard feature is broken. Maybe they'll fix with a firmware update. Contacted Asus support and they don't seem very competent. Overall, it's ok but disappointed at this price point.

      Please note that currently Instant Guard only works with a public IP address. If your Internet Service Provider (ISP) does not support this requirement, please contact your ISP. Please follow the steps in the FAQ below to set up Instant Guard.

    Can't handle giga byte connection

    Does not work with giga byte connection. It only gives 50 percent of payed download speed of 940/840.
